Sheff United have a solid looking defence this season .. goalkeeper Super Michael Cooper included. The Blades team squad is still in its infancy and they will continue to gel together and get even better as the season progresses. Chris Wilder knows all about the Blades as a supporter, manager, and past player for the Blades, he was in Dave Harry Bassets Sheff United team of the 1990 - 91 season that won promotion back to the First Division - come Premiere League, in Which Blades striker Brian Dean scored the first ever Premier League goal at Bramall Lane in a 2 -1 win against Man United. The point that I'm making is the fact that Chris Wilder and Sheff United know all about winning promotion to the Premier League and SO FAR it's looking like he could lead the Blades back to the promised land for a second time ( still a long way to go ) fingers crossed 🤞. Once Sheffield United's attack starts to click that's it, job done. I genuinely believe they're going to romp to the title comfortably.

As a Sunderland supporter I am delighted with our start and believe we will be in the mix come the end of the season. We matched Leeds and fully deserved our draw at the stadium of light. Leeds will win the league this season as they look really strong all over the pitch with pace and skill up front. Sheffield United will be in the mix, solid at the back and winning ugly is the sign of a good team. Burnley have yet to convince me, play-offs at best. Norwich, W.B.A and Boro will make the play-offs. Luton and Coventry have to start picking up results as the gap is getting wider by the week. A dark horse could be Sheffield Wednesday as they are finding some form at last. The championship is the best league in the world as bar Leeds United this year it`s wide open. If I had to pick three teams right now, I would probably say Leeds, Sheffield United, and West Brom. There’s so many teams that could be in with a shout of the playoffs this season.

If Watford could get a striker that could score 10 to 15 goals a season, we would be up there, but without we we will end up just off playoffs. Going into the season, any Watford fan would take that anyway. Remember this name Bahh, raw talent and unpredictable and sure he will make a big impact this season.

I am a blade, it's really early in the season and I am still mentally scarred from last season, you need so much money to survive, we need a couple of seasons in the championship, to sort the club out , ie new owners etc, , but good luck too whoever gets there

Sheff U have not got that out and out goal scorer but since the EPL have swept up almost everybody who has looked anything like scoring then there is a shortage. I'm hopeful that somebody, hopefully a home made player comes through the ranks and starts knocking them in as it could be the difference between autos and play offs. Let's face it The Championship is the biggest thing most teams are ever likely to win now, so if that striker comes through it's theirs for the taking.

With ourselves we haven't been outstanding but we're still top so we have gears to go up so that's very positive plus we have semmedi our new signing to come in who played in champions league for lens last season plus Aaron Connolly who is an experienced championship striker who scored 10 goals in 36 for hull last season so all in all I'm not sure top two but definitely playoff contender we shall see

Leeds fan here, the loss of Ampadu & Gruev ( both for months) is a huge hit to our chances this year, I would have been quite confident of top 2 before but now am worried 😮‍💨😮‍💨.

As a Blades fan i had us down in the bottom half due to all the players leaving around 17 of them and changing our formation of 3-5-2 to 4-4-1-1 and 3-4-2-1 and we haven't used all our transfer options so in Jan we can add if needed in CW we trust ⚔️

Leeds: played away games at Sunderland, Norwich, WBA and Burnley at home so a tough start and defensively, the best in the division. Interesting how people criticise Meslier yet he has kept several clean sheets. The issue seems to be failing to convert the numerous chances created and a number of injuries now a factor. Hopefully James and Solomon back after the break. Can see Leeds going on a winning run now so top two is bare minimum.

I have to admit that I didn't see it coming but the most impressive side so far has been Sheffield United, partly because they don't let many in. They look very, very solid. The Sunderland squad is too young I think to get top two but are defintely a contender for the play-offs. Leeds and Burnley have the potential but do they have the stability? The goals seem to have dried out at Turf Moor, but like Blades they are very sound defensively. WBA are also very solid but I'm not sure if they have the necessary squad depth. Boro have been playing better than results suggest, and I do think they're a certain for the top six. Norwich are looking good now especially in attack, but they also allow the opposition quite a few chances, which is something they'll need to work on. Right now I'll say Sheffield United and Burnley followed by Leeds via the play-offs, but things could easily look different come Christmas.

I think Norwich will be happy to have a break and feel the same about other clubs. The schedule has been punishing and after a 3 game week, they will welcome some time off. I fancy Burnley and Leeds for automatic promotion with Burnley as champions. Next I suggest will be Norwich, West Brom, Sunderland and Middlesbrough in the playoffs in no particular order. Norwich or West Brom to get promoted and I’m leaning towards West Brom at the moment. To go down from what I’ve seen so far, Cardiff, Portsmouth and QPR.

I don't want to say it cause I love this league nevertheless but parachute payments slowly kill this league. Because it's almost certain that at least two if not all three of the parachute payment teams will go straight back up. And if they go up they have at least I woluld say a 70% percent chance to go straight back town. I mean look at Sheffield United they were one of the worst Premier League teams ever and now they are bullying teams in the championship. Let's be honest which neutral fan want to see Sheffield United (or Burnley) go straight back up? We all know if not some miracle happens that Sheffield United will go straight back down. So it has no meaning. I mean if I were a Sheffield United fan, I would rather spent a few season in tier 2 and slowly build a team which can compete in the Premier League then be a yoyo club and never have any chance of survival in the Prem. (Only my opinion)
