I think Takaratomy should start selling the metal series beys again and i am pretty sure alot of people would buy them and it would also solve the problem of midfakes
>Be me >Buy a rapidity metal saga bey once >Metal wheel broke in just a few hours >Buy another one again >Test how strong the metal is >Grip it as hard as I can >Breaks instantly >mfw
I think the only concern in terms of midfakes are if they are safe and work correctly. I think I might have gotten midfakes by mistake recently after throwing away all of my fake beys. I wish companies would be more careful with what they make and the materials they use
Yeah, they should just let the public know so we know what we're buying. If these had no lead, and at decent prices there wouldn't be much to complain about. When they label as Takara Tomy, and have high price it's so infuriating 😡 Thanks so much for watching and leaving a comment 🙏
I still stand by the fact that Midfakes are still aren't THAT bad. Of course nothing will beat the OG Hasbro and TT MFB stuff, but for the price that you're getting them at, I still think they're fine for just casual collection and battling, at least from the ones that I've gotten. Some midfakes are definitely better than others and it can be a real crapshoot to get a good or bad mold, but as long as you have an idea of what you're getting into when you get one of these, it shouldn't be too big of a deal. Midfakes still get the thumbs up from me, if not not a very cautious one. At the very least, I'll still happily take them over anything from Modern Hasbro and especially all of the other fakes.
Great Video! Yup, main problem with midfakes is that the quality will vary with each Bey. I’ve found while most have much lower levels of lead, it is still present. The difference in quality also applies to plastics used, detailing etc.. While most can be considered great replicas, some like Meteo L-Drago are just straight up stinkers. There’s definitely a lot of due issues with midfakes such as scams, but they’ve enabled a newer audience to obtain something that might’ve otherwise been unobtainable. As long as people know what they’re purchasing!
That's a very good point. I'm not here to tell people what to do, but hopefully give some info on what can be done. I know it's hard for most, specially during these tough times, to collect or even buy a few Beyblades. Just being careful with who we give our money to is what I suggest. Thank you for watching and leaving a comment 🙏
@@BeybladeDad then u should also tell them the actual tt's price should be much more less than it is now...coz original tt's price is also increasing day by day....everyone is making profit
I have actually purchased a few metal fight midfakes from BeysandBricks. I have had them for a few months and they have shown no signs of damage and actually perform well in battle, beating my hasbro metal beys. I don’t know if it just depends on the beys, but I think midfakes are not as bad as people say they are.
It was about $15 for each bey and $4 for delivery. This was actually not bad for what I was getting, especially because the beys perform similar to the original. I have also seen no signs of lead, so I think some midfakes are ok, but I don’t recommend them over hasbro and TT products.
I've purchased a good amount of their $12-$15 takara tomy beyblades. I haven't tested them for lead but I bought them expecting midfakes. They're most definitely good quality (with the occasional chip in plastic). The unbranded beys are the ones to most definitely avoid on their site which are all $5 or less. The "metal" from they beyblades flake off during battle and assuming they have lead make them quite hazardous to use. The parts from unbranded beys also tend to have horrible mold(shape) issues. Guilty of buying them myself (but throwing them all out recently), the worst offender was duo Uranus. while surprisingly useable the bottom part of the metal frame where the spin track goes was so badly molded that it looked like someone blasted metal with fire and melted a chunk of it off and let it cool. Beyblade Dad I think a great video would be covering a few midfake beys and unbranded ones from beys and bricks specifically would be a great vid especially after this one. Beys and bricks is probably one of the most reliable and affordable bey sellers that put out decent releases that I've seen even while keeping up with current burst releases. But there should also be a good explanation of any dangers that may come from using that site
true, it's definitely much better quality compared to other fake brands, feel kinda legit actually. usually these fake beys breaks so easily yet this so called midfakes performs just like the real deal and shows no sign of dmg whatsoever.
*5:30** Shoutout to Snidmist, one of the biggest Indian BeyTubers, who brainwashed his whole community into thinking "Midfakes do not exist" so that he could sell them at a high price and make profit from his victims* 🙂
bro its just a fucking toy and our emotion .....everyone is not billionaire ....and one more thing I do agree in some points with you like selling beys in high price...but dude everyone is making profit and u have to understand ur own good too...but it's not like that socalled midfakes are bad, they r just op....but at very reasonable price
@arnabbhattacharya7772 you don't need billions of $$ to buy Beyblades.. This is one of the main reason I wanted to make the video, so people can see that these are even cheaper if bought from the source. I'm trying to take the power away from these people who sell them for high price saying it's TT, when it's not. From most people's experience with midfakes, they say they don't last as long so they're not necessarily good either.. sadly.
I mean Mids are not bad. They use same molds and materials as the OG ones. They don't actually have any QA. They don't have Lead as far as I have tested and asked around. They perform the same, except the ones with rubber tips, they're too hard to be considered rubber. They are a good way to get into MFBs today after production halted and the used beys are sold at what collectors decide. They don't look as good. But they play almost the same.
Nah I'm still buying them, specifically the Metal Fight ones because for me its better to buy these "Mid-Fakes" for cheap than buying the hard to find real ones for an absurd price
Nah I still buying beyblade from flame Brand the bey is better than Hasbro having takara Tomy gimmick and cheap iam from asean Malaysia so it's around 40-50rm (10$) not like takara Tomy it's 80-200rm (20-50$).
Midfakes are cool and great!!! They are great products for people who wants to feel good about MFB again the only L's about them are their defects... But there are so many kids who are biased by the word "FAKE" they always assume everything that has the word "fake" on it is bad..... But yeah very informative video right there!
@@RetroAlex125 that's what i'm trying to explain. and now these damned f*ckin' peoples are pulling up some more excuses and sh*t, saying that midfakes are under-made by the "rapidity" or sum' other bootleg companies, which it annoys me a lot.
This has always driven me crazy - midfake, that's like if I would create beyblade 1:1 then I could say that it is original??!!.... So there is Hasbro, TT and all other are FAKE, no matter how good they are....
Thank you so much for such an informative video with evidence. I use to be convinced from all the misinformation out there that these Beyblades were safe.
It’s sad with midfakes because it makes collecting harder as a metalfight kid from the late 00’s, I remember galaxy Pegasus, my first ever Lightning L-Drago… such good times just spinning and spinning
I was hoping You did talk about Hasbro as well... They been Midfakes since Season 3. I have never bought any fakes from Amazon. I also understand how to buy TT if i wanted them. Now.. Pokemon.. I did ran into a fake Heartgold at Gamestop. As of Amazon.. I have seen some Korean made Beys.. people do say they are real like TT but no, i won't buy them.
I do have a question.. Wal-mart? Are those listings for Takara are good to buy real TT beys? Target also has some TT listings as well, I do know they use 3 party vendors on their online site..so are they real too?
Yeah, I can't believe the price on some.. I mean they're good, they may be old and a collectors item now but I can't justify spending so much on it, plus staying up to date with Burst 🥲
I have a ton of fake beys and I trade them for real ones, example, I trade a fake saviour Valkyrie with a diff combo cuz the parts are decent for a regular TT zillion Zeus and one time for a TT kaiser kerbus with a rising Ragnurok combo
Idk mistakes don’t have rubber I brought fusion hades I bender the rubber and it bends mid fake tubers don’t work like that I even got rdf and it was rubber
As for my knowledge, I know that in Burst and even Metal Fight, the brands S3, Flame, Rapidity, MQ and others are somewhat different companies with same motives. S3, Mq and Flame prioritize cheap burst beyblades, that are kinda durable(I have MQs and S3s, they haven't broke yet) have differences. MQ and S3 has tough plastic, working gimmicks, heck even drivers wearing down! (except for those dual layers S3 sells). Rapidity also but has worst quality, but their metal fight's kinda sh***y. Flame has rubber, tough plastic, but the rubber are pretty random, with some pretty good, while some just jump off after rounds. Source:Reviews, experience, and MQ vs Flame vs TT(or Flame only, or MQ only) from RAMP Beyblade Hobby videos(specifically those where he tests fakes in battles.)
Midfake are not made from the same materials as Rapidity. That's insanely wrong claim. This is why midfakes are legal in competitive formats and fakes are not. Also a lot of people did lead testing on mf and found no lead
I bought a couple that arrived this week, it’s the plastic that gives it away, a lot of it is flimsier and the plastic is see through, with metal fight, those have really weak joint pieces, plus their colored metal is weaker than their regular metal.
awe man, depending where you got them from you should be able to get your money back. Or if your keeping them, i hope they last 😅 Thanks for watching and leaving a comment
@@BeybladeDad well, they seem okay, one of the leones I received (a red 4d one) the metal shattered upon 2 rounds. And I got them from Ali express for 1-3 dollars each.
@@darksoma209 you said you got it for 3-4 dollars each, that means you've bought a rapidity beyblade, not the midfakes. *midfakes costs around 15-20 dollars each, ææÆ*
The New Boy arabian versions aren’t fake they were sold in Arabian countries just like sono kong in korea, funzkook in india And now we have Toy pro with real TT beys and sold in UAE & SA & Jordan
8:00 I don't think that's true they would be stealing the money from Original manufacturers if original manufacturers were still making these. These are gateway to people especially kids who can't shell out big bucks. I have seen Hasbro Ldrago destructor (subpar in comparison to TT) go for 150USD is this not extortionate price for this?
Your right, it's a way to buy Beyblades for low income households. My gripe is that it's still a money grab, by resellers; remember it's a business for them, and they probably don't have altruistic motives for providing them. Maybe I'm wrong, but I guess it's my take on the whole midfake discussion. It definitely is extortion to buy one Hasbro for $150, but at the same time it's because of the low supply, and so the value rises for collectibles. When these midfake Beyblades are made for $3 or less, and being sold for over $20, even $50 with sub par materials it causes this price difference to be more dramatic 🤔 thanks for watching and leaving a comment ✌️
Yeah, there's midfake codes that are on the boxes. I'm not too sure about which code it would be though 🤔😅 I would go into a sub reddit to check. Thank you for watching ✌️
One thing I found out today about another way to tell if a beyblade is a midfake is if the facebolt has a code. Each beyblade parts for Takara Tomy has a 2 character code like A1, E4, D3, and so on. For hasbro, they have a 3 character code like AA3, AA1, and so on. Both midfakes and real beyblade has those codes on each part EXCEPT for the facebolt. The area where the facebolt code is located is too small for TT midfakes to copy, so they essentially skipped putting any code there while their other parts like the fusion wheel and energy ring has the code. Checking the 5 character item code below the box and comparing it to the list of real and midfake item codes in reddit is still the best way to know whether your bey is real or fake, but if the code you're looking for isn't there, then the facebolt code thing is another way to check your bey's legitimacy. Another way is to weight the bey and see if it matches or is close to the real beys' weight that you can find online. Checking the rubber's quality, if it has any, is another way to tell if it's real or fake. If you have the Final Drive or Final Survive part from l-drago or pegasus, then check if they have triangle screws or crosshead screws. Hope these helps!
No they don't and are very compatible with original launchers. Infact midfake L Drago string launchers are so good I've had mine for over 6 years and it has no sign of wear.
Awe, that wasn't my intention. These beys are extremely hard to find, specially brand new. They're expensive and still have a chance of breaking. I just hope that you won't end up overpaying for them in the future.
Very important video to make as burst is coming to a end in releases. People are going to start collecting mfb that never have before unknowingly purchasing these fake product.
@myffical. I wish!! I still haven't come across a site that doesn't sell midfakes.. unless it's eBay, or FB marketplace where the price will likely be inflated, and you still run a risk of it being fake.
okay so basically Midfakes is a term made by English Bladers for the Metal Fight series of beyblades that have a weird drop in quality yet have the Takara Tomy branding. Typically identifyable by their dry seal code on the bottom of the box. My good friend, you are spreading misinformation. We don't even know where midfakes come from. Just they exist and they're cheaper and at random occasions better than TT
@@NexusSHater u need to understand that midfakes are made after the production of original beys has been closed So the reason they are called midfakes and u can find the codes for each beys as well
@TheBeyStation the address of the manufacturing site is on their page😅 along with all other products they make, and pictures of the machines used... soo..
I have the Takara Tomy versions of Storm, Galaxy, Big Bang, and Samurai Pegasus, but I think they might be midfakes. I just wanted the Takara Tomy MFB beyblades that I always wanted as a kid, but the real one's are so expensive because they were discontinued 10 years ago. One of the worst feelings as a collector is when something I like gets discontinued and the prices for the remaining unopened products skyrocket.
I buy midfakes because I found my old collection and out of 50 only 2 of them were real which was dark wolf and storm pegasus, I foundout midfakes have no led in them so I bought only 1 which was a meteo L drago and there is no led in it
I missed bayblade because I was in my late teens when they were at their height of popularity. I was more into trade card games at that time. I didn't really start collecting toys again until I was in my 20s. Im just now trying to get into bayblade in my 30s.😅 Pretty much, anything that is Popular enough has fakes, and bootlegs and bayblades are no exception.
Midfakes are better quality than those Chinese knockoffs, beyblades like Big Bang Pegasus work very well and look good. Earth Aquila is very good and only needs a high quality metal wheel to be just as good as the original. If Midfakes really do come from what you say then someone has to do something about it
Bro live in a country where real takara Tomy beys aren't shipped I have no other choice to buy Beyblade other than fakes I searched every local shop and website but they are fake or real but they are too expensive
Try out buyee.jp they ship to over 50 countries, and you can order direct from toys r us Japan, Amazon Jp and ebay jp. I've made a video explaining how it works and what countries they ship to. I hope this helps. Happy blading ✌️
I dont mind midfakes honestly like at least they give people a chance to experience mfb just wish they had a midfake jade jupiter and bakushin beelzeb since they're really expensive
Sir great work love from india. I have question please answer if you can i recently baught a used big bang pegasus from person i met on reddit. How can i know if it is midfake aur genuine tt. Please sir answer
This is pretty hard to tell, and I don't have too many metal fusion beys. From what I've read, if you look at the fusion wheel (the metal) there should be a mold number like 1A, or so. Also, if it seems to be hollow from the bottom or missing the mold number it may be a fake/ midfake. Try taking some pictures and sharing in the r/Beyblade thread on reddit, there's bladers who can tell by looking. I hope this helps ✌️
They have a pretty decent selection, although I still see some midfakes they also have legit stuff too. In the end, it's best to compare pricing. They are comparable to Beys and Bricks tbh
