From an American standpoint, Stogie T is the clear cut winner, with a tie for second with Blaqbonez and Navio. In my humble opinion, Stogie T is the best in Africa hands down with no close second. If I had to rank them: 1. Stogie T 2. Khaligraph Jones 3. Kao Denero 4. Mode 9 5. Manifest 6. MI Abaga 7. Cassper Nyovest 8. Sarkodie 9. Lyrical Joe 10. Nasty C 11. Vector 12. Jesse Jagz 13. Kwesta 14. Blaqbonez 15. AQ - There are a lot of honorable mentions like Falz, Ice Prince, Jovi, Navio, AKA, Shane Eagle, A-Reece and Emtee. Proverb could easy be on this list, he's one of the greatest lyricist of all-time, however he's been inactive for a few years and only been doing only features and cyphers. But nobody can touch Stogie T aka Tumi Molekane, he is the king of Africa hip hop.

This was not a fair comparison, I count at least 7 real rappers in Africa. There's Stogie t, proverb, golden shavel, Neoto C, M.I, sakodie, and manifest. Don't put Stogie in the same category with rappers like these. Especially the one with shades. His definitely very far from being even close to African best rapper. He needs to improve his pen game by 100%
The the best African rappers are in Ghana,these are students and needs to schooled in the rape game,they may confront Lyrical Joe who is an underground rapper in Ghana.
The only rappers I respect from Ghana are Sarkodie, M.anifest and Lyrical Joe. Anyone else is not to the level. Am a Kenyan and i can attest to you that we have underground rappers who are fire. I know you only know Khaligraph Jones there are tens of underground rappers who can spit.. Watch "Khali cartel 1,2 and 3" and you can understand what I mean.
