After all the controversy and the crazy prices of cinestill, I decided to try the REAL THING, Kodak Vision3 500T and the results were way better than I expected.

Thanks for the video and the remjet removal trick! I totally agree with you, bulkloading is the way to go, be it color or b/w stock. I liked your soundtrack , is it ethiopian jazz ?

Thank mate. I'm planning to put a video about the Ecn2 development at some point soon. About the music, I'm a drummer, so the music is important to me, however, I have to use Epidêmic sounds. That's means I like the song but I don't know what they are or where it came from. But I'll try to check out and get back to you! 😉

Which you set - 500 or 800? I bought some rolls and its written there "500T/800T"?😅

I shot at 400. If I understood correctly, the film is 800 if you remove the remjet before shooting, like cinestill. But if you do home development, is just the native 500. However is good to note that the dynamic range of this film is really big.

@@WTFphotographythe remjet doesn't affect the sensitivity of the film. Reason why 500T --> 800T is because using C41 chemistry instead of ECN-2 (as originally intended) effectively pushes the film by 2/3 stop.

@@philipau3847 Interesting! I didn't know that, Anyway, the film seems to have such awesome latitude/dynamic range. Probably shooting at 800 wouldn't affect too much, or am I wrong?
