Gargitron and Terminus dont despawn, their whole code is based around ambushing, stalking, hunting. Theyll immediately teleport and start to stalk, and eventually theyll flip a coin to hide and ambush, or toy. And eventually theyll just give chase and then start it all over again. But Terminus actually has a feature where if you dodge him enough he enters a rage mode.
My boy Richard is the best. Just look at him. He has long arms and legs, a beautiful haircut and he runs at the speed of light just to hug you. Vote Richard.
Gargitron is definitely the smartest and scariest bot of them all. The reason he teleports away instead of just instantly chasing someone at full speed (which gets quickly repetitive) is because he stalks the player and takes slow steps, when seen he either starts chasing you fast or runs away to hide and starts stalking you again. This makes him really unpredictable where you never know if he is gonna attack or not or if he is around a corner. With other Nextbots you are constantly being chased and don't get time to breathe but with Gargitron, you get some time to breathe and take in what just happened. While you are shocked from what just happened, Gargitron finds another chance to attack you when you don't expect it. Only thing that ruins them is Glass or in this case the broken wall which is something that Gargitron can't get over but can be seen.
Sorr for a late reply but Terminus also uses this as a base with a few extra features to make him less predictable which also includes ambushing toy chase and a few others.
In the "intelligence" challenge, the way the nextbots actually go back and fourth between paths before actually choosing, makes them feel...... sentient.
tbh i feel like gargitron is best at stalking. the mechanics are: when its in its stalking state. it stalks you. and inches its way to you, once its near enough, it flips a coin, one side is hiding, the other is running, if running, start running, if its hide, you basically safe
No,Gargitron is actually pretty fast when he is in his chasing phase. And,being fast dosen’t mean an entity has to be scary. Its all based off of design and its intelligence.Gargitron is pretty scary since he has three sides, hiding, stalking and chasing , and you never know if he’ll pop out after hiding
ayo that means even though happy and munci actually know how to go to a player without literally getting stuck a 100 times sad is still smarter then them
There is a stern difference between the many speedy bots and some of the others. Gargitron and Terminus are not meant to act immediately; they are designed specifically to act in varying ways, such as hiding, chasing, or in Terminus’ case, ambushing, playing, or getting pissed off.
@@InfernoAnimations1 they may be faster, but munci has better control over his movement. the faster a nextbot is, the more likely they are to get stuck. munci can control his speed better than Happy and/or Sad.
@@ponk0217 sad is pretty smart and in that way can controll his speed way better than normally. also I noticed how happy and sad won next round (because he's the polar opposite)
Interesting fact about nextbots: the faster they become the less accurate they are. This is heavily present when hunting multiple targets Ex: spawn 50 civilians and have each nextbot see who kills them all the fastest, and you'll actually find that angry munci will kill all 50 first due to having more accuracy after a target, as other nextbots after a kill or 2 will just fly around for a second, before they can land another shot on another target. I'd like to see a future video of a challenge for each nextbot to fight large groups and see how they do.
@@Uninfected_SpeakermanTitan sorry if it makes me sound stupid but idk if you are being sarcastic or not- yeah im sorry since im stupid, def not a nerd.
The reason Gargitron and Terminus dissapear is that they teleport to a random spot on the map and they will slowly tmake their way towards you and they have 2 choices when they see you. Either go to hiding and repeat the stalking phase or chase you.
Gargitron or however you spell is amazing. Basically when you activate him he begins to slowly move towards your position making a sound that gets louder he closer he gets while giving you time to feel shivers down your spine knowing he’s in the map and when he gets to you and you see him he flips a coin. Heads he will hide from the player and prepare to ambush them elsewhere and if it’s tails… better haul ass. It’s best on an indoor map like the giant hotel Backrooms map.
@@PlentyXD btw The reason I said that is because I’m working on a Nextbot that is really fast and it’s called well depressed but I don’t know how to make a nextbot
first off, sad was nominated because of speed. also, Richard doesn't stalk, he's just scary. And finally, for the stalking, I think that terminus should win, because he has the most complex AI.
either gargatron or the improved version is the best at stalking knowing that they are actually made to stalk Plus stalking is not catching someone off guard it’s watching them from a distance
Happy is not as fast as Sad, and Sad just bruteforces his way through; the real most intelligent is angry munchi. Richard is definitely most frightening.
The actual tests you did don’t really describe the categories. Here are my answers restricted to the ones you used. Speed: Trauma I did this because it’s the fastes of the nextbots you tested. Intelligence: Angry munci The reason for this is because angry munci CAN NOT get stuck in the maze map. Meanwhile the others can or are slower than angry munci. Scares/Stalking If this category is scares, then it’s up to you to decide. I personally don’t find Richard scary. If it’s Stalking then it’s terminus. Terminus is a better version of Gargitron, the stalking nextbot.
Angry Munci is the best nextbot because he gives you time to react and run away hes not like sad, happy, trauma, or light. Angry Munci's sound is scarier and his design is scarier, so me personally i vote Angry Munci.
The concept of Nextbots, being unnerving and relentless, is a fundamental aspect of their existence in the gaming world. While some argue that making them super fast would increase the thrill factor, it would actually detract from the experience by taking away from their ominous presence. Nextbots are meant to instill a sense of fear and tension in the player. By making them fast, this fear would be replaced with anxiety and panic, resulting in a less enjoyable experience. Furthermore, the lack of animations is what makes them so eerie. Without the normal movements of a character, Nextbots appear almost inhuman and unpredictable. The fact that Nextbots cannot be defeated is another key aspect of their design. It forces the player to be constantly on their guard and always moving. If Nextbots were easily defeated, the fear factor would be diminished, and the game would lose its appeal. The fact that they chase you down until you die is what makes the game exciting and worth playing. The player must constantly think of new ways to avoid them, which keeps the game engaging. Additionally, making Nextbots super fast would make the game less accessible to a wider audience. Those with slower reaction times or less experience with the game would be at a disadvantage, resulting in frustration and a lack of enjoyment. In conclusion, Nextbots should be unnerving and not super fast. They do not have animations and cannot be defeated, which makes them all the more ominous and frightening. The fact that they chase you down until you die is what makes the game exciting and worth playing. By altering their design and making them really fast, we risk losing what makes them so unique and appealing to players.
These type of “nextbots” are typically called sanic clones. Calling them nextbots does a disservice to actually impressive nextbots that aren’t copies of that old sanic addon. Though Richard is somewhat of a relief from the sanic clones
Fun Fact: One with Half black half white face (I dont remember his name) Has a 'stalking mode' when its active he teleports to a random place and then ever do slowly goes toward you (then he either teleports or runs you over like a truck)
