Spider-man might be one of Marvel’s most recognizable characters but he’s had a long road towards getting into the live action game. But once it had cleared that hurdle Sony has put the foot down on the gas when it comes to making the most of its license for Spider-man and Spider-man related characters. One thing that Sony doesn’t have is a lot of patience and its rush to get to the end has ended their ambitions faster than anything else. Avi Arad’s need to have Venom show up in the already planned Spider-man 3 muddled up what would have otherwise been a very Spider-man like story of redemption and forgiveness. The need to get to the Sinister Six as fast as possible also meant that in only two entries the Amazing Spider-man franchise with Andrew Garfield donning the body suit meant that the series became crowded and lost its way two movies in, a sad outcome for Garfield but an unexpected gift to Marvel fans as it led to the unprecedented deal between Sony and Disney that allowed Spider-man to join the rest of his Marvel colleagues in the MCU. He was even able to garner multiple Avenger mentors even if he doesn’t always listen to them. But before there was Holland or Garfield or even Macguire, there were small screen heroes in Shinji Todo as the giant robot piloting Japanese Spider-man and Tom Holland as the first of the live action wall crawlers wasting his talents on regular unenhanced bad guys and never a nice moral dilemma for him to solve. So of all the live action actors to slip into the body suit and portray the Friendly Neighborhood Spider-man, who played the strongest version? Is a giant robot enough to tip the scales? Tencho enhanced suit? Just plain old heroics? How would you rank the Spider-man actors by power? Imagine the CBS Avengers with Nick Hammond's Spider-Man, Lou Ferrigno's Incredible Hulk, whoever played Daredevil in "The Trial of the Incredible Hulk", and those aforementioned versions of Captain America and Doctor Strange. I don't know if you, but I think it has a nice vibe on it

Niggah what. Toby is not the physically strongest that goes to Tom there two major feats that prove that Thomas stronger than being the ferry which everyone talks about but that has nothing compared to the fact that he literally moved the f****** plane that was crashing you know how strong you have to be to do that. The words don't change anything they're all really strong technology or not. Andrew is literally the weakest of the three aside from the other characters no one really talks about he is literally the weakest he had trouble holding up a f****** car. The tech is literally what original Spider-Man does he is literally a tech head OG Tobey Maguire is actually the least like Spider-Man than all the three. Although the strongest technically can be considered Toby because he has physical strength that is weaker than Tom's but comparable his spider Sense is great and he the most important thing even more important than strength and spider Sense he has experience way more experienced than all of them.

@@monteoregal5691 no I can't deny Toby's Spider-Man is what really got me into Spider-Man but after actually looking at the comic Spider-Man he's not like Spider-Man as a kid he's more like the adult Spider-Man and even then not even that much. Spider-Man that is mostly on a comics is a kid and Tom Holland Spider-Man portraits that the best out of every live action Spider-Man. Toby Spider-Man felt more like a college student Spider-Man even when he was in high school and by college I mean four plus years into college he didn't feel like a kid I couldn't relate to him as a kid but it was a great movie nonetheless. Andrew's Spider-Man is way far from put Spider-Man is although he's more jokey he comes off more as a ass and he's the cool kid that's not what Spider-Man supposed to be as a kid. Tom Holland Spider-Man is the most perfect portrayal of a live action Peter Parker as a kid he's supposed to be nerdy and not have that many friends he's supposed to be really smart too and yes they are all smart but Tom's feels like he's the smartest. And if you actually watch the trilogy even if you don't like the first two movies they are more so showing him growing up you know leaving the high school error and that's why I love that trilogy more than the original trilogy and the other trilogies. It shows Spider-Man or Peter Parker becoming an adult understanding that he can't rely on everyone and he has to find his own way. And I hope to God if they make another movie with Tom that they do you need to fix this damn door

That's the whole argument is that people keep saying it makes him stronger when it doesn't. Now the iron spider suit makes him stronger but not his normal suit. It at the Munch of functions that are more useful than anyting but in all honesty it's nothing that MCU Peter Parker would not be able to figure out on his own. You can't forget that Peter Parker is a really smart person like one of the smartest in the MCU. Men's created his own webbing using school materials.

I know, I know... it's not "Live-Action", and it's not a Spider-man comparison, but I'm still gonna mention one of my favorite Spider-Man (your title forgot the hyphen) panels, from the back of a story. Imagine if you will he's holding up a disc, on which stands The Thing, Hercules, Thor, Namor, and The Hulk. and the comment reads: "“No, your friendly neighborhood Spider-man is NOT the strongest cut-up in Marveldom! It’s a no brained that Tom and Andrew are infinitely better than Tobey. Even though Andrew can be perceived as more comic accurate, my favorite is Tom, because he is the most relatable to me, and his movies are the most comic accurate in terms of the tone of the Stan Lee and Steve Ditko comics.

An ez reason from the top of my head is even i still say tom with Iron spidey is rye strongest main for additional attributes, when doc oct restrained him extending his arm, tom was struggling and grunting cuz he couldn't get free, but in Spider-Man 2, tobey's spidey was able to to break free via out muscling the arms and another ez reason i literally just thought of while typing is when Ark Reactor Amp'd Electro was blasting the spideys, from a zap Tom got his azz handed to him, but he did have broken ribs so I'll let it slide on that scene. So however, when tom first took on Electro (first incounter) Tom got zapped once and was like "Nooope!" Andrew was screaming in pain and agony from a prolonged electric blast, but fuq'n Tobey on the other hand hahaha. That man was chilling, Like deadass chilling. When Doc Oct came in the scene, Tobey was still restrained, but he was talking all calm and Andrew was still grunting in pain. That there shows you base to base, Tobey's spidey is the strongest.

Now don't go on about small things like doc oc holding him in place cuz that's more of plot convince and writers. Like look at Thor 3 the last 2 avengers and and Thor 4. Taika made Thor's character jokey then the avengers made him take shit seriously while being funny, and then taika did the stupidest shit and made Thor a complete fucking joke. @@JohnDoe-ou7mq that ferry feat is due to the assistance of the A.I karen letting him know where all the sturdy spots are at & the amount of webs he dished out and that plane feat is irrelevant cuz if Tobey and Andrew's spidey was in that situation they would literally would do the exact same thing. And you say it's due to plot, but at the end of the day it is shown Tobey's spidey out muscling those doc Oct arms while Tom couldn't. I can't sleep on doc oct, manz is weirdly strong asfu haha. And also, also...I wasn't saiyan purely raw strength, but like overall attributes. Like he's shown to stronger, more durable, and yadiyadiyada and I didn't really notice till I binge watched all the Spider-Man movies and really noticed in no way home. And also, I due may add...even tho Thor has became more jokey, he is also constantly shown to be getting stronger throughout the movies and plateau in endgame and then get back strong in love & thunder, it's just hard to notice at furst and then also villains are also strong as well...

The thing with toby's spiderman is we have seen his max strength on screen and passing out after the train got saved , where as we have not seen the max strength of both the others , andrew's is the most agile and tom has more resources (stark tech).

i personally think Tobey's Spiderman was the strongest among the 3 live action Spideys. He can go toe to toe with other Spidey villains pretty fair and can take a beating. With suit specially the Nano tech suit it will be Tom's Spidey but without the Iron Spiderman suit it will be Tobey's Spiderman.

That's dumb! You want a real comparison? Tobey's Spiderman leapt fearlessly onto Doc Ock several times in the film without fear of those mechanical arms Ock had, even knowing they could rip him apart. But Tom's Spidey while determined to take down Vulture played mostly 'keep-away' as if he was afraid of making contact with that menacing suit. I'll bet Tobey would have jumped on & engaged Vulture mano-y-mano without hesitation if he had gotten the chance!

Good critique, and alot of knowledge, my only complaint is that there was too many non-spiderman tangents with alot of non-spiderman film footage, I feel like over half the video was footage from other non-related movies. Video could have been cut in half. All and all a good video critique though.

Exactly! People keep saying Mcguire is the best spidey, no hes not the best spidey, the real spidey had a sense of humor, however Mcguire is the perfect Peter parker.

What would happen if we saw Tom Holland Spider-Man and Shinji_Todo working together since those two Spider-Man uses tech beyond anything like Shinji Todo has a giant Robot and Tom Holland can build any kind of tech inspired by Tony Stark?
