If you check out the podcast there's already an episode on him as well as a completely different one on Warren lol (they're about 40-60mins long though)
@UCUVP49ZTPfdIJovZ6TydeBA Uh.. what? lol. The directly talked about her claim to be "native American" and even said how small of a percent it would have to be since it had to go back 6 generations. They also directly addressed _many_ of the issues possible dem voters have with her and are keeping them from wanting to vote for her. The very issues that keep me wary of her. In fact they dug into her quite a bit with a direct jab that it took bankruptcies for her to leave the Republican party, and not the overt racism stemming from them. But i get it, you dont like "Now This" and anything they say has to be propaganda even when they talk about facts. Iv seen people like you here in the comments before. Rarely do you seem to pay attention to the videos and when you have an issue with facts Now This brings to the table you ignore them. And unless they server you Warrens head on a platter you will cry about them being "bias". Sheesh.
The whole "Indian" story was grossly mispresented. What happened was that the Republicans dug deep to find dirt on her and THAT was the only thing they found. so after all the fuss they made she did the DNA test AND attached a statement that she wasn't claiming any of the culture or anything like this, for her it was just important that he mother didn't lie to her when she taught her that there was an ancestor, only to then being accused of doing what she was clearly stating NOT doing, leading her to apologize over nothing because she rather did that than having more of a discussion over a nothing burger.
1 / 1024th. Is this comment a joke... The average white American has more "Indian" blood than Warren, Warren is more white than the majority of white Americans.
I bet she had family members who carried stories throughout her life and she might have not been aware of how little Native American blood she had. It's not like there was DNA in the 80s and she did submit to the test. At least she didn't dodge it.
Absolutely LOVE this woman! Anyone, male or female who can make the 1% hide in fear whether through guilt or a guilty conscience is AOK in my book. Elizabeth has set a great example for young women (and men) everywhere in the world especially those who are kept down by a crony capitalist society..
"I do think there should be school... uhh, umm... probably Jesus school... and umm... it should have walls, and roof... and gun for potential grizzly..." - Betsy Devos
She also approved and then backpedaled on Ben Carson's appointment to Department of Housing when it wasn't even politically advantageous to approve him in the first place.
@cuiying deng so you fell for this cracked to the corporations you have the companies in China don't fall for this yes for the Trump dictionary but if the corporations that control America no president the United States there to confront the power that control this country until we don't change Congress in the United States I don't care what president in the United States stays in power they won't be able to do much. And by the way Bernie Sanders heat I should have been saying the same message for the past over 20 years if this country supposed to be the greatest economic country in the world why in the world we don't have a universal health insurance why is it the other countries around the world better prescription plans than the United States there are millions of people still in America that don't even have health insurance my own brother who had to retire from the NYPD kids prescription when up from $800 a month to $1,700 and now they don't even want to cover it don't tell me this is better than America people are suffering don't get me wrong I'm not saying that Trump can do it all or any other president but the Congress is afraid to confront the powers that control this country and the last President to do it was John F Kennedy
@@alalakjakaja5793 that's not what I was referring too. That the joe Biden is there is cuz the power that control this nation place there leaders. That's what I mean they did to him twice. President John F Kennedy, Martin Luther king jr., Malcolm X and Robert Kennedy. That tells you alot
Liz said FROM THE START that she would not take big money donations during the primary. I remember her saying it. She made no promises about the general.
There was a moment there last autumn when Warren found a sweet spot between Sanders and Biden as a candidate who could please both wings of the party, but then she just dropped the ball. Haaaaard.
What difference does it make where the money comes from. Just focus on what they do with it. Yes we must compromise. Congress represents the people. Not all people think alike. We all know the expression to choose your battles carefully.
She fought for the financial mistreatment, but she didn't fight for the racist thing that is Massachusettes, they literally make POC miserable down there.
I admire her because she answers questions honestly, like Jenk's about weather she was only turning down money for the primary and why. Most would dance around the issue.
It's okay, she can just give up and endorse Biden since she cares more about herself than the positions she purports to champion. WORKED WONDERS WHEN SHE DID IT WITH HILLARY LAST TIME, RIGHT?! =3
This would be more convincing if I believed that this is an unbiased review of Warren. I haven't noticed a ton of non-biased stories coming from NowThis though.
It's not. The whole story about her heritage was framed completely dishonestly by leaving out important details (most important that she didn't just release the result of her test but did it in tandem with a video in which she made very clear that she WASN'T claiming any heritage or special cultural status based on it, only to then being accused that she did, even though she clearly didn't, showing how dishonest the whole "controversy" was from the get go), and that she doesn't want the US to be a socialist country isn't a mark against her either, because "Socialism" in the US context has a very particular meaning. It is better to push for the notion of a Social democracy or a social market economy than accepting this toxic label. (Especially since that is what she actually wants, a state based on the European model).
(Breitbart) - Democrat presidential candidate Sen. Elizabeth Warren’s (D-MA) son-in-law, with whom she is close, has troubling ties to the Iranian regime, according to a new book by Peter Schweizer. The book, Profiles in Corruption, reveals progressive leaders’ little-known ties to corrupt businesses and governments and discusses the Massachusetts senator in a chapter. The chapter details the business deals of Warren’s son-in-law, Sushil Tyagi, who is married to her daughter, Amelia. Tyagi was born in India but moved to the United States, where he met Amelia while they were both pursuing MBAs at Wharton Business School. Warren and Tyagi are close. She attended his brother’s wedding in India, recounting it in her memoir. She and her husband Bruce Mann in December 2009 served as witnesses for a power of attorney corporate document he filed in India. Since his marriage into the Warren family, Tyagi “has been involved in a series of curious-even troubling-business ventures around the world,” Schweizer writes. Tyagi runs Tricolor Films, and in 2008, produced a film called The Song of Sparrows, directed by Iranian filmmaker Majid Majidi. The film was described as Majidi’s “most religious” and is about a man who is fired from his job on an ostrich farm, moves to the big city and becomes a motorcycle taxi driver, and soon becomes consumed with his passengers’ lives and is swept up in a world of greed. It is his family that help him restore his “caring and generous nature,” according to a film synopsis. Tyagi was listed as the film’s sole producer on a New York Times page, in credits which have now been deleted. A look back at the page’s archive revealed that the film was funded by the Iranian government agency that is overseen by Iranian propagandists. Schweizer writes: The full credits of the film, for some reason, seem to also have been scrubbed from the internet. We obtained a copy by using the Wayback machine and made a startling discovery: the movie’s chief investors included none other than the social deputy of the State Welfare Organization (SWO) of Iran (SWO-“معاونت اجتماعی سازمان بهزیستی کشور”) as well as the Cultural and Artistic Organization of Tehran. (“سازمان فرهنگی و هنری شهرداری تهران”) These two investors in the film might appear at first glance to be innocuous cultural organizations-but they are not. Both are funded and controlled by the Islamist Iranian government. The Cultural and Artistic Organization of Tehran states: “This organization was founded in 1996 and [does] its activities under the supervision of a board of trustees composed of various cultural institutions such as IRIB and Islamic propaganda organization.” The Cultural and Artistic Organization of Tehran’s page promotes cultural events such as one for school children entitled “The Seal of Hostages,” attended by several top Iranian officials, according to the book. Another event is the inherently antisemitic Quds Day on the last day of Ramadan. The organization also arranges marches, as well as organizes posters and other materials, for Quds Day. Its site says, “A new plan for the destruction of Israel will be launched, and the Quds Cultural Radio station will be located at the Radio Station. Also, the ‘I love the fight against Israel’ is distributed among the people.” Schweizer notes, “Quds Day typically features massive crowds organized by the Iranian government chanting ‘death to America’ and burning effigies, with full media coverage.” He writes Tyagi’s The Song of Sparrows has film credits that read like “who’s who of prominent Iranian government institutions.” For example, there is a thank-you to the “Iranian Revolutionary Guards Air Force.” This was during a time of heightened U.S.-Iran tensions, when Washington had accused Iran of assisting in the killing of five American soldiers based in Iraq, and the then-Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad had repeatedly threatened that the United States, which he declared a “satanic power,” and warned that Israel would disappear from the face of the earth. Tyagi also produced another film by Majid Majidi, but even less information is available about this film, Schweizer writes. According to the book, a now deleted Web page describes Tyagi’s production company this way: Leveraging their relationships with studio executives, access to top creative talent, and the high-level support that they enjoy from numerous foreign governments, this Los Angeles-based production company is developing a number of major international-themed projects for feature films, television, and interactive media. “It is not known what foreign governments those might involve beyond Iran. Why the website was shut down is also unknown,” the book says.
Oh Lord I heard people call Trump all sort of names but this one is maybe the biggest put down The former steak salesman ,yeah Trump did peddle T:Bone steaks.
This "Who is?" series is laughably biased, slight attempts are made to reflect non-becoming aspects of Democratic politician's careers but for the most part this plays like party propaganda. Why are democratic senators seemingly above question and reproach? We need to consider this question and not simply accept the story presented by channels such as NowThis, just as much as we question and criticize what we find on Fox News.
That’s facts! They did a real hit piece on Susan Collins from Maine. Definitely laughably biased. And notice when discussing Donald Trump, he was referred to as a former steak salesman instead of the presiding officer of the trump organization, which was his career at the time of the’16 election. I guess the money really is in parroting DNC talking points 😂
Make great vice president far more Qualified than anyone else in Biden's short list. Then have Karmelia Harris and Glen kishner Run DOJ and fix it and reform it . Joe hope you do this best qualified person to help implement new policy changes .
Love how this ridiculous channel glosses over something as fundamental as lying about your race and culture in order to advance your career. She is as Indian as I am Martian.
She is still the best choice. I love Bernie, and will enthusiastically support him, but do you really think a majority of American voters will elect a self-professed "socialist"? Elizabeth does not hold this baggage.
@@maxsmart645 Bernie Sanders is not a socialist nor does he claim to be. What he claims to be isn't even what he really is. If he's a socialist then England, Switzerland, Canada, etc. are socialist.
The facts of Warrens actions is why people turned off her. She lies and backed out of Medicare for all. Rather than return to what was getting her support originally. She started her dirty smear job on Sanders is what made people angry and vocal. It backfired on her. She showed people how she treats those she calls her friends and voters rightly dont believe she wont turn on them.
Didn’t she “rob the system” herself? ...by claiming to be Indian and writing a stolen recipe in an Indian cookbook? AND she sent her kids to private school! That said, she sure is smart but when you are running as a “clean candidate” you should not have these glaring issues in your past.
Well her story checked out didn't it. She was told she had an Indian grandfather and she had traces on Native American DNA. He was probably mixed. Those family histories can get muddled. As far as stealing a recipe and sending her kids to private schools, how perfect do you expect people to be for Petes sake! Compared to Trump and almost every other swamp creature in DC she is an angel.
