Who Owns Mister Car Wash? & How They Grew Into The Largest Car Wash In The United States 

Mister Carwash bought out most of the car washes in my hometown. Most of those included things like towel, glass cleaner, and air fresheners. When they took over they raised prices and took away the stuff I mentioned before. I do like the subscription model. I have noticed that over the last two years they have upgraded equipment. They really did well adopting COVID-19 restrictions and accommodations. They even paused subscription payments early in the sheltering phase.

I work at mister car wash and am actually a manager. My location is much nicer and larger than the one shown in the video. Our main goals are to go above and beyond for our employees. We are a friendly face and will do anything to help. To respond to the comment above, if you are referring to cash, it is now card only unfortunately. It is a company wide “policy”. We no longer have the accessories to accept cash, mister is all card based. You cannot sign up for a membership with cash as it is monthly payments until you cancel. If you are referring to turning someone away, we have reasons. We have policy’s that require us to turn away certain vehicles to protect every other variety of cars we wash through the day. If you have something added like a ladder rack to a truck or a bike rack, we will not let you wash for your convenience. If a retract (an edit to that specific cars wash) is missed or malfunctions resulting in wraps touching that specific spot, it could rip off whatever was added and cause damage to your vehicle. Same thing goes for rusted out fenders. If it breaks off and gets stuck in the wrap, it is going to damaged EVERY SINGLE CAR that is behind it. We do it to protect our customers. Every store has different people, we are definitely supposed to be professional, just not everyone holds up those standards everywhere unfortunately. Professionalism, cleanliness, and friendliness is what runs my store.

Hello Luke, I was looking to see where Mr. Car Wash corporate was located. Come to find out right here is Tucson, AZ. Pronounced too sawn not tuc son. Just thought I would let you know. Yeah mr carwash will turn down customers who pays with money. That's a poor business and poor customer service.
