that magnificent old bag, what a gem. You can tell she's raised boys. So supportive and grouchy at the same time. Every ounce of that woman is a Mom, what a grand lady.
I love when grandma Lolly is present! She is quite the trooper and doesn't mince any words. Everyone else is gagging and she just sticks her head in and checks it out. You guys are off to a great start. Can't wait to see this derby competition to the end. Thanks for sharing 👍
Lolli definitely showed her immense strength as a woman that's been around and seen some things when she straight faced said how foul the trunk smelled then proceeded to lean further into it for for a better taste😂
I was in a head on collision when I was in my 20s, driving a 79 Ford LTD. I walked away from the accident without a scratch. The person that hit me was driving a later model Cadillac. Her ride was totaled and she left the scene in an ambulance. That LTD saved my bacon.
Some call me Hoopty instead of Hampton due to my love of the 60s-70s 4 door boats. I love seeing Pauls creations but it hurts to see these old cruisers disappear.
I'm with you G. I love the 60's 70's land yachts especially Buicks. It kind of bothered me to see some of the distruction but I get it. It wasn't a revival.
The first job I had was delivering groceries. My boss had a 73 Delta88 with a 455 in it. Every once in a while he would toss me the keys and tell me to blow the carbon out of it. What a blast.
Sort of got used to Michelle not regularly being in the vids (shame though), but not seeing Ben in one just feels weird now. Hope everyone is well and that Ben isn't suffering any ill effects from the Wrecker Games rollover.
Paul I am looking forward to the next video in my opinion having you, Matt, Rudi and Robby as a 4 man team is definitely going to be fun to watch and my money is definitely on you four guys.
I agree view bro, Paul is looking Dandy and I see the boys are too.wish I had those family days boys, you will cherish every second of it when you grow older.don believe me now, that would be normal and we don't... Mal.
Oh man Paul, I have never laughed so hard in any of your videos as in this one, that was great. Keep up the great work with the content ya'll put out, I love it all!
Grader: "there's a really hard one" (while hoping dad was gonna go handle it for him) Paul: "go work at it, you'll get it" THAT is how you raise kids that are self-sustaining, non-lazy, a person that wants to figure things out on their own, and future productive members of society. Good on you and Michelle for raising those youngins the way we were all raised and not like a namby pamby that most kids are raised to be nowadays.
Love Grandma Lolly. She was the SMART ONE..!! "I'm going home....." I was laughing so hard at Paul cleaning that car out........I was almost dry heaving with him..!! hahah
I love this channel! I always get a laugh. I wish I could have Hunter’s screaming when the mice are coming out of the boat as my ring tone on my phone. Thanks for the Sunday enjoyment.
Great content! I've missed the longer videos, love seeing the whole family get in there and work! Brings back fun derby day memories for me as well! We have a local derby day as well once a year, small car derby, kids derby, and truck derby it's a blast! Lookin forward to watching
Hah! In 1982, the first car I ever owned was a ‘72 Olds 98. Biggest, heaviest passenger car ever built, and ‘72 was the the longest of all the model years. At the time, my Dad figured that would help keep me safe. 😂❤
Looking forward to see this build! Wondering how much money you would have been able to make back from all the good parts you took off this car: all the good windows, the dash (it didn’t look cracked), the front clip. Also, if I’m lucky and you read my comment, can you give us an update on how the Arbor Freight winch and synthetic cable held up? Merlin did a review of the damage on the towing equipment he used, and I found it very informative.
First, the Hanta virus reference was hilarious and Paul should be proud he pulled that out of his hat and second, Grayden is soooo naturally funny. Great video guys
Looking forward to this build. Couldn’t handle that clean out though 🤢. Nasty? Disgusting! But amazing what you uncovered when all cleaned up. Let the fun begin!
Just so you know, there are masks available for times like this. A quality mask will reduce/eliminate the odor and limit/stop contaminants from getting into your lungs. We don't want our favorite RU-vid Stars getting deathly sick! Just an important tip from a retired Registered Nurse!
Wow my first car was a 1972 delta 98 . It was so big I think it had three doors on the side...lol My dad thought I needed a lot of metal around me for protection. I'm not sure that he realized it had a 454 big block...
455 in the Oldsmobile you had.. Chevy was 454,the 455 actually would out perform most 454's except the LS-6 454.. My buddy had a Olds Cutlass with a 455,I had a Charger with a 440 lets just say those cars for 16 year olds got us in a lot of trouble!! Late 1980's were fun as hell..
@@n6cid it’s weird to see you say that. I can remember when that Olds was new guys talking about how crappy they were compared to cars built in the 40’s and 50’s- back “when they really knew how to build cars “😂.
Shame that you didn’t save the windshield and back glass to resale. You threw away close to $1,000😞. Door glass worth $ too. Your boys could have an eBay side gig resales.
The way Paul and Hunter are acting and saying how bad the car smells I'm glad that Bill Gates and Elon Musk or someone else hasn't developed Smell O Vision yet lol 😂😂😂
Should have cleared it out outside! I learned that decades ago I got an old van, a non runner from a friend who was a farm lad. The van had stopped running and he just wanted rid, so I towed it to my factory yard opened all the doors and the bonnet, cleared the whole interior straight on to our big burn up cage, there were old Barber jackets wellington boots dead cats dead pigeons and a few dead pheasants sacking and other rubbish. Stink, it made me wretch. The intention was to scrap it but it looked so solid. I cleaned it serviced it and we used it for around 5 years daily without fault, passing every MOT every year, then my son had it for around 3 years, and even then it was still so good a pal bought it from me. A very good and capacious Morris Marina Van.
I was driving a 72 98 the same color as that one in 1978 towing a camper trailer. A couple of miles ahead there were some bikers coming toward us. One of them was riding on the center line and cars ahead were moving onto the gravel shoulder to avoid him. I wasn't going to move over because the camper was wider than the car. He was fairly close when he realized that I wasn't moving over. He turned back into his lane and went all the way across the lane landing in the ditch.
To busy safety glass use a small of impact not large. A center punch tool will shatter the glass with one push. Gas stations in Florida sell them to hang on car key ring Incase you go into canals. Driver only had to pull out car key and use the counter punch tool the size of small pencil in length. To escape without breaking the glass you have to wait until most interior is full of water so can open the door since the water pressure is the same. Water pressure will hold door shut.
Wow you talk about memories! Lol That was my first car almost exactly.! 😊 Only difference was mine set under a tree and somehow turned almost pink. Exact year everything! Man them was the good ol days!!
