Lily was litterally just chilling in her live casually singing for her fans while Ahyeon was legit singing for her career and had a full week to practice. The fact that it’s even comparable to begin with tells you enough, please don’t compare our queen in battles she can’t win 😭
You can't compare who sings better just by these 2 clips. Lily was streaming and casually singing whatever song fans asked her to sing, while Ahyeon was on a fully prepared stage performance. I hope one day we see them perform together on same stage.

Despite lily not practicing and just enjoying it in live I liked her clear pronounciation and 'controlled' voice (idk if thats the correct term lol) but I love Ahyeon's flow and texture in the song.
It's embarrassing because it's so much better of performance. Yg is just always trying to force their singers and it's weird. Like all you can see about ahyeon is she hit many difficult notes and she's vocally very powerful

Her performance is better. You can clearly hear every syllable and her tone is crystal clear and beautiful. I really don't like the yg vocal coaches. They're always forcing the girls to do something. It looks like they're forcing ahyeon to "sing powerfully" but unfortunately it's missing all nuance. Just like they've forced previous girls to sing with weird tones. It's so weird, because obviously ahyeon is a very talented singer 😭

ahyeon she gave to the song a whole new concept during her trainee days we can see that she has the most stable vocals among them she sang it powerful and clean with emotions
When she hits high note(in live) i saw her voice wss too high pitched or litle bit cracking So she aint the most stable But she definitely has good god gifted voice She can improve so much
What soul??? Ahyeon's version is more about technique, riffs and runs While lily's version have more emotion and soul which is how it's supposed to sound like

plus hers is an on the spot performance during a 1hour+ youtube live and not a performance that has been practiced for a survival program that most probably does post production vocal smoothing.
I love Lily's style I think she always does a great job making covers like her own song. Ahyeon on the other hand had clean register breaks and I'm glad she went with this song instead of the other song, it suits her powerful voice much better.
@@pikachu7572 You clearly know nothing about singing/vocal techniques. . .I've watched plenty of professional vocal coaches and singers react to Ahyeon's performance. . .she really did have clean register breaks and even hit a super high note in her chest voice instead of her head voice. . .I like to watch people reacting to Babymonster videos so much that I spend hours doing it. . .and all of them went into detail about how well Ahyeon sang and the specific techniques she used and how it was perfect for her voice. Ahyeon is an excellent singer. She has a naturally loud voice she wasnt screaming or yelling. The YG seniors judging her performance even commented that they almost thought Ahyeon had a different mic from the other girls because of how loud and powerful her vocals were. She's just excellent at projecting her voice with or without a mic. Pharita is the same. They have super powerful vocals.

@@saltlight4220 First of all, both of them delivered it well but in some parts, I can't understand what ahyeon is saying and I'm shock after I looked at the lyrics version because it's not what I heard from Ahyeon's version. Second of all, Ahyeon sang it live in the front of the judges but when we watched it, it's not live anymore because they recorded it in 2022 and there's a chance that the editor make something in ahyeon's version.

There are certain things that there is no point in fighting against. Lily is unbeatable, no one has her dominance in this generation. She made the song sound like nothing while Ahyeon trained for weeks for it and yet her head voice sounds shaky, or is it just the ugly vibrato @@E4STLABELS

it’s like entirely different circumstances lol, ahyeon is singing a pitch corrected and heavily edited version, so it’ll sound a lot smoother than lily singing in her room into her phone. If you listen to lily singing live in front of an audience there’s no comparison, she’s a beast when it comes to vocals !!!

We couldn’t compare them bc first of all ahyeon has been practicing this forever now and lily just sang for fun without any practice and second they both Slayed but in their own way

Ahyeon singing dangerously is really satisfying. Y'all need to watch her full performance.. She hit the high notes so flawless.. Really good in the ears.. She has a very strong voice..
