Before the video even started I knew that inner Agent 3 was going to be the hardest boss. I think no one would say that inner agent 3 was not the hardest boss in the game
I'm actually the first person. Honestly, the difficulty for me stayed the same but switch the Sanitized Octo Samurai with Inner Agent 3. Btw probably too late but I'm getting Splatoon 1 for my Wii U because the eShop is going down and I've played the 2nd and 3rd games just so I can see how hard the first game bosses are.
@@nxnato Its simply Alex but I plan on changing it so it matches my profile name on my other Splatoon games. I'll send you my discord link (if you have discord) and continue from there. If not I'll find another way.
I hadn’t beaten inner agent 3 and it was a few days until splat 3 came out so I became dedicated, and later beat inner agent 3 and reached level 69 in splat 2. Nice
Tbh, Big Man with full upgrades definitely deserves to be on the very bottom of the list. There's an upgrade that lets you see exactly which silhouette is him and you can beat him incredibly easily and very fast. And yes, because Big Man is the last boss before you get to the end game area, it is completely possible to get that upgrade your first playthrough.
Oh that's not normal??? Yeah my first playthrough I had every upgrade in the game before fighting him and since I struggled with Frye so much I was scared to fight him but I beat him first try in under a minute! I've always been so confused why everyone found him hard I didn't even realise the silloughette thing was an upgrade I feel,,, less good at the game now
to be fair that might be the point of the Octobot King L3, a piece of old tech that's long outstayed its welcome and needs to be replaced, hence why instead of it being the final boss it's the first boss
I think it is totally fine and I think it’s just a really good psych out just being like nope we’re not gonna make you fight him at the final boss again it’s a new villain instead of the same thing that we did for two games yeah Very needed
They did a little poke at the the fanbase with him and when he says he didnt steal it it's like nintendo said "Don't worry, we're not doing this again"
7 for me lmao. Braindead for me now but it was hard back then (AND I was a sticks player so i actually think that was pretty impressive for a 7yr old sticks player)
Okay I mostly agree with you on most of them, but I think that big man was really easy (I had most of my hero gear upgraded btw) Also when I completed Splatoon 2 I wanted the hero shot for online battles, but I only had trouble on one boss, the octo shower IT LITERALLY TOOK ME 30M! But I agree that it wasn't that hard with the charger.
i remember getting 1000% on story mode and let me tell you. that octo shower was EXCRUCIATING with the herobrush. i didn't even use the brush so it wasn't even a good reward.
Now lets imagine how hard the expansions for Splatoon 3 will be, especially since we've had time to get better or master the new controls and abilities. The Splatoon campaigns are underrated and actually are my favorite part of Splatoon
I kinda hope the DLC for 3 will contain both an expert route for high skilled players and a casual path for people who just wanna goof about like me. :3
Uh, since i dont have side order yet, it definetly kinda and kinda doesn't have a casual route and expert route. nintendo should make a no color chip run available
I think DJ Octavio’s battle in Splatoon 3 isn’t meant to be hard- that’s the point of it. It’s just meant to show the player that yes DJ Octavio has lost his touch and he’s practically not a threat anymore :D
Yes, plus it’s the the first boss, some ppls first splatoon game is splat 3, not even that possibly their first ever game is splatoon 3! It can’t be too difficult at all aswell as if you’re experianced you can breeze through it and get into the game it doesn’t matter I think it’s funny they also kept him in, I feel like they could do it every game as a running gag,
Kinda irrelevant, but I honestly love Octo Samurai. Even after Splatoon 3 story mode, he's still been a favorite of mine. Also, Callie is my favorite idol from the series, and I love the Octoboss more now that I know he's also a Callie fan🐙💙
You don’t know how much times I had to do the second phase of the Mr.Grizz boss battle. Every time you had to jump to get the golden egg I kept dying in the fuzz around it. I was so relived when I finished the boss battle
LOL I was the EXACT SAME with Frye and Tartar I'm newer to the franchise and just recently unlocked Inner Agent 3, played it and got clapped 5 five times. Then I gave up. Lol. And I'm STILL getting clapped every time I try! Also, I love your videos! Keep it up!
I think for the Splatoon 2 boss, they should've at least had brainwashed Callie shooting ink at you or even shooting a barrage of specials at you like the stringray or somethin
I remember when I was trying to beat inner agent 3, I figured out that you can 1 cycle them on the first phase just by waiting by where they land after the inkjet
Congrats on getting 19k subs Nin10doland! I'm sure you will get 20k at the end of the year if not then at the beginning if 2022! I love your splatoon content a lot and have a nice day nin10doland!🥰❤💖
Nint10doland I 100% agree with inner agent 3 it was way too chaotic and difficult for me after one trying so hard I just gave up but if anything else Nintendo tryes to make it so hard to do in the splatoon series I'm going to try hard and beat it.
Difficulty wise I had (oddly enough) had trouble with the octo samurai, despite it only being the 2nd boss in Splatoon 2. I think this is because I was new to the series as a whole, and I think that circumstance could also be considered when eating bosses. Design wise I love Octo Maw:s microphone look and the idea of the shower. My favorite is by far Tartar. The music gives off great vibes and was insanely epic. I did struggle with at first but I felt accomplished when I finally beat it that gave me a feeling unlike any other boss or final boss for that matter.
Big Man was easily #19 for me. Just get the sensor upgrade and all the sudden his gimmik is irrelevent. No sensor? No problem. Just shoot everywhere indiscriminately and you'll get him eventually. I killed him in less than a minute on my first go. Edit: He forgot to mention that inner agent 3 has about 5 phases in and each one has a different special that can absolutly wreck you, 1st being inkjet (hard to hit and hits hard), 2nd being bubble (block your path and pose a threat everywhere), 3rd being autobomb launcher (you can't stay still and will get chip damaged to death), 4th is tenta missiles from a far off location (the very bane of splatoon itself), 5th is splashdowns (armored and fast). 5 whole flavors of death in a singular package with nearly perfect AI and unfair advantages including range, dps, unlimited ink, dodge rolls, and health.
I actually skipped actually doing the commander tartar fight when I first played Octo Expansion. When I went back to it to actually do it, it took me like 50 attempts 😅
Inner agent 3 was difficult, but as someone who beat it 28 times, eventually you just learn the patterns and stuff. After Alterna, while not a boss, was definitely more difficult for me, especially since it was harder to prepare for it. Also, I'd say the oven is easier than the octobot king l-3.
14:53 The weapon the game recommend was the Octo Brush to fight the Octo Oven XXL? I thought it was the Jet Squelcher. Not saying that it makes the battle easier, seeing as its been a while since I played that fight, but I'm confused.
I heard that, and I immediately thought, "You've gotta be fucking joking." And I kept thinking that on and on, wrong fact after wrong fact. I mean he legit called the Octomaw "Maws", so we were already off to a bad start.
Bro inner agent 3 is tryhards on crac(or with an aimbot machine) and with the ability to use their supers like 3 times at once if they want to. Now i see why we dont have single player turf war
Funnily enough, after clearing the Splatoon 3 hero campaign, I revisited the levels of Octo Expansion I didn’t clear without Marina’s help. The only boss I didn’t clear was the Octo Shower Supreme. It’s after beating it that I actually realized how tricky of a boss it was.
6:40 Actually beat the o to samurai in under a minute with fully upgraded dulies, and the splat curlings, but since you showed fighting the octo oven with the dulies I think I can say that the octo samurai is pretty easy
I would argue that Sanitized Agent 3 and Mr Grizz both belong higher on the list than you put them, and that each of the parts you said were easy, are not actually that easy. I struggled especially with the second half of the Mr. Grizz fight a LOT more than you gave it credit for.
I really have to disagree with Big Man being so high on the list. by that point in the campaign you SHOULD have upgraded your hero suit significantly. One of the upgrades (improved sensors) basically makes it the easiest fight in the game. The real Big Man is marked with a different color target, and inking that one instantly ends the phase. I can see it being difficult without that, but I honestly thought that it was supposed to be comedically easy the first time I fought him.
Still remember beating inner agent 3 on *handheld* at an airport. When I did I jumped up and said “YES!” And people looked at me like “tf is wrong with you”
i swear i was so intense in the inner agent 3 that i had to turn on the undertale music. THAT MEANS KEEPING MY MENTAL SANITY IN PLACE AFTER SCREAMING IN THE TOP OF MY LUNGS :)
Also inner agent 3 has (or had I haven’t played octo expansion in a while) an auto/seeker-bomb special, which is so overpowered even in online that very few weapons have it to the point where I rage quit so many times and only after +25 tries I finally beat it.
When i saw this video and a few weeks later got octo expansion when he made a lot of the bosses look harder than they were i thought inner agent 3 would be easy ........ its not it sucks
I'm 23. I've literally been playing video games since I was 2-3 years old. As you can imagine, I have played a LOT of video games in my time and have attempted and completed a lot of difficult challenges as well (Halo LASO, Zelda 3 heart, Re7 Madhouse, CoD zombies easter eggs solo, etc.) Inner Agent 3 is INCREDIBLY high on my "difficult bosses" list. I spent an entire evening trying to beat them, had to take a break and sleep it off, woke up and beat them within, like, an hour or two. Such an amazing boss fight.
I kept dying on the first jump in the third phase of Mr. Grizz’s fight. And after my first time of beating it I turned my tv to a different HDMI. I had to do it over again.
If you upgrade the hero sensor to be able to sense things in kid form and do the big man battle then the pink sensor indicates the real big man while the yellows indicate the fakes.
I remember fighting inner agent three and it took me 3 months to do it (mainly cause I set down my controllers and just sat in pain and agony) and when I finally got that stupid hair clip I was happy for a second and then never went back to the metro
2 things I got to say, 1: octo samurai ex is a remixed punch out fight. If you played any punch out game from the arcade games, to MT/MD to snes to wii, OS ex is like those guys. Instead of a star punch you got an explosion, instead of a jab you get a love tap. Like punch out boxers landing a hit on octo samurai he’ll get his attack interrupted. What I’m saying is that octo samurai is a boss that may seem difficult but has greater flaws than his bade game counter part. 2; if your ever interest in a successor to inner agent 3 I recommend a hat in time for its first dlc, theres a boss that’ll remind you if IA3
I decided to sit down and finally beat inner agent 3 the week before splat on 3 came out. I think I got it on my second try that day. I was prepared for the long haul.
I agree with you with everything especially Inner agent 3. It took 2 weeks plus i rage quit sooo many times to the point i had to really concentrate, and be on my toes. Beating inner 3 was sooo satisfying and i was happy. But still to this day i habe trouble defeating inner 3
wow... i beat octo samurai in like 15 seconds, it's easy, the roller and some weopons might be hard, but if you use a completally upgraded hero shot, it's easy
Tip for big man boss go into squid form then look for the red mark then repeat that process again until he’s done for.(you don’t have to go into squid form if you upgrade your armor)
I think the fist thing with dj Octavio is funny because he trys to punch you and you launch them back and punches him self. But I don't think that they are going to drop the fists🤣🤣🤣
Big man can be literally the easiest fight in the series as once you upgrade your gear to the point were you can see things of interest without having to be in squid/octo form the fight becomes trivialised as it doesn't count the clones of big man as enemy's so you can beat the fight really quickly as get straight up told were the real big man is.
