I agree so much with Pretty U being Joshua's era. Not only did he get a lot of lines, he also had that iconic dance mistake. Hong Jisoo is here to slay Also Hoshi owns Clap with that ketchup hair of his Yes HIT belongs to Mingyu Yoon Jeonghan owns Home Run with the most lines and that red hair and that beautiful face Moon Junhui trademarked World
I just want to take a moment to talk about The8, because I have no idea what happened to this guy, but ever since HYBE took over Pledis he's unstoppable. And don't get me wrong, he's always been a great performer, but now he's on another plane of existence, like what was HOT even. In Super he gets like one line, but he's presence in astonishing.
@@rhodes4327 I was out of the loop and just recently learned that the man had a broken collarbone while filming Super and he still managed to slay this hard.
I think I agree his presence increased, but if you check out his other solos or unofficial songs you'll realise how much of an artist he is. His contemporary Art and Dance is on another level, once he is broken out of his shell, nothing can stop him. He is trying everything and I absolutely love it. Not only him tho, every member is doing their thing, unofficial solos, official solos, unit songs, song cover, dance cover, Osts, cinematography etc. I love how they grow as a group and as an individual too. Seventeen is a very versatile groups gotta say. To being a great artist to being comedic af in variety shows and gose. I love them a lot. I become a carat 6 months ago, FML was my first comeback, loved every bit of it! Love literally every song in the album especially Fire! okay imma stop ranting, bye~
Even if I think of another members first for some songs, I still totally agree with your picks. SVT is just this good as a group, that everyone stands out and no one is left behind. The only song with a major difference for me is HIT, cause I finally found me bias during this era. After becoming absolutely fixated on Jun while watching the dance practice, he now always stands out to me in that song. So for me, it was his era.
I was actually going to write the exact same thing!! I watched this dance practice so many times, Jun did not become my biais, but there's just something about Jun center in this song. He's killing it, I am not sure why he stands out so much in this choreo particularly. Maybe his frame and long limbs help because the moves are so big, I don't know, it just hits different than the other members. But yeah, Mingyu would have probably been my pick if I had only watched the music video.
It’s so hard to choose just 1-2 people to own a svt somg. But to me personally, these few had a clear stand out: Aju Nice- DK Pretty U- Joshua Hot- Minghao-Scoups World- Jun Super- Jeonghan-Woozi
The bravery and decisiveness to pick just one member and runner-up for each era ... I cannot relate. That said, if it had been anyone other than Vernon for Fear I was gonna riot. I think we all know why 🫠
Seventeen is really good at making every members shines in their own way cause it's pretty hard to choose just one member per era (for me personally), but i kinda agree with most of these.
What a fun video! I love how they all get a chance at the spotlight each era. They just have this great group dynamic and fair distribution (that being said, for me every era is DK era but we're all biased aren't we)
The whole album is so un-seventeen like but they still owned these new sounds and aura so well imo. Damn they only keep growing as an artist fearlessly and not sticking to one thing comfortably for the sake of stability. I have deep respect for their artistry.

strong agree with woozi for adore u, mingyu/scoups for mansae, josh for pretty u jun and dk for aju nice was spot on - jun's second chorus dance break stays iconic would've done vernon era for boomboom (best part of the song) and swapped scoups/hoshi for clap but both ate wonwoo/seungkwan for L&R was perfect, they defined the vibe hot is difficult for me. nobody stood out except maybe jun. and agreed super was so woozis era but wouldve done mingyu runner up
The video was so fun! The only major difference for me is Thanks, DK was totally the standout for me. I’m really glad that you made Wonwoo the MVP for Don’t wanna cry, his bridge made the song for me

I agree with you on so many of these! For me though, Attacca/Rock With You was Dino era. Man did not come to play with the mini mullet and the lip ring. I actually became a Dino bias because he wrecked me SO HARD that era and in the Power of Love concert 😊😂
Aju nice is definitely DK's era.. Like DK gives aju nice LIFE(imo ofcourse) .. I don't think the chorus would sound as impactful if dk didn't sang that "AJU NICE!!"part. He's made for quirky and fun concept. Like look at this or bss fighting.. It feels so natural from him
