The reason Zemo is helping them (and the reason why he shot the scientist, is because he does not want any more super-soldiers made. He explained it in CA: Civil War when he killed the frozen super-soldiers (he said "what, did you think I wanted more of you?" when Cap, Bucky and Iron Man walked into the missile silo).
0:54 the super soldiers do age, Captain America and Bucky didn't age because they were keeped in ice. That's why Steve Roger was an old man at the end of Endgame, because he went back to the 1940s and lived his life with Peggy. Isaiah became a super soldier in the 1950s and has been living the whole time until now, so he is old.
It's funny how the show points out the whole time how's that being biased can led to the worse,but people while watching it is terribly biased... The whole thing about Sam "negotiating" with a supremacist was going nowhere. What was he gonna say? "Oh,sure,you need to surrender and go to jail for a life time"?? And this being said by someone who not only broke several international laws in the last three days but also who broke out of jail and never paid his sentence?? "Sir this bank can't help you, because you are supposed to be in jail"...🤦🏻♂️ "Captain America is for the people,you can't put your emotions first"(have any of both EVER watched captain America?? His whole plot is putting his emotions first and taking the worse decisions because of that) If Walker acts by the book "he's so wrong",if he follows the way he feels "he's wrong"... Plus, Steve used to hit people way worse,and not supersoldiers,he literally kicked a guy on the chest sending him like 40ft against a wall,and then broke someone's neck with his shield before kicking him as well...🤷🏻♂️ People is selectively blind.
John Walker is the best, fastest and strongest Super Soldier. If it was me Bucky aka serial killer would have went to prison the day he broke his parole conditions. People forget if it wasn’t for John Bucky would be rotting in a prison with the rest of the serial killers. If it wasn’t for John and Lamarr the flag smashers would have murdered them on those trucks. The disrespect for an actual real soldier needs to stop cuz Steve isn’t a real soldier he didn’t pass boot camp and he didn’t earn the rank of Captain like John did. The title Captain America is made up by the government he’s just Steve to me. I know John wouldn’t have lied to Tony about who murdered his parents like Steve did he’s a fake captain and a fake friend
