From his upbringing in New York City during the 1930's and 40's, the unwavering support of his wife Faith Shabazz through the many trials he endured after joining the U.S. Army, he and 300 African-American soldiers being forcibly subjected to an imperfect experimental Super Soldier Serum that was developed after the passing of the original developer named Dr. Erskine, acquiring peak human abilities that borderline on superhuman, being his unit's only survivor of the experiments and their clandestine missions, successfully completing every assignment he was given, not being fully appreciated by the military who wanted to bury these shameful experiments, gaining legendary respect from both notable black celebrities and black superheroes around the world, to his bloodline spawning the well-known Josiah X aka Justice and Elijah Bradley aka Patriot; Let's take a look at this groundbreaking Marvel superhero, and the revered first Black Captain America.
