I'm just a die hard fan of quality Tekken. speaking of, here's another pro tip. if you want 1080p 60fps videos in your search results, add ", 1080p60" as a suffix to whoever you wanna watch. e.g. "yeonarang tekken, 1080p60" thank me later 😎👍
Lil Majin with King, was DEFINITELY a heck of a run. It’s fun to watch his live streams and RU-vid videos now, and you can tell when he’s being casual or serious with an opponent.
@@yusufrahman2294 For real man. That's the most impressive part about his run in EVO. He was on vacation with his girlfriend. Korean players have to no-life Tekken to get to the point they're at. I'm not saying Majin hasn't got plenty of experience himself, but to beat a player like JDCR, who stands at the top of a scene as hyper-competitive and populated as the Korean Tekken scene, it requires insane talent.
Jimmy definitely got Bryan on lock. When they Knee and Jimmy fought and Knee won, Knee said that Jimmy had a better taunt jet upper and he learned a new combo during the match from jimmy.
Wow mainman I've searched this video title many times as a new tekken player and wondered why no one had made a video discussing the topic. I was very close to commenting a few times asking if you or some other creators could make a video like this, so thank you very much!
I always look for Ao in Asian tournaments or EVO, he's not sponsored but he's an absolute killer and can run through brackets faster than most international players
I main Kunimitsu because of AO’s Kuni mirror matches with Chanel. All I knew before this was that AO was a good Alisa player, and I just love his play style. It’s like an combination of patience and creativity. I also think B has a good Kuni, and Chanel is good too. AO’s Alisa is also as good as Chanel’s, at least they are at the same level.
Most optimal Jin is Devilster and when he gets a sponsor team he will definitely do bits. And for Devil Jin Qudans is clear by miles than knee. The only reason Devil Jin got nerfed was because Qudans showed how much potential the character had and how ridiculous it was.
@바른이름0917 I remember Sodam hosting a mini Xiaoyu only event, and guess who won? Knee LOL. The finals was Knee vs Wecka 😅 Although yeah, the 963 is hard LOL Not to mention, Knee got Omega on Xiaoyu only fighting Sodam 😂
One Heihachi player from pakistan that has interesting setups and crazy execution is Aqeel Zahoor, he plays a lot against devilster. He doesnt do competitions unfortunately, although he said "soon"...
@@Darkknightrexx where did you saw that? Because some of his setups requires to go behind the opponent, therefore on P1, so that wouldnt make no sense. And besides, a Guy ranked TGO in Pakistan and he cant play both sides ? That seems far fetched.
@@arthurdaffos1490 he always plays in 2p side. Dont get me wrong he is a great hei player.. but for u to be really good with mishimas you need to be able to do wave or light dashes in p1 side. Just like jdcr etc.
Honorable mentions: NOBI drag is more entertaining.. Joey fury Marduk is 2nd Eddy- spero gin and Abel del maestro Leo-way gamble and Bilal Josie- chickenmaru and black beard Bob- ROOKANG and NYC FAB Miguel-glaciating Eliza- joonya 20z Kazuya- kodee and Ryan hart Jack 7- Jackie tran, Saint, Joe crush Law- NYC FAB and RIP
I agree that Saint is the best Ganryu and JDCR is the best Armor King. That match they had as the echofox rematch was beautiful. But when it comes to Master Raven, I would argue Tissuemon as well. Shaheen has a lot of arguments here. Lowhigh, Gen, and you forgot AK. You can argue Saint with Jak. Yea, Bryan is definitely JimmyJTran. Jimmy gets the most out of the character. Josie would be Blackbeaed for me. Because Qudans is the greatest player of all time in Tekken, I have to give him D.Jin. it's just his character now.
That’s a good list, only thing I would contest probably is dvj = knee. Qudans is amazing with the character but Knee recently has shown that Dvj is a force to be reckoned with.
MMS please do a tier list of top tier w**re players. It will be great banter. (Gen dumped Fak and went straight for Feng 1sec after the patch was made)
@@Crisredfield24 i don't know if he still plays it competitively but i constantly see deathmatches between him and eyemusician on eyemusician's YT channel
For Anna, you haven't seen Qasim Mir. Same for ARC with Eliza, Ahsan Ali with Lei, Usman Ghani Nina, drag is Nobi, SA lost 10-0 vs Atif butt btw in Akuma mirror, Shahbaz Eagle Lily, Irtaza Xiayou, Qasim Mir Katrina and Josie,
Glaciating is a very good Miguel player too and has a different playstyle compared to Sephiblack. Look up Sephiblack vs Glaciating if you haven't yet, it's basically defensive Miguel vs aggressive Miguel :)
We r talking about high level play in tournaments not online. Unfortunately glaciating doesn’t compete as much as sephiblack and he only shine through online tournaments
2:35 ignoring Knee and TheJohn and focusing on defining who is better at x character, I would say priority is winning consistently, not maximizing move list. This is because maximizing move list is more like #1 creative player. Fundamentals and skill should not be excluded in the equation. The best player does not have to use the whole move list. Example: Who is the better basketball player, Michael Jordan or The Professor. The Professor knows way more tricks and can also perform all standard shots, but Michael Jordan will consistently beat everyone compared to The Professor. Even though The Professor has squeezed out almost every trick, the better player is the one who is consistently winning 99% of other players. In fact, I'd say even if Player A wins in a mirror match, but can't win consistently against random matchups and can't progress to finals in international tournaments, while Player B can use that character and consistently go to finals, I'd say Player B is the better player even though Player A is better in mirror match. As mentioned, The Professor uses every move list, but he's far from the best player, but you can call him the #1 creative player. Michael Jordan is clearly the better player even if you only limit Michael to 5 moves he'd still beat the professor.
honestly just frame James is pretty underrated imo. his law almost beat arslan and took a pretty one sided game against him. also joey fury probably deserves to be mentioned for his Marduk
Ok, he's picking the #1 dedicated/creative player, not #1 player. The #1 player is the one who wins most consistently, like how Michael Jordan can beat The Professor even if we limit Jordan to only 5 moves even though the Professor has more tricks than any NBA player in the world. Obviously The Professor is the #1 creative player, but Jordan clearly is the better player. The better player doesn't need to use the entire move list at all. TMM said he excludes fundamentals when deciding the #1 player, but that is only for the #1 creative player. Fundamentals is not an excluding factor at all when ranking simply the better player. The better player is the one who consistently wins everyone.
marduk is obviously 'energiemarduk'. obviously and leroy is chikurin, AK for shaheen and justframesjames has the best law. For akuma its definitely atif butt.
Kunimitsu: Ao Negan: DRX Infested Shaheen: Lowhigh won EVO, there's no contest Lars: Daddyking Lee: Lee Sam Katarina: Galgonge Claudio: Mulgold Asuka: SLine Miguel: Rancafe Feng: Hao (this guy’s definitely not as good as Knee, but he’s a Feng specialist who Knee learned some tech from) King: Taiheiyo Nina: Nina Assassin Julia: Rangchu (probably not as good as Jeondding) Lydia: DRX Infested
@@G-R-IE-IE-D Yeah, there are a bunch of tournament-level players in Korea’s online Tekken scene that people don’t know about due to the language barrier. They’re perfectly capable of beating anyone in the world but are slept on because they don’t enter international competitions.
I love how there's such a diverse list of names... BUT THEN THERE'S KNEE. But for real, Knee's Tekken is just unreal, he might not be the best on all characters, but he is good enough to bring them out at any moment and most likely win, it's insane.
Knee in long sets wins 90% of the time in mirror matches using the other guy's mains. I've seen so many of his mirror matches against the so-called top character players. They all tend to lose to Knee.
I think AK should be a notable choice for Shaheen. He's the only Shaheen player who's gotten far in every evo tournament he's in. So I think he should be recognized
Yeonarang is indeed the best Hwo player nowadays, but the best Hwo player *ever* is Asellas. Too bad he doesn't play the game anymore, the guy was a beast with Hwo. Very unique playstyle, using Hwo tools very creatively and in an efficient manner, he could use more than d3,4. Very different from the playstyle of the players mentioned on the video. He also had a very good Lili and Jin. His Lili has taken down other legendary players and their signature characters, like onlypractice's Nina. And his Jin, eyemusician's Yoshi, so... Asellas wasn't just a Hwo god, he was a very, very solid and top notch Tekken player. I hope he's doing well and kicking.
I mean you could say that but Yeonarang has 3 hours of footage of fighting Asellas and he won the majority of the matches....the first 11 matches were Yeonarang 10 - Asellas 1....
@@DEANDRE_DTS yeah but like I said, he destroyed kelthu in the mirror match. Better fundamentals, movement, mixups, and overall a less predictable utilization of hwoarang's toolkit. I would agree with what you said if you were talking about Rest though. He lost the mirror match but has a super creative playstyle with crazy combos
He is, and embodied my Xiaoyu watching him. As "best" Xiaoyu, I'd have a different thought tho. yOReDz and Nejima Kidori. yOReDz has extremely fluid set ups, and Kidori has one of the most solid Xiaoyus I have ever seen. There is Wecka, Irtaza Pasha, imo Cuddle is more known as a better Alisa than Xiao... UYU as of now, there are better Xiaoyus than hers. They are all amazing players tho not taking that away from them! Just the word "best" is a bit sensistive.
I don't think gm for Lee is controversial at all tbh, you could maybe say father is better right now but gm is the goat as far as Lee is concerned no contest
@@hallwayraptor2036 false if my reputation was that bad my stream wouldnt be pulling the numbers and views and support that it does. I literally have one of the best streams in usa for tekken support wise
I love that there is such a diverse list of names in the Tekken community. All of these names I recognize and have fond memories of their past matches.
Multi should be mentioned as well. One of the best Bryan in the world, lot of complex execution of this character are his staples.. just watch his highlights in his yt channel.
@@Section8dc Devilster will never be top CBM unless he attends global competitive play. Not to mention CBM beats him in a mirror for sure, he always had bodied jins
Nice topic. Kinda weird no one has talked about this. AK from the Philippines has to be one of the top 2 Shaheen players in the world. About Lee, I would say Lmyourfather is the best Lee player rn after placing 17th in Evo. Besides, FightingGM has probably retired now. In addition, FightingGM participated in more tourneys than Lmyourfather so it isn't really fair to compare GM's past tourney achievements vs Father, as Father competed rarely in tourneys even in Korea
I'm fkn amazed that you as a Kazuya main don't even bother to mention Crazydongpal while fully knowing of him and his capabilities as a Kazuya player.. Not only is he still playing while Choksae doesn't but he's imo THE best Kazuya with his crazy creativity and control.. He was Choksaes mentor and it fkn shows so put some respect on it ffs! Embarrassing....
