In an incident, in Arunachal Pradesh there have been revelations about the passing of a Malayali couple and their friend. It appears that the trio, Naveen, Devi and Arya held beliefs in 'rebirth' that may have influenced their decision to take their lives. The authorities are set to investigate the situation in Ziro. Will also look into social media accounts promoting superstitions.
It is known that Naveen and Devi had previously visited Arunachal Pradesh. The police report suggests that the deceased had faith in leading an existence on another planet believing they would possess abilities than regular humans.
Allegedly Naveen orchestrated the journey to Arunachal Pradesh. Persuaded Devi and Arya to join him based on these superstitions. The couple left Kottayam under the guise of a vacation on March 17. Were seen in Thiruvananthapuram on March 21 and 26. Their online activity indicated an interest in information about life, beyond Earth.
Later Arya also joined them. Together they took their flight to the state on March 27.
The final rituals, for Devi and Arya were conducted in Thiruvananthapuram on Thursday. Naveens body is currently being kept at a morgue in a hospital in Kottayam. The cremation is scheduled for this afternoon.
During their investigation the police discovered that Arya had received emails from servers dating back to 2021. These emails mostly contained messages related to life on planets. Thiruvananthapuram DCP Nidhin Raj informed the media that the authorities are thoroughly examining this matter.
The scope of the investigation will now extend to groups in Arunachal Pradesh promoting superstitions and unfounded beliefs. The deceased individuals were known to have been involved in discussions about 'rebirth' for, over three years.
Law enforcement officials are searching for groups, individuals or literature that may have influenced these individuals to take their lives. Arunachal Pradesh police will be providing phones and laptops seized from the crime scene to Kerala authorities. It is hoped that information extracted from these devices will aid in unraveling the mystery surrounding the case.
