Since it doesn't seemed to be mentioned in the comments, but Lexie Liu USED to be part of 88 Rising. Pretty sure it was her first album with songs like Outta Time, Bygone, Mulan, and some others. She later left before releasing her second album called Meta Ego. She did do work for Riot Games for a song by K/DA as the voice of Seraphine. Not to mention she now has her own label. She also produces and writes her own music as well as other things. For some more context about the song Jia Ren aka beautiful woman. It's partially about how foreigners view Asian girls (not sure if its specifically Chinese girls), and about females sticking up for themselves. Don't really remember the full context to give a proper tl;dr for it, but here you go.

You have to check more of her, her music is so good ! I suggest Manta, Metropolis and Mulan (the last one doesn't have a video but it's sooo good). Also I recommend Queendom and Jasmine by Vinida Weng, another chinese artist.

Outside of china sadly a very underrated artist. i love her songs and shes just my kind of crazy. you cant really go wrong with any of her songs. some are growers and need a second listen to get through to you, but most are just plain bangers
