Only verse 1 and the bridge are ab the drivers license girl and everything else is towards haters who were sending her death threats, telling her to khs, calling her a homewrecker, and telling her to break up w the guy she's with after the song drivers license came out bc she was the "blonde girl". Those other lines are basically meaning that she doesn't give af what they say bc at the end of the day it's not going to affect her or her personal life.

I don’t think Sabrinas song is petty at all. The only kinda petty thing was her saying that he’s on her skin, but Sabrina writes from the beginning, we could have been friends in another life and pretended there’s no gravity in the words we write, because Olivia knew that her song would cause some friction in her Sabrinas and Joshuas life by releasing drivers license and mentioning both of them. She knew it would get attention and hate towards her. Sabrina is getting death threats, so that’s Sabrina saying like okay you didn’t say anything mean but your song affected my life. Also Olivia knows he’s in a relationship so why would she sing “I still fucking Love you” those are fighting words to me LOL sooooo.... where else was Sabrina mean?

She’s addressing her completely just so that she know this song is for her, but aside from that how would you react if the EX of the person you’re currently dating writes a song to the masses telling them that she still loves him, and addresses you in it? And then after that you get sent hate and death threats? She’s not rubbing it in, she’s letting her know that it’s okay for her to have those feelings but you didn’t have to make a song about it because you’re famous, and would you even if he’s not with you he’s with me.
