Facts judging between two 4.2 guys is splitting hairs, but the major difference between them was that Devin had Barry Sanders level elusiveness(which is a combination of field vision, quick twitch muscle fibers, and an instinctive understanding of angles). Tyreek obv has peak athlete speed and short area quickness/acceleration, but he’s slightly less instinctive with the ball in his hands particularly moving laterally. Both Legends. This is coming from a sub 4.3 runner btw, I have a relatively unique understanding of this specific type of athlete/football player

First of all I’m 31, going viral is a lot easier now than it was when I played, if everyone around me had an HD camera at the time I played I promise you I would have. My fastest 40 time was 4.31 laser at 16yo before I had ever done a weighted squat in my life. I only got faster and to this day have yet to come across a single individual I can’t explode by. Believe it or not, not all elite quick twitch athletes make a living using their bodies. I chose to pursue my other gifts, because my mind is just as gifted and concussions are a real danger. That all may be hard for someone as mediocre as you to grasp, but that’s your problem.

@@derkdillon7938 some guys just don’t test well. It’s harder for some guys to go 100% without another man lined up across from them than it is for others. But Hester undoubtedly had sub 4.3 speed.

Football speed and track speed is diff. Hester is obvi faster than 4.4 on the field.
