The oink oink segment is a joke from one of BTS'S American interviews. They were asked, who eats the most, and everyone said Jin. So in response Jin said, I'm a pig, oink, oink. It was really funny.

Jin just has a way with words 🤣 They say BTS' dynamic is as egalitarian as it is because Jin set that tone as the eldest. In Korea, whoever's the eldest in any given grouping is afforded a greater level of respect and authority, but Jin rarely wields that power, and never in an overbearing way. He prefers to create a comfortable, often playful atmosphere, and so much of his scolding takes on this tone, bringing them into line with a ridiculous delivery and a smile on his face. It makes times when he's serious all the more impactful, and the lack of a power struggle between him and Namjoon so beautiful

Jin sometimes speaks extremely passionately and he sounds angry, but it’s literally how he speaks 24/7. He’s started variety shows like that and the hosts will be like “are you okay? What’s wrong?” And the rest of the guys have to tell them nothing is wrong and it’s just how he speaks

These clips are the guys having fun on RUN BTS and other interviews. Jin and JK bicker the most in the group because the are really close. People find them endearing since Jin is the oldest and JK is the youngest and in Korea, the eldest is supposed to be respected above all others, however, JK treats Jin with respect regardless of how much they bicker. Respect is a big thing in Korea, and the oldest person in a family or group has the most authority and say-so over things. Sometimes the members playfully joke around and mess with Jin to get a reaction out of him but they love and respect him of course. Jin doesn't use this power much, only when necessary. He mentioned before that he wants to be a good hyung and understanding friend to the members.

You have to understand that Jin is very laid back with the other members. He doesn't use his age/authority card which is normally followed in Korean society. As he often says, he doesn't want people to see his darker side. So he tries to always project a happy/funny outlook. So when he does go off, you know the other members pushed the wrong button. But if you notice, he does it in a way that usually causes everyone to laugh that way he gets to vent while keeping everything light.

I'm an older sister and I totally feel Jin's pain. 😅💜 Also, let's all remember how much the members love Jin as their hyung. He is the best.

That Christmas one is iconic. Jin is so good at talking you don't realize that half the time he's just making shit up off the top of his head. All those clips with Jungkook are cut short. Their bickering is famous and hilarious. Jin doesn't always win those. and one of the things I always liked about BTS off stage is how strong that sibling-like relationship is between all of them. So many moments that remand me of my childhood as well.

Jin does have proper etiquette manners, and he is probably strict about that with the boys. Have you seen his posture? Boy never slouches. That being said, Jin is less strict with the age Korean hierarchy than most people, the eldest has a lot of power, but Jin doesn't use his power because Namjoon needs to be the leader, and if he is respectful of Namjoon's authority the others will follow and it would be easier for Namjoon to lead. Jin leads in manners and keeping the boys in line when it comes to public places, there is actually a compilation of Jin gathering his little chicks whenever they wonder around in shows. I think the way he jokingly scolds the members in this exaggerated manner really sets the tone in situations and often makes their lives much more comfortable for everyone. Also, Jin also has this way of calmly telling members how to act sometimes? Like, he can read the atmosphere of the room pretty well and he's very observant about the members and the people around them so he's always ready to bring the members down a notch whenever they get too chaotic and initiate the chaos when needed. I noticed too that in most places they go to, especially new locations, the members tend to crowd around Jin (especially when they meet new people) like they're waiting for his cue on how to act (except for RM who has to be in the very front to greet people, but he also makes sure that Jin is beside him for support). He's hilarious but also so well-mannered and very good at social situations. I remember watching clips of old BTS appearances, like in Rookie King, etc., when Jin wasn't really sure of his role in the group dynamics yet, he was so shy and quiet, and you can really see how all over the place the members are and how Namjoon always looked so stressed in keeping them in line, so I'm glad that Jin really stepped up because he's exactly the older brother everyone needs (not just BTS, but everyone needs a person like Jin in their life but not everyone can get lucky to meet a person like him). Jin is my ultimate role model, I wish that one day I'll get to be even half as remarkable as him.

Bwahaha in reality, Jin's the chillest oldest bro. In Korea, eldests often order youngests around, society would turn a blind eye even if they abused of their position bc it's 'normal' but on the contrary, Jin's caring & let the members live. That little clip with TxT was actually from the first night Chicago concert in 2019. It was really cool to see them up in a Sky Box at Soldier Field. They did keep the windows open and come out on the balcony to dance once in a while, but the weather was Very cold. If I remember right it was low 50's high 40's. They didn't attend the second night when we had rain along with the freezing temps. It was still a Blast! Jin said he hated the cold though. Lol. 🥶💜♾
