I'd argue that Fujitora's words were one of the most heartwarming things in the entirety of One Piece, not just among the admirals. Something about the tone and overall atmosphere as he says it. It didn't feel over dramatic. Just completely genuine.

Believe it or not people also complained about Marine Ford when it was current. I wouldn't let what people say as the arc ia progressing get to you. The only that most people complain about is pacing, and thats usually because of the weekly nature of the manga. The anime though.. there's times I've had to stop out of frustration with it.

Anime doesn't show it but each Straw Hat grand fleet captain gets a manga cover page story. So sort of spoilers but the anime hasn't shown any of it yet, Barto comically insults Red Hair Shanks by claiming an island in his territory belongs to the Straw Hat pirates. Barto either picked the best or worst Yonko to claim territory from for Luffy.

The reason sengoku was so stressed pre timeskip is because he was the head of the Marines only being under the General Commander in Chief Kong who we saw after marinefort after he resinged from the position now a lot of waight was lifted from his shoulders so he is a lot more chilled.BTW next episode you will see that We Can! Fight the Yonko

In general the 3 movie conected filler arc (for strong world, z and gold) that act as a trailer to wanna make you want to see the movie are 4 episodes long and better from a story wise than the 3 episode long filler arcs that seem to lack length for an interesting story. Like the filler with that guy who controlled the animals, the marine cadet filler and the filler that was after thriller bark with the vacation island: all 3 episodes long and really low. Best 3 filler arcs with g8, icehunter and legendary dragon island conects that they also are the longest filler arcs.

Little thing people seem to forget with luffy announcing all of his attacks to fujitora is that when they first met fujitora's blindness was being taken advantage of during a poker game until luffy stepped in. Imo luffy simply didnt want to be like those petty thugs and take advantage of his blindness.

@@rivercrow1110 it's just a translation. Many names just get translated to fit better the alphabet or the speach of a language, if the original is jsut hard to speak for people of such a language. Like, there is no "ó" in many languages in such a way. Or how for example many german citiys have diffrent names in englich or wolrdwide. München becomes munich, Köln becomes Cologne. Sounds totaly diffrent too.

Doflamingo's speech was one of the greatest things to see back when it first dropped in the manga. The speculation alone led to numerous theories being made. PS. Oda was a Game of Thrones fan. (War for the THRONE)

The Yonta Maria is actually a reference of sorts to the Santa Maria, the name of Christopher Colombus' ship (whom Orlumbus is TOTALLY not named after in ANY way). In a sense you could call it the successor of the Santa Maria, since "San" in Japanes is 3, while "Yon" (as in Yonkou) is 4 in Japanese. Who knows? Blackbeard's ability to wield more than 1 devil fruit might just be linked to D.....

You and everyone like myself start to Theorize on what going to happen next and then you look back into the past and start theorizing about all the different events, characters, and their stories. Okay, now from this point on I know almost nothing. Dressrosa was the last I watched of One Piece before going on hiatus. Watching Jamie go through these made it so much more enjoyable, having similar reactions and experiencing it all with someone else is so much fun! So, a large part of our journey through One Piece is complete. Now, a part of the story just as large awaits us in the future. Here is to many more reactions and new adventures! 🍾
