As someone from Wisconsin I can concur that neuskes bacon (pronounced new-skis anytime I’ve heard it) is the best bacon and restaurants will specify when that’s the bacon they’re using so people know it’s the good stuff

Yes cheddar gets a dye to turn it orange. American Swiss has big holes because we think of holes when we think of Swiss cheese. European Swiss cheese has tiny holes.
