What im thinking happened here is the party of 6 apart from Jinwoo and jinho were planning to basically kill off only Jinwoo and split the haul 7 ways but since the boy jinho is smart and said legaly it should be split 8 ways instead of 7 they wanna kill him too and get to split the rewards 6 ways now because even if they try to bribe him with 100mil currency the boy is already rich and don't need the money but he has a brain and sees that they are greedy as he mentioned the contract jinwoo will get 2 mil only but won't get any drops or mined crystals thats why this party of 6 gonna try and kill them both now with the boss and they know themselves that are capable of tacking the boss on themselves as 6 ppl since they have done this c- rang dungeon multiple times (not same one but c-rank dungeons) so yeah im thinking thats what is going on here

When I was first read the manwha, I was also surprised by how humble and polite Jinho is, especially since he is actually from an extremely rich family. Characters like him are usually stuck-up and snobbish, but the fact he went out of his way to defend Jinwoo and call out the team for cutting him out the reward cut, especially when the team all outrank and can easily kill him, shows how good of a person he is.

They're feeding a pair of scrubs to the boss so they can mine crystals for several hours while the spider is fat and sleepy. Once the boss is dead, the dungeon starts closing, so you have to mine BEFORE you clear. Then they can split the loot six ways, no payout. It's a slick plan, and it's been working for these guys for a while. No reason it would ever have to stop, unless the authorities started investigating why they lose guys so frequently. Even then, there's no proof they've done anything so far. The only way to stop them would be a high-ranker going undercover... or a super-strong victim not going down.

A little hint was mentioned during the house scene, it was not just his exercise that changed his appearance but also his skill changed his appearance to match it.

To answer your question, 1. They need to recruit 2 more hunters to meet the quota. The hunter's association won't give them the permit to raid unless the association is sure that the risk is minimal at best. They don't want hunters to go to a dungeon with the possibility of a wipeout. 2nd: They will kill the recruits so that they can just split the loot to themselves. Less people, higher split rewards. 3rd. Jinho's armor is expensive which is a bonus to them. 4th. They know they can kill the boss if they want to since they already done it multiple times. They want the spider to be full to minimize its mobility. Lastly, they want to have an alibi that they went back to get the equipment to make it looks like an accident. Since all hunter's death are being investigated by the surveillance team. :)

Their group only has a few members so they offer lower ranked hunters a deal to accompany them to meet the necessary quota with every intention of having them die in the dungeon, one way or another. Even if Jin woo beats the boss, if they let him leave the dungeon alive they're gonna be F'd! I think you can figure out what that means!

So Here's my theory about that raid group. They use 2 low rank to fill in their healers spot and explore the dungeons ahead of time to know what level of loot they're getting, this one they know how much mana crystals is available and how much they can earn by taking care of it. By not killing the boss, they have more time to go get the gear and the rest of their raiding party to go in. This helps 2 fold, by getting rid of low level hunters in society and helps them maximize on their earnings. That's why they wanted the low level tank for his armor and kill off Jinwoo, the weakest of the hunters. There's probably also a connection with the guy's brother which one person was scolded for mentioning. Thats why the injury liability contract was important to the society at large. Now, I'm not sure if they leave will they still get credit for beating the boss which is irrelevant since they don't earn exp or items from defeating creatures unlike Jinwoo who does. Not sure what the Gold can be used for when he sells those items. They only get the crystals they need to personally removed from the bodies of enemies which the won't be there to retrieve when Jinwoo defeats the boss. It look like this tank will be sworn into secrecy and part of Jinwoo party from here on out? who knows.

I'm just assuming they kill off two randos because they're required to have two more people than they need, which guarantees they get 25% more of the take. Pretty major crime for a pretty minor reward since most dungeons aren't full of treasure like this one

Two week glowup! It's been 11 days since he woke up, which was 3 days after the Cartenon Temple. He didn't train his first day awake, and it feels pretty safe to say he's trained every day since (No Thank You Giant Scorpions!). His initial stats were Strength 16, 10 in the rest, he adds a point to each of them for each level so +17 to each, and he had Str 48, 27 in his other stats, and 12 points left to spend when he brought up the display. He finished his workout before the phone call and completed his 10km run on the way to the job, but hasn't spent those 3 points yet.

So in the LN, The Hunters Association of Korea mandated that in order enter a gate to raid a dungeon, you must have 10 hunters. Half of these hunters MUST BE THE SAME RANK AS THE GATE THEY ARE ENTERING. I don’t know why A-1 changed this detail, but now it is 8 hunters. Hwang Dongsuk is a C rank, out of his crew of 5 there are 4 C ranks and 1 D rank. This does NOT include Yu Jinho, as he is like Sung, a stand in to make the quota, but D rank so he is expected to fight. Jinwoo still being listed as an E rank is not allowed to “hunt”. Hwang Dongsoo’s team is not part of a guild, they are an independent Strike Squad, and they are deemed (at least in the anime, in the LN another hunter informs Jinwoo if these type of hunters to look out for) by Song Chiyul that he must “ Beware the Lizards” He tells Jinwoo about them because Jinwoo at the time really was very weak and could be taken advantage of by these type of hunters who “cut off the tail”. In this case Jinho and Jinwoo are the tail. The next episode will be very much all about that bass! 🥰
