This is my tierlist for which ADC's/Marksmen I think have a real shot of making it into 2XKO!
2XKO (Used to be named Project L) is Riot's upcoming Fighting Game featuring the League of Legends characters.

Marksmen and mages are definitely the more awkward bunch to pick from since most kinda hate the archetype. I am a weirdo zoner fan, though so of course I’d be happy to see some at launch. Lucian, though. If he doesn’t make it into the base roster, he’s for sure one that will be in a future update. There’s some inspiration options to take from for a dual pistol rushdown character with cases like Kaguya (Under Night) or Noel (BlazBlue) and I believe Lucian would fit into that style real well.

Oh absolutely. I think he's such an integral part to Ruination and OG lore. I think he'd be a banger and I lik ethe Kaguya + Noel shouts

Honestly I could see Zeri getting added later down the line. Her being from Zaun + the wall slide givers a little bit of a scrappy feel, and (I think) the game is lacking any install supers at the moment so her ult translates pretty decently. Definitely think shes more likely than someone like Sivir or Twitch

Everyone forgets the soulbound part of kalista's kit which would be awesome in a tag team game. Also she doesn't have to throw the spears and xin Zhao would be more of a only melee spear guy while kalista can throw them and has more ghostly moves

I could see Jhin working in a meta sense where his main combo gimmick is that each multiple of 4 hits in a combo makes a move do something different. So on the forth hit, instead of X move just knocking down, it actually knocks further into the air for a follow up, or when going for your ender and you finish it on 20 hits, it actually gives a hard knockdown for more oki instead of a soft knockdown I think that would give interesting ways for your assist choice as well, as some assists may work better for him within this combo structure, depending on the number of hits the assist actually does

Honestly Kalista, for me, have so much space for them to expand on They could make her main gimmick being her dash, like every time she perform a move, she can input a direction so that she will dash and attack to that direction Which means she can be made to be as a high mobility character that zip around constantly. Her way of fighting is by keeping the enemy at safe space with her range attacks then quickly rush them to give them devastating combo. Heck they can also make her used "Spear pulled" as a way to extend combo, some of her attacks will speared the enemy and she can do a special to pull it out. So she can focus on getting some spears in them from afar and then when the timing is right, she pulls them out, knocking the enemy and then rush them. I just think she is very capable as a fighting game character

Xayah kit is easy to translate into a fighting game without making her a zoner, her feathers could be a limited resource that you expend and gain.

I think Draven is pretty likely, myself. They wouldn't necessarily need to put in the catching mechanic, I picture him as a charge character where spinning your axes augments/changes your moves and strings. I'm personally gunning for Kindred , they're the only reason I gave league another chance and actually learned to play!

I’m a bit late to the video but one of the characters I’ve wanted to see in the game for a couple years now would be Taliyah. Because of how she could work in motion there would be so many cool key frames for her plus sometimes you just want to hit something with a rock. Also Irelia would probably flow really well on screen too.

Just started playing league more frequently to get familiar with the champs and ADC is the role I’m drawn to… I really hope aphelios makes it in because they could make him so complex and interesting, I think the amount of complexity will leave him as a later DLC but I can’t wait

As I've gone through more champs I completely agree with you. I think they're going to have to figure out and optimize more tech for complicated characters like Aphelios and Hwei. Ty for the comment!

I think a single playabale chatacter "lucian and senna" could be a really cool concept. Lucian is a more melee ranged focus character and senna gives him some zoning options

@@TempoMaou That sounds super cool but 2xKO being a 2v2 game I think it would make more sense to make them separate characters that are actually SUPER GOOD when played together. Maybe their specials combo into eachother.

This Video should have a Trigger warning for the amount of Times Zoners are mentioned. Though i can understand it since ADC more or less tend to all fall into that category. The only one I would like to see higher is Kalista, since her Tether Mechanic imo is a Great ability for a 2v2 Game. That said I understand her Popularity making her inclusion less likely. Personality wise Graves to me would be one of the most respectable choices since he is actually getting close and personal. All in all a great Video and I can't wait for the Rest of the Series (Don't you dare stop with this Zoner clusterfuck xD)

I'm thinking about kayn. It would be like since there are 2v2 matches each of the enemy champions are marked as red or blue. Hitting the champion marked as blue gives you blue orbs and eventually blue form and vice versa. Or you could like in tft where is kayn wins a round he becomes blue if he loses a round he goes red.

Of the ADCs, I think I really like Samira and Jhin, even more so because of their Soul Fighters skins, they already have that vibe in Fighting Games, and I bet this will be one of 2XKO's Skin lines

Hardest agree on Samira since her moveset's basically already in a tag fighting game or two. (Oh hi MvC Dante.) Trying to think of my biggest disagree to balance it out... Draven probably? If only because his bio and Awaken imply melee is how he ACTUALLY fights and the throwing is more of a cool finisher. So he's got more to work with than some.

Sometimes i think people tend to forget that just because the champion is range in League doesn’t mean they can’t use their weapon as a melee. Kalista and Sivir for example can absolutely use it as melee even more so than characters with guns. It’s not that hard to imagine them doing so.

Yea that's why I commented on the graves section that characters need to have melee fluidity in order to have hit strings in a fighting game. I also mentioned that Kalista could use her spears for physical attacks, but that's just Xin Zhao at home. Cause I do agree with you. Even Ezreal is going to have to do some scrappy fighting and it's going to look weird at first.

Another thing to note about this is that Jhin used to use knives before he got his gun, it might be possible he could use that in the game too.

In no way is Ezeral a “bow character” and popularity aside has less design space than Varus, and maybe Ashe. Varus has the Darkin corruption angle and blight status effect. While Ashe has hawkshot (setplay) and rangers focus as an install. Both can use the bow for bludgeoning attacks like Green Arrow in injustice 2, or Mettera from grand blue. Ezeral has Chuck shit on his Q, a mark that makes the next hit more positive for W, a teleport for E. And after that you have the skinny twink punching/kicking people sometimes with some magical flare. And the people who would 100% play Ashe/Varus/Kindred for the fact they have a bow as a weapon will not play Ezeral for his “energy bow”.

Yah I could see that. That's a fair assessment. He's not the typical play fantasy of a bow character. I like the Varus blight status effect, they could do some cool stuff with that

I was ok with this list until you placed Kai’Sa below Aphelios. Kai’Sa is one of the ADCs most fit for the fighting game. She is mobile, her weapon is her body so she isnt restricted by some gun and can use melee attacks for sure and as you said, she is one of the most favourite champs. She is most likely to get there.

You're putting too much weight on how they play in league, look at Ahri in 2xko compared to league, they hard reworked her to fit a fighting game. That's why popular champs like Kai'sa have an extremely high chance of being in, and then how unique they look compared to other champs. I don't think they will pick off existing toolkit.

He is pretty bland yea, but I was just saying that he makes more sense in the fighting game landscape and combining that with a tight roster, it might be hard to fit her in. I want Kalista over him though too
