OSU just snagged an LB (position?) out of our backyard, Waco, Midway. Not to mention our QB commit a couple months ago. BU pitcher, softball, to OSU yesterday. We appear to be fertile ground ready for the picking.

I don’t get the Colorado hype either. That’s what I exactly thought about Oklahoma state too on the overhype, and Oklahoma state won 5 1-possession games last year including their bowl win against Texas A&M. Another team I thought who is overhyped is Kansas. I mean without Jalon Daniels for Kansas I don’t see 9 or 10 wins especially when Kansas has to improve on defense while they also don’t have an experienced backup qb like Jason bean at qb. It’s not mentioning that Kansas lost their OC to Penn state, and I know Kansas got Jeff Grimes as OC but is a terrible play caller.

I think for sure that Drew is going the Houston route. Even is A plays the 5 for only 2 min a game, we in essence have 3 centers, i.e., a little depth. On the other hand I’m thinking we could still pick up a portal or juco player, right. Or some 2025 h.s. Player could reclassify, a la Missi. The latter is totally pie in the sky but I doubt BU staff have totally closed the door on snatching a 3rd string center, if possible.
