Fun fact: PlaceFace was the Place holder of the characters during the development of the game, that's why Baldi says "This is where it all began" for a split second before getting teleported. If you go into the game files, you can mod the game to put in Placeface who wanders around in the game, That's why you saw him in some mods like the Trolling Mod.
The boots simply just stop you from being push by Gotta Sweep, 1st Prize, and Mrs. Pomp when used. When they go over your screen a second time, it means they are no longer in effect. (Keep in mind that Mrs. Pomp won’t give up trying to take you to her class and will keep on coming back to you).

Big Ol' Boots Usage When right-clicking with this item selected, the boots will slowly wave over the screen from top to bottom. This ability runs out after 60 seconds, where the boots are then shown waving from the bottom back to the top. While Big Ol' Boots is in effect, the player can move freely in some occasions: Gotta Sweep and 1st Prize will pass through the player, so they will not collide with both said characters. The player can move at normal speed on conveyor belts regardless of the direction. The player is not affected by Cloudy Copter's wind. Whirlpools will not pull the player. Grappling Hosts will not pull the player in the direction it was shot. The player will not be dragged around by Mrs. Pomp for being late at her class. The player will not be able to ride merry-go-rounds. However, even when its ability is still in effect, walking on stationary Gotta Sweep still slows the player down being.

WD-NOSquee is useful: Using WD-NoSquee on one of these objects will make them silent. That way, Baldi will not know which door or locker the player opened, and therefore will not come to their location.
Baldi has a tier list of important sounds, if you open a door while Baldi is chasing the clock, because the door is on the minimum tier of sounds, he will ignore it
In case u don't know what the big ol boots even do they prevent all characters and treadmills from affecting your movement such as 1st prize, gotta sweep, cloudy coppter and Mrs pomp when she drags you to her class if you dont show up in time but only those characters specifically and factalty name tag prevents any character from interacting with you not including baldi, 1st prize and the test probably becuase 1st prize and the test are robots and you were not wearing the name tag before baldi chased you which makes sense anyway I'd rank both of those items one tier higher then what you put them at keyin.

In Alarm Clock, due to the update of BB+ and BBCR (CR - Classic Remastered), you can now set the timer by clicking on it after placing it down. To confirm the setting, just leave it on your desired setting. It can be set in a sequence of 15, 30, 45, and 60 seconds. When time reaches 0, the arrow will point at 60 and Baldi will go to where the Alarm Clock is. Note that if you place the Alarm Clock in the classic version of Baldi's Basics. The timer cannot be set and default time is 40 seconds.

Boots is not F tier. Boots is at least B tier. IT SAVES YOU FROM ANYTHING THAT SLOWS YOU/ MOVES YOU. It can even allow you to walk normally on travellators, first prize, sweeping time… :)
Heres some tips: 1.principals keys is also used by Chalkes and mrs pomp 2.Nosquee is used to not let baldi here you 3. Big oi boots are used to be prevented from : Gotta sweep, first prize, angered mrs pomp,and maybe others and cloudy copter 4. Usless tape is used in principals office and in the corner cantene in classic, after ,that it will make baldi go to the location and cant here ypur doors. It can be used whit quarters btw :D 5.clocks are the same whit tapes 6. You dr reflex chalks and cloudy copter

I like the wd-no squee it is one of my favourite items but the baldi anti hearing and disorienting tape is heavily Underrated as baldi almost got me when i was in detention i used the tape and baldi ran away

Fun Fact: the guy you called, calm cool collected baldi is called tutor baldi, and after the "oh hi welcome to my schoolhouse" animation plays, and before baldi gets angry, this is the baldi that they use. He's just the baldi that stands in the hallway and gives you a shiny quarter. And he tells you how to use the quarter. You actually have seen this in an old mod where you made an army of small and big playtimes, and gotta sweeps. 😃👍
The Dangerous Teleporter comes in handy, it's used to get out of sticky situations like Baldi and Playtime, it's also used in the party style ending to beat it quickly.

The second time it appears is when it has wore off. There's even a poster that hints to the item's function, and it reads "ALL JANITORS MUST WEAR BOOTS WHEN SWEEPING"
Baldi's Least Favorite Tape can be used in the event you end up getting detention. Just pop it in the player, and baldi will forget where he heard the sound.. grab some dirty chalk erasers in case it doesn't work.

To get the true BadSum, all you need to do is zip up the game files and copy it to somewhere else, open it, and run it. If it doesn't work, copy it to another computer that does not have steam.

The big 'ol' boots protects you from principal for 20 seconds. Also mystmans brother made a baldi character in a secret room. Baldi is a human. Where is joe? Where is cloudy copter? And also bladder? Chalkles my boi. And we can't forget about reflex boi. and Johnny??
Beans was also useful because even though he can splits gums at you, he can also splits gums at other characters like: Playtime, Baldi,... Making them much slower

Hey you forgot a character: Chalkles ! I would rank him B because I kinda like that character, but all he really does is slowly materialises himself in a classroom and once he gets solid, he just fly fast in the classroom and traps the player in the classroom so he can't escape and it's really annoying and dangerous when Baldi is in that same room...
I'm surprised the tier list didn't include Cloudicopter which is another obstacle that the big o boots will be most useful against especially in long hallways. Also the safety scissors can also free the player if they get caught by Bean's gum spit
Null actually is the one trapped. He just wants you to quit the game since its good for both of null and the player. At the start he was calm but now hes just aggressive because you still didn't quit the game.
I'm noticing in a lot of videos, keyin is clueless about the big ol' boots, what they do is that any character that can push you or grab you (1st prize and gs) will be unable to move you, as hinted by the "remember to always wear big ol' boots when sweeping" poster, which sounds useless until first prize pushes you into baldi
