the flamingo was epic- and not because of it's function, because it was repeating back Trixie dialogue and it was amazing on the up humor. new sidekick
I think you’re on to something here…new side kick in every video? The insanity that ensues would be incredible. Watching that flamingo interrupt Ms. Martel sent me unconscious I couldn’t stop laughing lol She is such a Legend. Also, I think the Flamingos name should be Beth lol
I actually went to find a magic mixie video because I was so looking forward to seeing what it does lol you have to fill it with water and pour in all the stuff it comes with, after you stir it and the mist clears the bottom inside flips upside down and reveals a little stuffed animal thing
This whole video is giving off "Cool-yet-judgemental aunt forced to help unpackage and assemble the Christmas toys because your parents are both too hungover from an excess of rum punch" vibes. By which I mean this is amazing.
I am thinking about dropping out of school to focus on my career as a star on RU-vid. I already make a lot of money on RU-vid. School bores me so much. I need more opinions and since I don't have any friends, I gotta ask you, fleu
the pop-it toy is actually for children with ADHD or anxiety, that need something to fidget with. it helps calm them down and helps them focus on something and use their hands. I've seen it a lot in my field of child care!
@@googoogaga7986 yeah, it's very unfortunate. They get such a bad wrap, especially things like fidget spinners. There is also a bad trend where neurotypical people bulk buy them for aesthetic and the ones that actually need them can't get them.
I have fidget toys for myself to help concentrate but also to help comfort my sensory processing issues and a child headmate I have. He loves them and would play with my pop it for ages
My kids have a ton of pop its & literally can't have enough. My ADHD child actually takes hers to school to pay attention in class. Oddly enough, it did improve her grades just to be able to fidget and listen at the same time.
I work with kids with autism and we often have to work really hard on helping them understand what's happening when they use the toilet to help with anxiety around the whole 'things dropping out of my body and into some hole that makes it disappear but I can't see what's happening.' The Gotta Go Flamingo would actually be very useful in these cases since it demonstrates what's happening.
Wow this was very informative, I’ve never heard of a child having anxiety pooping. I have a question does this only happen to younger kids with autism or can it still be with older kids as well? Also if you dont have toys like this what do you use to lessen the anxiety of the child?
@@woooweee4898 It depends on the individual. An individual may be an adult age and have the mental age of a child so they may not grow out of behaviours they displayed as a child. Everyone's autism is different.
I can’t help but wonder if Trixie would enjoy a “dragged out” American Girl doll with the tiny accessories and shoes. Next toy video?? An oversized Barbie styling head.
Trixie with that flamingo had me in tears, I haven't laughed like that in a long time. Also when I looked up Trixie it showed related searches and the first one being Trixie Mattel father and it's a picture of Trixie and Bianca.
My parents would literally take the toys out of the plastic and get them ready for us for Christmas morning so when we would open them it was ready to go. So they would fight with the tiny screwdrivers and batteries to make Christmas ✨magical✨
The trick now is to put in batteries and pre open gifts the night before and just let the kids go feral in the morning. You’ll get a full breakfast of distractions
the circle popping thing is a stim toy i really love, its great for calming down or keeping calm when doing or watching something so i dont get anxious or fidgety :) not really a play and do stuff toy like the rest of these but just a little thing to fiddle with! i also adore that balloon dog & want one for myself
For today's Maxi Challenge - "drag family resemblance". Welcome to the stage: 6:47 Trixie Mattel and Birdie Mattel 10:04 Jeffee Koons and Squeakee Koons
The Pop-It is actually a toy developed to help kids with ASD and ADHD. It helps soothe and keep focus during school and lessons for example! It's been helpful to me during times of stress too.
i have the coolest sensory toy and dont know where it came from. it looks like a cross between a contacts case and a video game controller and has multiple fidgety bits and clicks and textures
@@bbear2695 happy hands toys is a cute company that sells all kinds of fidget toys and I am 90% sure I saw something similar to what you are describing last time I was browsing.
Trixie will get the utility of the toy if she picks it up when she’s on a long phone call. Even normies love fidget stuff when they’re stuck in a conference call.
I'm kind of glad that Trixie got a bootleg magic Mixie because now there's a parent out there who won't have a screaming crying child on Christmas morning. And thankfully, we got to witness this lmao
Ever since I was a kid, I have been obsessed with tiny versions of regular items, like Barbie accessories and the little metal monopoly game pieces. So I was just as excited as Trixie when she opened those little purses. I’m hooked! I might actually look into buying one of those toys, so cute!
My son loves those pop things! He has some learning disabilities, hard time focusing, and developmental delays. For some reason the pop thing really relaxes him and helps him focus.
I’m actually bummed the magical mixie didn’t work because it seems like something trixie would get a kick out of. Maybe they’ll give it another shot and do another video?
"It's 2021...people are getting organ transplants, you can figure out how to give me a toy that's pre-charged." Me and my kidney transplant (in harmony): PREACH SIS
Pop-its are totally status symbols for the elementary school set. Also, we have had one of those squeaky dogs for a year now and the kids still play with it. Definitely the winner.
Trixie is one of the few people I will watch no matter what they do to entertain. She could make a video of herself watching tv in her socks just talking about life, and i’d watch. It’s her magnetic personality that brings me back 💛
Trixie have you thought of releasing a mini make up line now that your dolls are coming out? With like actual practical make up in it? I think that’s be genius. Especially since I ordered two 😆😆
Yessss! Market it as doll makeup and let the rest of us get the dopamine hit of opening and using a doll compact (a nod to Polly Pocket would be genius too).
My coworker bought that flamingo for her nieces last year. I had no idea it was also a talking toy. That is the considerably more fun feature, at least when there's a Trixie screech to mimic
See I totally thought it was a different toy flamingo ...in that it would dance around all funky like ...but funny . And I think it's all it did, no talking. So maybe that is the one your co worker got last year !? Because I was totally thrown off when it ended up being one that pooped !?!?! Lol
You seriously need to add that flamingo to your act. I couldn't stop laughing. I'm not sure Katya will enjoy being replaced by a pooping flamingo though.
I’m waiting for Trixie to add “and connoisseur of children’s toys” to the end of the “I’m a world famous drag queen with a passion for makeup artistry”.
I worked at a daycare for a couple weeks and in the toddler room, we had a bunch of the pop-it toys for after nap time. If a kid woke up before everyone else, we'd give them that toy cause it's quiet but still stimulating. They were in all different shapes so they could choose which one they wanted.
I haven't even finished watching the flamingo part yet and I can't breathe from laughing so hard. 😅 I need a break. 😄 I just love her reactions to toys that confuse her/make her happy so soo much. 💜
Yeah the pop it xl is the most out of touch missed-the-point thing that could've come out of pop its. Fidgets are supposed to be small and discreet, they're not really a game or anything, they're just there to help you chill. Something massive like the xl just takes up more space and is way harder to mess with
the pop-it toy is for kids who have sensory issues and need to calm down when they are experiencing sensory overload. For anyone who doesn't have sensory issues, it might seem like a weird toy but it does have a purpose 👍
ok but when u get stuff like this produced on mass scale and being one of the most popular toys, one should probably consider wtf is wrong with nowaday's kids generation (most likely unsupervised internet) and probably do something about it instead of making toys like these and thinking its cute and normal
@@kodamagreenone9367 It’s not that anything is wrong with kids. It’s because the stigma of ADHD, autism and other disabilities is being dropped and MORE kids are being accurately diagnosed.
@@kodamagreenone9367 ok but it actually helps people with sensory issues so it should be normalized for kids to have healthy coping mechanisms for sensory overload... these kids who have actual issues shouldn't be punished or picked on because the "unsupervised" kids on the internet that don't have fidgeting problems decided to make it trendy.
@@kodamagreenone9367 You are so hateful and ignorant it’s scary. Do you think that kids magically get sensory issues if they play with toys meant to help sensory issues? Because that is not remotely how it works. This should be common sense.
Miniatures of real things are a huge thing apparently. There’s a whole community of people who do mini supermarkets and homes with mini brands and shopkins
we used the pop toy at my daycare for children with sensory issues, ADHD, or anxiety; it was supposed to soothe them and focus them when they were upset lol
The flamingo repeating Trixie and her team has me in tears of laughter! That flamingo would be a great drag performer, also its pink and it shits itself, what's not to love?
“Of all these toys, this feels like something you would show to high people. Like marijuana people would be like ‘woww’ like they would love this.” Me, stoned out of my mind watching this video: woww I love this
8:48 Ms. Martel that is known as a fidget toy! A great way for kids to keep their hands busy. Super helpful for kids (and adults, I have a couple I fidget with) with ADHD, ADD, Autism etc. Plus, they are less likey to be taken away if used in class, because they are quiet and don't take that much attention away from the lesson. THAT is why they are in such high demand. Almost ALL kids fidget and want something to mess with when they're bored or under-stimulated.
