Randy please the % depreciation of the exchange rate of GHS (as a quote currency) as against the USD (as base currency) is 74% as I type this message. I use 3.90 as the initial/old rate and 15.00 as the new rate (i.e., using today's rate of 15.14 on Google) On the other hand, the USD appreciated against the GHS by whooping 284% since VP Dr. Bawumia took over the affairs of Ghana government with his master President Nana Addo. It's time they stopped throwing dust into the eyes of my fellow beloved Ghanaians

@@servant1tv765 It's the height of wickedness by Nana Addo and gang wanting to impose their puppet on Ghanaians. Now it's impossible for them to hide how badly they managed the economy. They want to retain Bawumia for clean up, but God would not let it happen.

Suffice to say the global economy was not the same under Mahama as it is under Nana Akufo-Addo. Mahama couldn’t manage the economy of Ghana when there were no external shocks, how then do you think he would’ve performed given the current global factors? So far Mahama has demonstrated that he lacks new ideas, has no viable economic solutions, and he can’t be trusted. Can’t even explain his 24- hour economy.

Please, President J.A.K. actually knocked off 10,000 (i.e. 4 zeros, NOT 3) and he started the new Cedis (now GHS or GHC) with 0.93 to the 1 USD(i.e., 9300 cedis was equal to 1USD) after the passage of the redenomination policy from July 2007. He actually ended with GHc1.20 to 1USD by the time he exited office in Jan' 2009.
Ignorant NDC don’t even know that speculating of foreign currencies is significantly impacting the exchange rate, besides significant importation by Ghanaians.

Speculation of foreign currencies and importation was introduced to Ghana about seven years ago, right? The economic messiah didn't know what speculation and importation does to the exchange rate at the time he was lecturing about the exchange rate. Lets be serious for once
