Sometimes changing the style of the song is not right, as it also changes the purpose of the song and the emotions that were meant to be delivered. Lyrical and melody whise the song was probaly meant to be impactfully sad, nostalgic and melancholic, and speeding up the pace of the song along with a more poppy melody and tone just doesn't make sense, especially after considering the lyrics. I feel that a change should deliver the same emotions, but more impactfully, without changing the purpose of the song. If it cannot do that better, there isn't a point in trying to stand out or not be generic, since in the end it probaly will end up being less impactful.

I love Lewis Capaldi. It doesn’t matter how many times i listen to his songs or his Covers, i ALWAYS get shocked at how unique his voice is. Like you could def tell that there is actuall emotions in his voice when he sings too. The lyrics are relatable and can be relatable for a lot of people and his voice is just so soothing
