He's definitely obsessed with dissection and experimentation he doesn't even know he's a sadist it seems he's desensitized and if he does he doesn't care but science is not secondary his reason d. Is to dissect and experiment not just purly to inflict pain that's the picture I get but just an opinion of my perspective.
@@eerooney9343 I share this thought, too. Poor Nemu! And let's not forget about Uryu's grandfather... Really, I can't stand Mayuri in the series he's too evil with his means =(
Enrakyoten, as well as the other family zanpakutos so far mentioned, Shinken Hakkyoken of the Ise clan, and Muramasa, believed to be the Kuchiki family zanpakuto, all share a mirror/reflection theme, mirroring other zanpakuto abilities, reflecting godly powers, and binding opponents through reflective surfaces, respectively. It's just a little bit of lore. BTW, I got this info from Reddit, no way could I have realized this deep stuff by myself
You should do a history of the origin of the soul king. Honestly this guy has an orochimaru vibes to him that might rival his own. And his sword is interesting.
erik bray Yes there is (kinda) if I remember correctly a long time ago the real world, Hueco mundo and soul society didn’t existed, it only existed one world in which it’s inhabitants were immortal (again kinda it isn’t clear if they died and immediately resurrected or if they simply were souls), one day the first hollows appeared and started to eat the people of this world killing them, this created a pit that would become hell, eventually one person started to hunt and killed the hollows this guy was the soul king, he destroyed their souls (the same thing Quincys do, so in a way the soul king was the first Quincy) and this also made the pit of hell bigger, some time latter 5 inhabitants of this world (the ancestors of the 5 great noble clans) came together with a plan to create a world for the hollows separated from the souls that lived in this world, they created a ritual with the soul king in which he would sacrifice his consciousness to become the cornerstone of the soul flow, in other words they created the cycle of life-death, and also created the soul flow which is how souls go from the real world to soul society or hueco mundo (or hell if the soul is extremely evil) and back again to the world of the living . But the five ancestors also mutilated the corpse of the soul king in fear that he would one day awake, some souls have fragments of the soul king (mainly the fullbrings, but some shinigamis have also fragments like Rangikuo and parts of the soul king like Ukitake). The soul king knew this would happened (he had the same power as Ywbach, the almighty) so he created his “son” Ywbach in order to take revenge on the noble houses, the shinigami and soul society.
@@INBCPC1994 I don't think Soul King created Juha Bach for revenge or something. It was mentioned that he foresaw what would happen with the ancient world and thus allowed his body to be the nexus for soul flow and separate worlds. Juha Bach might have come into existence as a glitch in system who just possessed the power of almighty and soul king's genetic material.
Sarthak Giri Maybe? The thing is that the explanation is really vague, the way I interpreted it is that he was pissed at the nobles because they chopped his limbs off, so he created Ywbach to get revenge but it can also be interpreted the way you say. The novel is really good but in some places is so freakin vague like for example we know almost nothing of the fifth noble clan, we only know that the reason they wanted to separate the worlds was to put a “lid” on top of the “pit” that is hell. But we don’t even know the name of the clan lol, maybe if the new anime has an amazing reception they’ll go on and animate the novel or maybe a sequel in which they explain things a little better.
@@INBCPC1994 The fifth clan is really a mystery.I mean why try to put a lid on the pit called hell. Is the purpose of maintaining separate worlds also to do from imprisoning someone in hell someone who might be a threat to all existence?
I cant speak to my friends about bleach...I know too much and it scares them off the anime, but I come here and Im legit having conversations with you during your videos my dude, been watching for a while and I would like to say my love for Bleach died 2 years ago, last year you brought it back and now all this crazy stuff is happening so I would like to say thank you for re igniting my love for Bleach!
I love Tokinada and how he is written, it's like he has what Aizen lacks of which is story and past, and a better undertanding of the character but at the same time he lacks what makes Aizen so iconic and memorable. I'm not trying to make any less of the two characters, it's just a silly comparison I felt like doing, for me this are the 2 best main villains in the series, bc I don't consider Ginjo like an actual villain
@@nikkidee7464 I'm probably too late but skip the fillers first time around when ur done with all the canon eps then go back and watch zanpakuto rebellion and reigai filler. When ur done with everything then watch ep 228.
When they do bring back the anime that should do give this guy a spin-off filler are in the anime because we know when the Bleach anime comes back it's going to be a whole lot of chapters is going to be translated into episodes depending on how they do it they could do several chapters at once or just one chat over a long stretch 1 anime. Does this trick a lot is one piece and people have called them out on it but when peaches are completely different creature but I think if they ever going to do a mini filler Arc with multiple episodes to fill up some space that you use these light novels like what they did Naruto did the same thing and I would love to see this character animated because the way he is he so sadistic and dark you can be a very dangerous bad Guy.
I like and dont like tokindada The original gotei 13 was a gang of murderous thugs so it kinda makes since that the Og 13 and the nobles build thier comfort off deception and murder. Soul reapers do kill for a living, it makes since that they would embrace the darkness.
If the CFYOW is ever animated ,this guy would be the most despicable, hedonistic and sadistic villain to ever exist in bleach universe. But he is actually the representative of the original sin of soul society i.e the willingness to perform any horrible acts so that the 4 noble families will always stay in power.
@@hisokamorrow9867 Aizen had a reason for everything. This guy? He's soooo much more like Tenzen from Basilisk. And if you know about that guy... Even Tokinada probably can barely compare to him.
@@neilholden2071 yeah man, the VA they chose for him is AMAZING (Kenjiro Tsuda…did a bunch of other characters like Overhaul, Seto Kaiba, etc.) but imo his work for Tokinada is the best I’ve heard (and that’s saying a lot) so it HAS to be animated
kewin abea ehhh that’d be flogging a dead horse to be honest...he did quite a bit in the novel already there aren’t too many other ways he could evolve since he’s a rather static character. I think they should just include CFYOW as an OVA (which NEEDS to happen...especially with the voice actor they got sheesh)
Ngl I love Aizen and he probably is more evil than Ywhach but as far as human filth goes…….Tokinada take it easily. Like if you looked up the word “trash”, “filth” and “prick” in a dictionary he is the visual example for all of them. 🤣
@@jkillerlioncat324 I mean, his ability and how he messed with Ichigos mind is pretty evil, but his true intentions arent/weren't evil. He even said he felt sorry for Ichigo. Ginjo, Tsukishima, and the Fullbringers weren't evil. Just misguided and they were fueled by revenge.
@@lieanakifujin8882 it means greatest of all time. You should read light novels....Tokinada is mastermind who trained a beast like Hikone and planned things very carefully.
To be honest the way it's interwoven into the main storyline to me seems like weak writing and story telling. Like how can the guy who tousen despised just be unknown and not even ever show up until now? Many of these character's in cfyow are just tooooo convenient...
@@kronosleblu888 but nevertheless, you can't deny that it's still really interesting + it's world building which is always good for shonens. Bleach fans will definitely be pumped if CFYOW would be drawn in manga (but the chance of that happening is basically 0%)....
@@sternritter9788 exactly and with that 0% I rest my case and it proves my point about it being convenient. Unless the returning anime can pull a hollow out of a hat and do something with cfyow.
After reading the novel, he has become one of my favorite characters! I'm so glad we got a new high-level character . It'll be amazing to have this novel animated🔥especially with the great voice actor that's been chosen for him
@@VaporDreamCenter ??? ofc hes not "SS tier" anymore it's been 4 damn years 4 years ago we got speed byakuya lol there's no reason to say "im glad i don't like him because he's weak ingame" what kind of comment is this
@@Sandbeard no your assuming the reason i dont like him is because hes weak in game. I dont like him because tokinada is an asshole. I said im glad he isnt ss tier because i do not like him as a character in the manga do you get it.
Kuckiki adopted and married outside the nobility entirely, shinion is leaking members, Shiba fell from grace, this clan was assassinated by a member of the clan, and the last one we dont know about.
You know your a problem when Kisuke and Yoruichi span the entire work trying to assassinate you before succeeding. To be fair though they only did so because he knew too much regarding the horrific truth of Soul Society's origins and atrocities(atrocities they themselves undoubtedly partook in given they were/are assassins, you don't use professional killers to simply hunt down disorganized Hollows). Yoruichi made that coldly clear while Kisuke seemed more subdued in the aftermath. Tokinada is possibly one of the most sinister and entertaining villains of the series, purely nasty for fun while wanting to cause chaos and using his intimate knowledge of Soul Society's hypocrisies as nihilistic fuel.
Essentially, Tsunayashiro is the answer to the question of 'What would happen if the Joker from DC Comics were ever introduced to the world of Bleach'.
I am currently playing bleach brave souls and god damn. this man is the personification of sadistic and evilness. I kinda feel bad for Hikone because its like Grimmjow or Shuhei said (i dunno who of these 2 said this): He cant difference between good and bad
The light novel, "You Cant Fear, Your Own World" should atleast be cannon O.V.A. 1hr specials spilt into 3 parts. After Bleach TYBW arc ends. We fans will LOVE THAT!!
He's my favourite villain because he's the most realistic to our world. He comes from a wealthy powerful old family with many ties and pull. He's no different than the ones we have in real life. He can take jabs at folks like Shunsui, pushing Shunsui crosses the line. If he does, Shunsui will pay a and Tokinada will get off. He's the living embodiment of the wealth and elite in this real world, how much of the world is built by said folks, and how it's near impossible to eliminate said people with power like that. He's not the most powerful when compared to Yhwach or Aizen (as he can likely best the other villains, both canon and extracanonical/filter), but what he represents is the almighty power of wealth, influence, power and capital.
And most importantly, this is not Tokinada’s fault; if anyone is to blame, it would be the ancestors of the 5 Noble Clans, the Council of 46 and Ichibei in particular
He was stabbed to death by a vengeful assassin girl implied to be the daughter of two of the group of assassins whom Tokinada brutally slaughtered in vol. 1. Urahara and Yoruichi set it up not only because Tokinada is a dangerous megalomaniac but also because he knows too much about Soul Society's sinister origins.
@Kevin Byrnes The thing with both of them though is that because of their complexity it requires cleaner execution and delivery of the essence of their character, which due to time and health constraints I don’t think Kubo was really able to nail. Tokinada, however, was simple enough in terms of what drives him and his dimensions, and I think the execution in terms of how the exposition of his character pushed plot development was on point
