Who is Marvel's Colossus? Russian built, but "Ford Tough." 

He's been my favorite X-man for as long as I can remember. And I grew up reading the old Uncanny X-men when Chris Claremont wrote the stories. He's noble, loyal, and gentle. And not afraid to whoop some ass when the situation calls for it. And he just looks damn cool.

colossus is a bad ass character ,I have the issue when he sacrificed himself for the legacy virus ,he couldn't wait on beast's formula so he injected himself with the virus which made him briefly o.p and he died ,I have the funeral issue too .

Colossus has been one of my fave xmen for years. Cytorakk colossus was super dope as well as Phoenix force colossus

One of the most underrated, under used Xmen. Hate that every animation barely used him (Xmen animated from the 90s, Xmen Evolution, Wolverine & the Xmen, Madhouse Xmen anime, etc.). At least Deadpool movies showed him love. I hated that a Cytorrak powered Colossus got sonned by Red Hulk and Grimm during AvX because Perlmutter didn't want the Xmen to shine because the Disney/Fox beef. Without the Cytorrak powers he was a problem for Juggy and Hulk! Once the deal is official this friday, hope we get as much Xmen overexposure the Avengers enjoyed this passed decade because the MCU.

His return is still to this day one of the most dope sequences of panel ever! That s**t gave me chills the first time I read it.

A lot of people usually push him to the side. I wish he got more spotlight. Hes a pretty unique character compared to a lot of the other characters. I never knew he could turn off his ability. You rarely see him in his normal form

Wish there was a story where he got a gamma boost from professor hulk, armor from Odin and then became a harold of galactus. But then there would not be anyone left to challenge him and make a good story out of it. So maybe just a healing factor from sabertooth, gamma injection from the hulk and omega red type of armor

So he is basically sane, better built tyrant from RE series

The not needing oxygen when in his armored form varies from writer to writer.

His original conception was an affront to U.S.S.R foreign practice at the time. They would famously put on huge military displays just before delegates from other nations came to discuss matters. The veiled threat was always "We want to talk. You will agree with us or you get what we just showed you". Colossus is the same. A gigantic mass of bio-metal that shows you how big and metallic he is all the while saying that he just wants everyone to get along. And you had better get along.

Brother I love your reports on Marvel characters and what have you but I implore you to please mention that your facts come after the retcons, because I am old school and some of the facts that you left off of many of my favorites heroes, Because threw out the 70's and 80's he's been killed 3 times being the final time was the death in Dallas by fellow X-man Forge; So before the 90's where Colossus was always 7'4 in human and in steel forms. Now after they went threw the magical Mirror that Dazzler owned known as the Seige Perilous which I can't remember how she even got the damn thing. That's not here or there to what I am typing about. I'm 45 years old and a lot of my heroes that you mention you leave off the things that I know which happen before the retconing of Marvel and D.C. and even Darkhorse comics. I would like to ask you to please add in the facts before the Retcons as well if it's not to much trouble because a lot of things that are facts for me are no long facts today. At one time Colossus was taller then the Hulk because the Hulk use to only be 7 feet even where Colossus and the Juggernaut where both taller then the Hulk. Hulk use to only be 7 feet even where Both Colossus was 7'4 and Juggernaut was only 7'2 and even the Blob was 7'1 at one time and then all of the Annuals and retcons happing, otherwise your right on the money but what about us Generation X'ers like me who have been reading comics since the late 70's since I was born in 73 things are different for you then me.
