Louise Trotter is the creative director of Lacoste, and former creative director of British label Joseph. Under her leadership, Joseph’s own line became more fashion forward, offering its interpretation of recent trends alongside the classic silhouettes that made founder Joseph Ettedgui successful. In July 2018 her departure from Joseph was announced following a nine-year tenure, while in September she joined Lacoste as the brand's first female creative director, in succession of Felipe Oliviera Baptista's eight year tenure.

I really like her high end Lacoste and I would buy some pieces but like where? I literally can’t find any retailers for that stuff lol. It’s all just the polos everywhere even in high fashion retailers I don’t get it

They release their runway stuff on their website only, as like a capsule collection for a limited amount of time. You have to sign up to the newsletter to stay updated

nice video! reminds me of jimothy lacoste hhh. lacoste to me is kinda like fred perry, ralph lauren and other mainstream brands which feel like they are for old rich mens. hhh but in recent years i get to appreciate these brands and start to rock them!

The brand looks so much more modern and contemporary under her direction, it's less of the boring old sportswear apparel and is actually appealing to more of the younger and digital generation. Louise would be perfect for Celine.

I couldn't wear lacoste in 2020 with the crocodile logo it just smacks of as chav and out of touch (alot of men in their 50s wear it thinking its still trendy) but I appreciate the info on Louise Trotter.

I remember my UK cousins would always be concerned with looking like a Chav or something like that... It seems like you guys are concerned about looking like a stereotype of this and that and then flash forward 10 years or so logo-mania and sportswear comes back lol

@@J.Sandhu2 Yeh in the UK Lacoste now is probably what GAP would be like to wear in the USA now just out of touch, old school. The problem with lacoste though is that it attracted people who did crime and did not want to work to the brand like stone Island did with the football terrace firm gangs here.
