For example... armies and navies had domains of engagement & strategy in land and sea. Then came planes. New domain. New strategies. The domain of the air. 1947 the creation of the US Air Force. They were open to new ideas, new and real domains. Then cam space and cyber space. New domains. Then the creation of the US Space Force. They were open to new ideas. New strategies. New operations. Understand? New is new. New can be real. Well, seminary and church leaders have decided to not pursue higher things... ie Christ-in-You. New ideas are not pursued or obtained or tested. No, that is not the case. Christ-in-You, or the indwelling of the Holy Spirit IS the Gospel. It is the promise of all the OT prophecies and has been the message since the beginning. No one has "shied" away from it. If you are talking about "Christ consciousness," meaning everyone is their own Christ and it is just a lack of knowledge that is hindering them, that the sacrifice of Christ & repentance is unnecessary ... No, that is not "new" either. Informed pastors & theologians are very much aware of it and reject it as pagan heresy. It is nothing more than repackaged Gnosticism, which John strongly rebuked & refuted in his Gospel and Irenaeus at length in Against Heresies.
