Sean and Ethan find out which one of them is the smartest person in the Brain Leak world Listen to our podcast: listen.qcodeme... Edited by: / @treyyates
The editing with the last question coming onto the screen saying " the marinara trench is the sauciest of which pasta" literally sent me. This editing is too good
right! i thought i was just imagining it so i had to go back and look and noticed i had to have read it correctly because it was the most replayed moment lol
More of a serious comment that I hope gets to the guys. I am struggling with OCD for the past 6 or 7 years and this year has been about making big steps for me (with a therapists help). Now, when this pod came out it actually helped me more than I thought. It made a lot of my obsessions tolerable + was just fast pased enough for my ADHD , so thanks a lot. I hope you guys keep doing this cause it really helped me.
I was listening to this in another room with headphones and didn't realize it was on 1.5 speed until i saw the video. Just thought yall's adhd was on hyperdrive lmao
The editing is honestly great. It’s almost on the verge of being a little much but it isn’t too much. The amount of effort that goes into these videos is awesome and I’m here for it
no you aren't dumb! there are more important things to be educated on than these questions. plus now you know the answers from this video so you learned something new :)
I got 11 😂 Good jobs guys! They were some hard questions. I love you two together, you are both naturally funny and bounce off eachother which makes me so happy you made this podcast and let all of us be along for the ride with you guys 💕 The editing is epic in this, well done to you 🫡👏🏻
I'm very into archeology and there was actually a relatively recent discovery in the Fertile Crescent withing Turkey. Karahan tepe and Göbeklitepe pre-date any other civilization by aproximately 1000 years at least! It was a large hunter gatherer civilization and culture that is still only partially excavated. Göbekli tepe and Karahan tepe are even older than agriculture which is truly fascinating seeing as civilization had been marked as the beginning of agriculture before this discovery. Sorry just heard you say Mesopotamia was the oldest civilization in the Fertile Crescent and I got really excited lol
Great video as always! I really missed Sean and Ethan together. It always brings so much joy to my day and the editing is freaking on point. My pet peeve is when people call Marie sklodowska-curie by just her second surname. I know it's hard to pronounce and to spell but I think it's kinda disrespectful as she specifically wanted to be called by her Polish surname as well.
i have never had a better academic confidence boost than this video. being able to demolish two 20/30 something yr old dudes at general knowledge has given me an ego bigger than a school award ever could
Ethan, I had a really good science teacher in 7th grade and he taught us a way to remember the order of the planets, My Very Easy Method Just Sped Up Naming Planets. Mercury, Venus, Earth, Mars, Jupiter, Saturn, Uranus, Neptune, Pluto, even after getting short-term memory loss from having brain cancer, I still remember this😂
This is hilarious because I live in Rhode Island and just hearing Sean say " why the f**k would I know that?" made me laugh hysterically. Kudos to Ethan for knowing though not many do surprisingly. I love you guys so much 😂
Frederick Sanger sequenced insulin in like the 50s, Banting, Best, and McLeod discovered insulin in the 20s which was shortly after refined by Collip. You could maybe say Sanger "discovered" DNA sequencing, but that is more a development than a discovery
Some of Ethan's answers were funnier than getting it right. Marie Curie, famous as the first female UK Prime Minister and first female Nobel Prize winner
6:57 Fredrick Sanger didn't discover insulin, Sir Fredrick Banting discovered it in 1921, Fredrick Sanger just discovered the acids that string insulin together
history and geography were not my favorite subjects in school. math was- until i started geometry class- and i got all the math questions on here so i'm happy
Definitely said “silver” with my whole chest for the “what element is AU” question 😅. And I did not know all the assassinated presidents, and I am American. Thatcher took me a hot minute, had to pause, and I knew Chernobyl was in Pripyat, but couldn’t remember the country 😂.
