Gotta dispute your Yurov breakdown. He’s absolutely in touch with Wild brass. Even being the rare Russian that attended prospects camp this past summer. The Wild believe he will develop better one more year dominating KHL talent as opposed to likely bouncing around the AHL as he discovers more of his game. Things are not bad between the camps. That’s mostly according to Michael Russo but some other writers arojnd the Twin Ciites. Much respect btw, the rest is all on point from everything else you said. Good vid.
Thank you! I'm excited to see Yurov in the NHL. I only saw an article from Michael Russo about Yurov's disappointment with the lack of communication from the Wild organization and players but, to be fair, you may have found other sources that contradict that! (Which is exciting) I'm definitely putting the cart before the horse with Yurov talk for sure
Im really hoping khusnutdinov can provide some good bottom six scoring. The top 6 for the wild (mainly the top line) Are scoring more than enough, we just need some depth scoring
I have absolutely nothing to contribute. Didn't know this guy, sounds exciting. Minnesota Wild play by play guy is one of my favorites..... I usually listen to their games, so I'll listen for those names coming up I learned much from this video, probably listen to it again. 👍 Been wondering where the heck the Wild have been the last few years. 🤔 (Along with Stars & Predators) I have a question that has nothing to do with anything. When you talk about NHL West, once in awhile this question pops in my head- Do you think Bruce Cassidy's going to Vegas significantly shook up the Western Conference & certain teams' trajectories? Took "franchise momentum" away from Avs & Oilers? I think his sudden arrival in Vegas shocked the NHL and "pissed off" GM's in the Western conference! It's tough to quantify something like that, but it seems like there were Western conference teams on their way up that are sort of back stuck in the middle of the pack again. 🤷 Thanks for the content - always interesting.
Anthony Lapanta is a fantastic commentator over in the Twin Cities. I'm hoping he is still the voice of the Wild when Ballys finally stops broadcasting. I'll for sure do a video on their season and pre season expectations once we know if they will make the playoffs...although it's looking as though it's still a long shot. I do think Cassidy's coaching style has shaken up the Western Conference for sure but I'm not sure about the franchise momentum per se. I might do a video on that! Seems like an interesting topic but that's also one of those topics that might require further research and time to analyze further.
