Someone wrote this on another video: Infrasonic weapon. Some guy in France stumbled upon it back in the 1950's. The problem you have when it is used is that it is nearly impossible to detect because normal acoustic devices for measuring sound will not detect infrasonic sounds. You need special equipment to detect it. The guy in France pointed that out because initially they were not able to detect the cause of their discomfort which was caused by a fan in the 7 cycles per second range. If you wanted to attack people you would just need to set up the transducers to create the sound at very high level. The symptoms of exposure would be precisely what you have in Cuba. For very short duration it would only cause the symptoms that would pass when the infrasonic was turned off but at higher levels it would cause permanent injury. Unfortunately you can't protect against it with hearing protection because at that frequency the sound is not blocked and passes through any material.

Yeah, I've read about a few of the more credible accounts. They are very specific, very short and very intense/painful episodes, (followed by lingering symptoms). The one that happened in Moscow and hit two different people in different places in the city within a day just would be uncanny if not something real. Granted, there are a lot of other accounts which might be explained by a group psychosis, but there are some specific cases which almost have to be some sort of attack.

@@LuisRivera-vv4qy lol you'll love this... First I have to say it'd only work when a device is actively on and directed towards you... Now I'm not joking here, but a tin foil hat should kind of work. But, to not look crazy, and be much more effective, I'd suggest a conductive fabric head covering. Could make one of out "Faraday fabric", or there's premade garments you can buy (EMF shielded that's been tested for 'electrosensitive' people, mainly for radiowaves). However, if making it yourself you'd really want to know the frequency of the device being used to make it most effective, and that's the big unknown. But, conductive coverings should help dampen any effects significantly, it just won't be 100% without knowing more about the wave being used (frequency, is it CW or pulsed, intensity, etc.). It's also uncertain what effects these weapons may have on areas other than the head. E.g. does it damage peripheral nerves elsewhere, such as extremities or the heart and gut? I haven't read the medical reports to know if people have experienced non-cephalic symptoms. This definitely works against crowd controlling microwave weapons used by police/National Guard, too, but in that case you'd want full body coverage.

@@LuisRivera-vv4qy it may be you've become hyper-electrosensitive yourself. The US doesn't recognize it officially, nor the EU, but there are studies suggest EM radiation from communication technology could possibly have an effect on some people. I can't say for sure if it's true or not without experimentation, but the threshold they give is for heating biological tissue (that is they deem it safe if it doesn't measurably cause heating in tissues), and in my opinion, something biological doesn't necessarily have to heat up to have damages caused by EM radiation... Without the Earth's magnetosphere and the Ozone layer, we'd all be dead in short order from such radiation. It's really all down to the individual person, and the characteristics of the wave, as to whether or not you'd be effected. There's some journalism on this you could look up, always doing so with healthy skepticism. (Look up 'Electrosensitivity', and stick with professional people and articles, so there isn't so much muck to wade through). My rule would be to always caution on the safe side. If we don't know if something is potentially dangerous, we should treat it as if it were.

He says that 'mass delusion' happens when someone tells you, 'The sugar pill I just gave you was poisoned,' meaning that people have to be TOLD to expect some kind of negative experience and then they delude themselves into thinking that they have it. But this has happened to THOUSANDS of ordinary people, not just 200 government officials. And it has happened to people utterly separated from each other. I read hundreds of comments from ordinary people who had this, and they were completely unsuspecting, never had any thought of something like this happening to them, and they also report the same kind of experience - people in New Mexico, Florida, Ohio, Canada, Germany... and none of them had any idea what was happening to them. Nobody 'prompted' them to imagine that something was happening. The tinitus is a auditory temperary threshold shift in response to directed ultrasound. It is temporary deafness in response to a very loud noise outside the audible spectrum, like when your ears ring from the bass speakers at a rock concert after the music ends. Ultrasound does the same and is beyond the realm of human hearing. It also is used to create audio effects. Think of it like a pair of virtual headphones projected over your ears. VNIR (Visible near infrared light is used to track, monitor, scare, cause visual disturbances and a heating of the skin. The fact that a visible frequency is used tells you it not meant to be completely covert. You can see it clearly by closing your eyes tightly or using solar eclipse glasses. They block 99 percent of the visible light and some of the high energy laser light remains visible. The perpetrature wantes you to see it and immediatly assume you are being attacked with microwave weapons. Every thing mimics the microwave weapons the media says it is. I assume you are referring to me. Actually I'm in New Zealand (which is an independent country that has its own roads and supermarkets...). The US Government examined 8 records from the first 21 attacks and concluded that they were crickets! It certainly wasn't microwaves because microwaves cannot be recorded.

I think that two things that were pointed out and measured sonically were two different crickets. That is wild but if you have ever been inundated with a sound that you can't stop nor do you have any idea where it is coming from it is, maddening!

Another man who didn't give his job title but who worked in some capacity of foreign service who now has severe balance issues and is blind in one eye. How can you honestly say that's psychogenic? I'm sorry but it seems a lazy hypothesis. I get dizzy or need to pop my ears when there's a high pressure system passing through. It's a physiological manifestation of surrounding barometric pressure and it isn't just in "all in my head". Sure, I'd be willing to say some of the reports of Havana Syndrome probably are psychogenic or manifestation of mass hysteria but you can't unequivocally say all those who've reported this are loony (for lack of a better word). Especially not those to first report it. Many don't even want to report it because they're afraid they'll lose their station in life or career. I don't want to go over the top with this example because the 2 are necessarily comparable but humor me: The way you've reacted to the reporters of Havana Syndrome sounds a lot like how rape victims were handled until just recently. Like I said, I don't want to seem over the top and hysterical, it just seems you brush them aside in a similar manner. I'd be extremely frustrated with you if I were someone suffering something like this. And the way you've handled it is why many people never come forward to report and suffer in silence on many issues. I just ask that you take that into account going forward. I have seen both 60 Minute segments on 'Havana Syndrome' - the one that aired on March 17, 2019, and the more recent one from February 20, 2022 (+ the 60 Minutes Overtime segment on 20 children of diplomats being targeted). As someone who began his career as a journalist in New York in 1979 and worked in the profession for several years (and am a New Yorker), the 60 Minutes producers should be charged with journalistic malpractice - or at the very least - trying to whip up interest by present one side of a two-sided story. I am writing a rebuttal for The Skeptic magazine and for Psychology Today that will counter their claims. I have always respected the victims - and I have never claimed they were mentally disturbed or crazy. But they need to be told the truth. For instance, the patients in Cuba should be better on their own with a gradual reduction of stress over time. The problem is - they keep being told they have brain damage when they do not (based on the 2 JAMA studies). If I had seen that 60 Minutes report and not written a book on the topic and been familiar with the facts, I would have concluded that something nefarious took place involving an energy attack by a foreign power - and that suggestions of psychogenic illness were ridiculous because mass psychogenic illness cannot cause brain injuries, white matter changes, hearing loss, and some of the other other symptoms mentioned. But it is demonstrably false. There never was brain damage found in the Cuban patients. That is a fact (re: the 2 JAMA studies from 2018 & 2019). No competent medical professional can read those studies and reach such a conclusion. There should be an investigation as to how those studies were ever published. Number 2 - all of these reports around the world where people are claiming brain injury - this is separate from what happened in Cuba. There are all kinds of mundane explanations for these international reports. Here is an interesting fact for you - The main CIA investigation, the FBI investigation, and the 2021 Jason report by elite specialist scientists are all skeptical that an attack took place. Why is that? You've got this recent report from early February from a small panel of outside advisors to the CIA claiming in a small number of cases, it was likely an attack by an energy weapon. That's exactly what the National Academy of Sciences panel concluded. The same man who chaired the NAS panel, chaired that small CIA advisory panel. The main CIA panel and the FBI and the Jason panel have got it right - and they would have had access to all kinds of secret documents. If 60 Minutes was engaged in a legitimate journalistic enterprise and not just after clicks and views, they would have interviewed some of the many respected skeptics including my colleague - Bob Baloh the UCLA neurologist who reviewed the original JAMA study in 2018 - and rejected it. That they did not provide a balanced report is telling. Most mainstream scientists I know side with the psychogenic explanation because they have taken the time to read the JAMA studies and our book. This isn't hard - follow the science and steer clear of the politics. Anyway - I have given you a detailed response and cannot use any more time to writing comments - but I respect everyone involved. There have literally been thousands of investigative reports showing such for numerous decades already and even numerous admissions of such by the US government. The military industrial complex will leave no stone unturned in seeking relative advantage ... chemical, biological, psychological, cyber, hardware, software, or or whatever means. Who knows the real story on "Havana Syndrome", but it is certainly quite plausible that government weaponization of some form or another is a likely alternative.

Honestly, I do not agree that it is 'unethical' to be called that when it was first founded in Havana. Cuba is generally a safe country but no country is 'risk-free'. Instead of being worried about the name that it has, we should focus on the contents of what it consists of and hopefully find out why this occurred in the first place.

There realy is not an attack. It's the same as the dancing mania/ dancing plaque in Europe in like the 13th to 15th centurie . It's usually a phenomena that starts with a person that convinces others of something odd happening (for example that they can't stop dancing, have certain symptoms of a mistery illnes like in this case or that they in fact got abducted by aliens). The claim that the diplomats in Cuba suffered brain damage is untrue. The JAMA study found brain anomalies but this is not an uncommon finding in small cohorts like this. Brain anomalies are not the same as brain damage. Those anomalies were not pronounced - in fact in the study they stated that the anomalies were so minor that they could have been caused by individual variation. Brain anomalies similar to those found in the 2019 study - can be caused by exposure to long-term stress. Furthermore, it was a methodologically flawed study as 12 of those affected had histories of concussion, compared to none of the healthy controls. This alone could account for the differences between the two groups. Unfortunately many news outlets keep repeating the claim that the diplomats in Cuba experienced brain damage. Not true.
