2016 Thunder. KD and Russ took down the 67 win Spurs in round 2, winning 2 road games against a team that only lost once at home all year, and then were up 3-1 on the 73 win Warriors (and were DOMINATING them to take that lead). If they would’ve won that title (beating LeBron in the Finals), it would’ve been one of the greatest title runs of all time
@cole8957

Yeah, if Kawhi didn't get hurt they had a legit chance at beating the 73 win Warriors. A starting five of Tony Parker, Manu Ginobili, Kawhi Leonard, LaMarcus Aldridge and Tim Duncan with Kawhi at his absolute prime was amazing. They also had solid bench pieces like Diaw and Patty I think. Absolute monster team. They won 67 wins and were a #2 seed lol

An offensive powerhouse filled with young stars, the 1994-95 Magic were one of the best NBA teams to not win a title. The two leading scorers for the team that season were 22-year-old Shaquille O’Neal and 23-year-old Anfernee Hardaway. The team also featured Horace Grant, Nick Anderson, and Dennis Scott. Orlando went 57-25 in the regular season, which was good enough for first place in the East. Orlando made it to the NBA Finals but was stopped by Hakeem Olajuwon’s Rockets as Houston swept the series.

The 2016 Spurs are definitely my pick. 40-1 at home, losing only to the 73-9 Warriors. They were blowing teams out at the same scale as the Warriors. Only lost to the Thunder in the 2nd round due at least partially to questionable officiating in key moments.

LA Clippers and Kawhai Leonard the last 4 years haven’t made one single finals appearance. When they joined together PG13 and Leonard everyone expected them to be in the finals and that was like that last 4 years and they have failed over and over and over again. They had the most talent and depth and they added more talent and still have failed to make it to the finals. That has to be the most disappointing team not to make a single finals appearance in 4 years embarrassing. Still even now they have them as the favourites with Denver and they had them favourites every year previously and every time they either get injured or lose a 3-1 lead in the bubble where their best player Leonard had 14 points in a game 7. The media blamed PG13 and now Doc Rivers for their failures and injuries but it’s been 4 years of consistent failures and disappointments for me they have been by far the best team to never win the chip and not even make one single finals appearance huge L

This list was lowkey horrible. There's a big difference with the best teams to never win VS your personal favorite teams to never win. Those bulls and Pacers were not championship level teams because they lacked the offensive fire power. They were great defensively and great to watch because they were very competitive teams. The clippers were a highlight reel team, everyone and I mean EVERYONE knew something was missing from that team which is why a successful season for them would be considered a WCF appearance which they never achieved with CP3 and Blake.
