This is my first theory video and the first video of cartoons. So if it's bad that's my excuse. Today we took a deep dive into a relatively minor character to find out his backstory.
i actually thought he isn't the real king of ooo, but a wax statue of a long gone king of ooo. people came to the wax museum to marvel at this figure of a king, and it came to life, slowly juiced up by the adoration energies. it then came to, and walked out of the abandoned museum with hazy impressions of decades of people coming to look at it in awe, but no one around to explain that it's just a wax statue
It took me a while to realize that, as Marceline's singing Everything Stays, that weird pile of walking gloop in the montage is actually the melted King of Ooo.
I haven’t really thought about Toronto’s and the king of oos relationship before, but this theory makes a lot of sense. Though, I don’t think I could buy that the king of oo used to be the king of thieves. He’s just too much of a goofball, not to mention he has no magical abilities to cast such a complicated and specific spell as one that keeps all thieves out.
I didn't do a whole lot of research on the video and I'm not super proud of it, I made it as an application to cartoon universe when they needed new personalities. But yeah it did kinda stick out to me. And to answer your comment about the koo being the king of thieves. I don't think that he cast that spell I think that he would have hired a wizard to do it, but I don't believe that it's even close to being true anyways, kinda just a weird brain worm I had.
King of OOO has some kind of charisma energy similar to Martin where Martin taps people he manipulates, King of OOO does some other stuff i forgot because I havent watched AT for like 7 years by this point
In Polish dub I remember clearly that he was at least once called Caramel King, I always thought that he was simply an exiled candy kingdom citizen who decided to be a king, probably one of PB's "failures", that's why I was never surprised why he melted
Spot-on analysis of the KOO and Toronto relationship. I agree it's pretty clear, from the episodes we see them in. "King Of Ooo" is obviously a marketing scheme; he was apparently claiming a vaguely kind-of religious "kingdom" cult authority, from the episode with Tree Trunks and the fact that she stans KOO. I doubt the King of Thieves thing is related, but that's just my guess.
My thoughts were that he is a wax golem that was abanden by his creater and over time he developed his own personally but wishes to be loved so he seek to be royalty
for all the new people being randomly reccomended this crappy video: For one thanks! For two I am going to make more content like this, but not right now. I've been very busy over the past two months and haven't been able to make any scripted videos. I'll probably start making videos about super smash bros. since I've been into that and after that I'll make some videos that have been cooking up in the back of my head for a while. Probably having to do with the Owl House and Scooby Doo Mystery inc. And a bit more Adventure time Again thanks!
The chest in his chest could be him clutching the chest in his last moments in a statement for his greed that even in his last moments monetary wealth was most important. The king of Oo directly doesn’t seem to have much magical or martial ability to warrant to thief class which could have the ability of thievery not just conning people.
I always thought they were a "corrupted" finna and Jake not literally but metaphorically because their designs are barely similar but i think thats supposed to play into how different they are as well and their dynamic 2 best bros one human(oid) and one is a type of animal but instead of having a living bro who tries to keep you on a good path like Jake the king of ooo has someone who didn't really care about him he cared about what he could get out of him which is nothing like Jake and wasn't Jake a their growing up? He was at the very least rebellious and causing mayhem before he calmed down so I think this is supposed to parallel the dynamic they COULD have had
This makes a lot of sense. What if he had put that skeleton there to pretend he wasn't the king of thieves? After all who wants to be known as a thief when you want to steal? People would hear the title and see it coming. You would need a scapegoat.
I was surprised to see how little subs you have after watching g this video. Thought you were a big theory/commentator yt channel, you honestly have the voice for it
Wow! Ik I'm a little late here but I think that's a fantastic theory! I can definitely see the King of Ooo as the King of Thieves. I followed your theory but I'd add that he maybe succeeded as the King of Thieves before Toronto met him. Embellishing on what you mentioned, he was definitely charismatic but hes also not bright. Idealistic, maybe but not bright. Maybe enough to earn the title King of Thieves but not necessarily enough to rule them. One other thing I'd like to add- maybe someone else did, Idk- but Tree Trunks did give all of her wealth to the King of Ooo, at some point. I'd say by himself, he probably wasnt so responsible but w Toronto's influence, he was a better manager. Aside, whenthe catalyst comet is speaking to Finn, there is a reference to him as Power, which I thought was interesting given his, well, seeming lack of. Ik he had just usurped the candy kingdom but... Power, as the King of Thieves, makes so much more sense. Lastly, KOO makes one more appearance in later series but in a Fionna & Cake episode- the mummy. Steals their gold and preaches about not letting strangers into your home lol but we do see KOO in this way in an active mode of theft. Touched by the City of Thieves and an impoverished upbringing, I think it makes sense. Bonus: he had some huge confidence to be calling himself the KOO lol
I guess he is somehow the creation of Bubblegum , maybe banana split or something, cause he regenerated and seems a lot of more like smashed bananas . I mean, maybe Bubblegum tryed to create a good family one more time and then give up .
Ok everything she makes, as in living creations is candy based, even that sour lemon drop. (Which, big mistake cause they are crazy) anyway if Bubblegum made that wax ball (which she didn't) she would have stated it.
you are literally rejecting my thoughts for no reason whatsoever. Just because you don't think so doesn't mean it's not true. In every sentence, you try to point out to me that she didn't do it without giving me the facts. I think you'd better stop writing here.
Sorry I'm late to party, but I have a point to make, I don't think your point that dungeon gold counts as theft is accurate. Your theory is plausible, but it's also possible that plunder and theft are different
Y'know I really want to, but I don't know if I'm that good at it, plus I don't have any way to watch the show right now so it would take a while. But if I were to I've wanted to look into why the lich turned into a sweet P for a while
@@Bluewithadot you dont need to make another theory but if you do or just wanna watch some shows you can go to soap2day.to but watch out for pop ups. you can also go to 123movies.com. so ya
