@@m4ster311 movement speed, movement speed while scoped, and an increase in the time it takes for movement inaccuracy to decrease while scoped. Before the nerf you could fucking jiggle peek with the awp while scoped and hit your shot. KennyS was famous for doing it

@@psych0CS2 They also nerfed/fixed the movement speed when switching from a regular scoped in strafe into crouched scoped strafe. A player used to be able to crouch strafe while scoped in at the same speed in which they were strafing standing up while scoped in. That was what made awping so much easier before 2021 in my opinion because an awper would have an amazing peeker's advantage.

I was just going to say how Jame saves the awp a lot so he has the awp in rounds where others wouldnt. This would probably effect this stat and cause it to be higher than it would be. I am not sure if you can use this stat as the only factor for best sniper.

@@meatsheets him saving a lot also results in more kills (exit kills) helping even more for this stat

It was op gun. After nerf he got outclassed. Yes he had skills, but always was low iq player. If Kenny's ever had high ingame iq he would have been like Simple.

"Valve changing the awp to nerf kennyS" is one of the most braindead takes I've ever chanced upon, rivaling that of "the earth is flat". You must be brain numbingly biased to think that valve actually did that

I think it would be fair to only include rounds where a player has the AWP (bought or picked up) but in HLTV statistics all rounds of the game are considered UPD: though, that would skew the stats heavily for riflers who rarely play AWP only out of necessity

No this only counts kills per round _when using an AWP_ based on how he described it

@@zfjames nah it's literally avg awp kills per round including you having the gun or not having it. That's why they have these lower numbers.

@@CapeSkill I mean he did explicitly state that it is AWP kills per round when they have the AWP.

I don't know if it further increases the conversation for anyone. It mainly indicates that if a player has the awp less often, he will have a lower awp kpr. Let's say you're an awper for a team that prioritizes playing inferno. Your team doesn't get to pick sides, so will probably start tr. It's a team decision that buying awp or even playing if getting it from some ct isn't worth it, and rifles and smg are better for the t side. Naturally, your awp kpr will go down. Now, if you're on a team that is likely to drop you an awp no matter what side or even how economically safe it is(meaning your name is Jame), your awp kpr will probably be higher. S1mple, Zywoo and even FalleN and Dev1ce among others are way more likely to play with something other than an awp than Guardian, KennyS or CeRq ever were. And they're also better awpers imo. Just not a good stat to use as decisive in the discussion. Also don't know how it didn't click with the person who made the video that's how the stat works as soon as they saw that coldzera, a main rifler and decent secondary awper had such a low number.
