As a woman, he did the right thing. She was a troubled person, but they had good years together, he didn't leave her with nothing, actually, she was even asked by the lawyer what she wanted... A true keeper She'll regret this for the rest of her life if she has any brain.
If they had no kids together, he should go and make a big contribution to his Place of worship and sing praises to GOD. She too got a house. if that house has some equity, she could use it to get a multifamily downsize to an apartment and rent out the rest, and then sell the house. If extra cash is realized, invest it, and continue her pursuits in life with low debt, and whilst receiving cash flow. I realize that if she was that prudent, she would have been more circumspect before overlooking "GS Strategies" as a Division of properties line item. Still she got something to work with.
@@MartinMurray1966 Clearly you have a grasp on the American psyche that others do not possess. You should work as a psychological sociologist and write books about your vast knowledge of the effect of greed on people. In it, you can tell everyone how much more you know on the topic than everyone else.
actually if she gets a lawyer she has 30 days to fight any unfair distribution of the marrital assets. I'd keep my mouth shut for a while if I was him.
Are you like 12? Besides being obvious, did you actually have to type that? I guess this is why things are not subtle today but have be smeared all over your face so people like you can get it.
I still believe the system feom the USA is wrong and outdated since these women aren't behaving like they used to back when it was worth giving them "half". It should become illegal to give anything that isn't yours just because a relationship is done, or even better erase that whole divorce law fiasco and start fresh with new bylaws that give to each their "well earned" owned and that's it.
Classic! The look on her face at the end, when she realizes that all their monies are being invested in the lottery, and she'll be broke (including losing the house - no monies for mortgage, utilities etc) 😂
In real life she would be entitled to part of the business since he started it while they were married. However, she signed away saying she agreed to not wanting part of it. Nice move.
What is she mad about she has a house, she only needs to work for food water and electricity now the rest can go for vacation and other shit, people are ungrateful 😂
I love how hes in the show mom as a recently miserable divorcee who's a therapist to an alcoholic / drug addict name Bonnie plunkett play by Allison janney
I really hate seeing divorce cases go down. A person you once loved and wanted to spend the rest of your life with is now competing against you to try and get as much as they can. I understand in some cases on or both parties are complete nut cases and have a bad divorce, but it’d be nice to see more civil cases go down where the two just happened to fall out of love and only want the best for each other, but they understand that they can’t have that together.
I tell people all the time. Cash your ticket out of town. Put half in a bank. Go home and put half in your account and half in hers. Within a week, you'll know how she feels about you. It's worth every dollar to find out.
FIY, don't be stupid enough to say anything about money you're getting or about to get and was vague about disclosing ALL the information, especially if you're sharing a lawyer in a divorce (which you never should) and said lawyer is getting a cut of said money (which i believe is what happens in this movie), cause if brought up, the other party WILL get you back to court and tell on you, and you WILL loose. Sometimes shutting your mouth and not brag WILL get you farther in life.
Sad fact. This actor used to tweet creepy shit about little kids before he scrubbed em off the internet around the time esptein island drama came to light
when the lawyer quietly speaks of someting.INQURE what is GS?? HE HAS TO TELL..but if you do not ask he HAS no recourse to tellyou withoiut the asking! hubby won out
