Just last week, I first heard of Marvel's Hercules, and spent half a day's researching him including watching some cartoon clips. This was perfect timing for me. I hope that Hercules enters the MCU in some mystical and 80s METAL way.

I still have the *"Champions"* issues from way back where Hercules teamed with Black Widow, Angel, Iceman and Ghost Rider. Lasted only 17 issues. Great synopsis.
I've always liked the fact that they have, for the most part, made the character Hercules funny. The fights or should I say funfair between him and Thor has often times been priceless humor; I mean man to walk up and sock your friend in the jaw just to say hi...lol. Always fantastic, always greatness, always fun is your narration, videos and content my brother New Sage. I don't have any problem with Marvel making Hercules funny.There's nothing wrong with a character having a sense of humor,my problem is with Marvel making Hercules into a clown and a buffoon.The Marvel version of Hercules is seen as a joke by BOTH his fellow heroes AND villains alike! Also,Hercules with a man-bun is not something I like seeing! Ha! Ha! But Hercules,as a mythological character,is solidly in the public domain,so Marvel's free to depict their version of Hercules however they wish to.I'm going to be doing some independent comics on my own version of Hercules,too and he'll be based on the Steve Reeves-Hercules from the 1950s Hercules movies and my take on Hercules will admittedly,look a little like the Marvel version(since I'm using the Steve Reeves-version of Hercules and the Marvel version of Hercules was based on the Steve Reeves-Hercules in terms of likeness and appearance).But personality-wise,they'll be about as different as you can get.But that's the great thing about public domain characters,people are free to use them however they wish to! Marvel,DC and Disney have co-opted a lot of the famous public domain characters and made a good profit off of them,so there's no reason that other people shouldn't be able to,as well! And what I will say about the Marvel version of Hercules is that to his credit,unlike the DC version,he's not a villain,a murderer and a rapist.He's still a hero but just a deeply flawed one.
I cant think about this guy without also thinking about Zeus and I can't think about him without thinking about Hulk going against Zeus and losing badly even though he wasn't fighting to win but to help his friends.
As much as I like Hercules, he is the middle child of the big 3 (Thor, the Hulk and Hercules). All are pretty close to one another in strength / toughness but his big brother (Thor) is more versatile (being the God of Thunder + powers of Mjolnir) and his little brother Hulk is physically the strongest & toughest of the bunch. The only thing that really sets him apart is he is the better unarmed combatant but unfortunately Marvel does a piss poor job of reflecting the fighting skills of Hercules and Thor. The Hulk is the biggest winner of this fact, as him landing a clean hit would be rather doubtful against either of them, while the other two would be making precise strikes. People who rage don't win very often against people who know what they're doing. They can only bank on playing for that 1-shot. . .
Hercules is an underused & underrated character. I feel like base THOR & base HERCULES are pretty even. THOR might be a lil better at armed CQC & HERC might be a lil better at unarmed H2H close quarters combat. Either way THE ALLFATHER ODIN is the Best mythological deity in all of comics
Hercules is not vastly stronger than Thor. He’s simply better at hand to hand because wrestling in one of his strong suits. Hercules is one of the few people who can stop Thor and he’s strong enough to stop the Hulk.

Herc has always been the poorman's Thor for Marvel. I grew up on both in the 80s but Herc's limited series had me cracking up to this day! Rojohn Smythe, Red Wolf and Zeus' "crazy act"🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
Marvel’s Hercules is a true immortal( meaning he stopped aging upon reaching adulthood). Unlike Thor who ages extremely slowly. As the god of strength he possesses Class 100 level which means he’s one of strongest beings in the MU. He’s gone toe to toe with heavy hitters like Thor, Hulk and the Submariner when he’s fully hydrated. He’s been underrated for years and needs his own movie.

I think that could be a good casting but Henry Cavill seems to be too laid back in my opinion not boisterous enough. Heck , if he hadn’t been cast as Thor I’d say Chris Hemsworth! Lol

Zeus is coming in Love and Thunder next year which introduces the pantheon. The problem is how to introduce him, does he get his own movie to introduce him? Or does he cameo in another movie first? Or will he just be a secondary character like Black Widow, Hawkeye, Vision (before they got their own shows/movies).

@@brandonfitzgerald8831 Thats my point. Maestro was smart enough to realize he couldn't overpower him so he outsmarted him instead. Therefore at that point in time he was stronger than the Hulk, either by getting stronger through the years or Hulk just being weaker at the time

I've been a fan of your channel for a long time and I was wondering when are you ever going to make a video on Hercules man you finally did it. Hercules is one of my favorite characters because he's like a modern day updated version of Hercules who uses weapons and portals and guns and. All kinds of crazy stuff too bad we don't see a lot of them anymore the last time we saw Hercules or I saw Hercules. Was when he was in an alternate universe where wolverine was dating Hercules.
I believe Hercules is the strongest in terms of “raw strength,” meaning, although Hulk can get stronger, Herc’s base level strength is the overall greatest out of everyone. A lot of people like to rank Thor above him, but Hercules fought Thor in Blood Oath and out fought Thor in pure hand to hand combat, and was on the verge of choking him out when Thor then used his lightning (the deal was to use no powers) to make Hercules let go. Hercules is extremely underrated for sure.
No one should be stronger than Hercules. Not the Hulk, not Thor, no one. He is a deity, literally the personification of strength. Making the (way overpowered) Hulk stronger is an insult.

1:30 I love the Hulk, but that isn't the case. Hercules and the Hulk are in the same tier without a clear superior. The same is true for Sentry, Thor and a few others. Probably Juggernaut and Gladiator too.

Hercules Vs Maestro (Future Hulk) ..it's a great read.. Hercules admitted He can only stand toe to toe with Hulk before Hulk gets really mad..So he tries to jump on Hulk as fast as possible..it's a great story
I say make a Hercules movie first where at the end he leaves mt.Olympus and he goes to find other beings in the galaxy runs across the guardians of the galaxy -Thor and quill and drax get their asses kicked , Peter sends out a beacon about Hercules to Thor and they they cross paths somewhere and fight then share a similar back story!
Marvel covers the gamut of public domain characters.Pretty much every public domain character people can think of(and ALL characters from myth,legend,folklore and religion are in the public domain and can't be owned by anyone),Marvel has their own specific version of them.

@@sheehvn___x1716 I got 6* Apoc from the July 4th Nexus. And was able to R3 him. Once Summer of Pain is over I’m taking Doom, CGR and Hopefully iBom all to R3. Right now Killmonger and Apoc ate my only R3’s.
