Ok, so now that we are four seasons into the Overlord Anime, who do you think is the Strongest Guardian of them all?
Is it Shalltear? Demiurge? Cocytus? Or one of the Fiora twins?
Or let’s also include their overseer for the sake of discussion.

There's no such thing as the strongest individual in the New World. Everything has a counter and matchups depend on circumstances and preparation. Aura, as a beast tamer, is not individually the strongest but her pets give her unparalleled versatility and would tilt every matchup in her favor. It's also a moot point to discuss point blank combat strength. Different classes specialize in different things. No one is obligated to fight their enemy at their strongest. As a ranger, Aura has insane stealth and other NPCs can't even detect her if she doesn't want them to.

Shaltear may be the strongest Floor Guardian but Rubedo who is Albedos big sis is the strongest NPC period so much so You Can't Touch Me Sama Sebas creator the strongest player In the guild only had a 40% chance of victory against her

Gargantuan golem is a boss that has stats of 150 it required a party of Ains ooal gown players to defeat. Shalltear won't win despite her intelligence. She isn't equal to a party of players. It might look slow and clunky but it's abilities weren't specified it might be even actually faster than shalltear. It was limited to siege only because it was a boss monster. Ains once stated that gargantuan is the strongest if not for the limitation.

Sebas is stronger than Cocytus or Albedo when in his true form. The 3 of them are comparable otherwise. Mare, Shaltear.

I agree in a one on one AND head to head fight, Shalltear is probably strongest in this grouping. But as he points out, there's more variables than that in most fights. Like Aura and Demiurge would most likely lose such a fight, but if they could play to their strengths and summon up their Beasts and Demons respectively, they could in theory overwhel Shalltear in a longer fight. So it depends on circumstance.

Beasts and Demons don't work against Shalltear because she was designed to hard counter Ainz who literally is a type of summoner. She would only use those summons to heal back up to full hp.

he’s very versatile since he can become any supreme being so if he uses a being who counters his opponent he’s strong, but he’s only around lvl 85 on each so otherwise he’s weaker

@@huehue3592 Is it stated that he is at lvl 85 or 85% of their power? If we guess that the power increase rises with the level this would make a pretty big difference. On top of that being lvl 85 would mean not having access to the full arsenal of the copied being.

That's why I like the power system of overlord now sure nazarick is the strongest of the new world and the only beings who can give them some competition is the drangons and zesshi. But what makes it so interesting is thinking which being is the strongest in nazarick not counting touch me and rubedo. Like for just thinking of battles like if aura fought cocytus she would lose up close against cocytus but give aura her top 5 most powerful beast and her world item i think she can beat cocytus,mare,demiurge the only 2 guardians aura couldn't beat sure is albedo and shalltear. Albedo is to tanky for her and shalltear can heal the more damage she does. As for demiurge I feel he could beat anyone in nazarick not counting rubedo and touch me if he prep time because he is the smartest being in nazarick. Albedo,cocytus,sebas share a rock,paper,scissor relationship. Also pandors actor is the toughest to rank in strength because he can transform into any Supreme being but have only 80% of there power's. Also mare is the aoe damage dealer and arguably strongest in terms of physical strength. For all the beings in nazarick they have a strong chance in beating one another it just depends on the situation or location.

In season 2 episode 7 at 18:20, Sebas states that there are only 41 people stronger than him. So... Sebas is the strongest?

Depends how much stock you put into what is stated even about themselves as being fact. Specifically in talking about Sebes when he states that there are only 42 people in existence (the supreme beings themselves) that are stronger than him

shalltirs lance is what makes her trully devistating with the 1 to 1 heal to damage. albeto is a tank low damage op tho cycitus is a glass cannon massive damage but weak to damage. sebas is more midle ground good att and df but dought could inflict enuff to take shaltear down. and demiure stong with magic but think hed get wrecked by shaltier.

Shaltears main demerit is already self control Ainz would have beat her the same even without the mind fuck thing.If she had regular amnesia she would probably try to capture him for her sex dungeon and since he knew all her settings he would adjust strategy.

You just dumb... Demiurge is not strong, Shaltear can snap him real quick if she want, he is commander type guardian, he just using 7th floor Pop Monster to fight serious fight.. Shaltear is the most powerfull Floor Guardian, she can beat Ainz, but for deff, Albedo has the strongest Deff, but if you want to compare with Shaltear, only Sebas Tian Draconoid Form can compared to her, but if you want to know the STRONGEST, it Will be Rubedo. Even Ainz with all his best world Class item and equipment, he did'nt stand a chance against Rubedo, Touch Me can defeat Rubedo like Ainz can defeat Shaltear, with a lot of freakin world Class item needed... Light Novel - 1500 Players attack The pleades is butchered,Cocyutos smashed, and 7th floor is burning, but they can't pass 8th floor...

Is it a 20% power deficit or a level deficit? Difference is pretty big tbh. I think he definitely has the potential to be the strongest. In any matchup. What keeps him from copying Rubedo and Gargantua? Even at 80% power a hard counter is still a hard counter...
