@ Tan Tran curious? Lol you’re not the only one. I doubt the person that wrote the comment about Park Hyo Shin will respond to our request for more information. Also no matter how hard you try, you won’t find anything written online about Park Hyo Shin’s private life. I think he’s very careful about his business being out there. ALSO I think his fan club SoulTree is very protective of him and they don’t share anything online about his personal business. However, you can get some information from Park Hyo Shin himself. These nuggets are revealed in behind the scene footage from his MVs, teasers, and concerts. For example, Glove Entertainment has a teaser “The place was full of light” which shows PHS preparation for the 2019 Lovers concert. Boy did I learn a lot about PHS from that teaser! People often say PHS is shy and an introvert. To me he’s less of an introvert with his fans and he tends to reveals a lot about himself to them. In fact I’ve learned a great deal about PHS from his 2015-2019 concerts and fan meetings. To me whatever “lid” he’s tried to keep on his life spills out during these MVs, behind the scene footages and concerts. You’d have to have blinders on to not to see the obvious. I guess most die hard fans of Park Hyo Shin don’t care and say they support him no matter what. Not too long ago, I saw a JTBC’s special with composer Jung Jae Il ( I think it was called my song or the song). WOW! Let’s just say I learned a great deal more about PHS from this special... it was an eye opening experience 😱
Besides Hyoshin’s spectacular original version, Kyuhyun and Haeri were my favorites. Still waiting for Sohyang to cover this song, that will be the day I die.
Luna's is a separate studio recorded and edited version. Even in the lip sync for the video you can also see her taking multiple breaths that are not in the audio. But it's a nice studio version
@@madisonmiles830 once after "hyanggi" at 1:05 and once after "nara" once at 1:10. Those are definitely breaths. If you look at the neck you see it and the chest/shoulder area rising in addition, she just does it quite fast and shallow so it will look better in the video. I assure you she's not doing an 18 second phrase in a single breath. When you're just switching words your upper body doesn't rise like that and the neck/throat doesn't do that either. It's pretty clear, you can try sing that part yourself in the same breath, that won't happen unless you take a breath. Even park hyo shin wouldn't do luna's phrase live in 1 breath. It also makes sense to breathe in those spots, if you try to sing it. But in the studio editing out breaths is nothing new. Nevertheless we don't know how many breaths were actually cut in the studio recording she might have pulled it off after a few takes without the second breath. But either way it's just quite obvious that the vid we see is a not the actual performance but a lipsync to a finished recording and that breaths have been cut out
Mister K I’m not saying she did the whole phrase in one breath, I said she didn’t breathe before “ga”. At least not in the prerecording, which you said this was right? Pre recorded? In the actual video yeah I see it now she took a breath but it doesn’t sound like she took a breath in the recording.
I think I can agree with this. I think it has a lot to do with how they make their voices seem to be at their absolute limit. There's something powerful yet fragile about it, which suits the song.
Agreed. Hynn really appreciate the song and did not takes too much changes on the song, leave it as it is. Yet, she hit the notes in one breathe like PHS.
Park Hyo Shin is the best for me he reached C5 with passion and sounds like a voice that seems to fly into the sky... All is good but I like kyuhyun and lee heari's voice sorry for my English...
He actually is able to hit the note. It’s not about taking the risk. Kyuhyun is the probably only male vocalist under SM and in k-pop with a 4 octave range. He can support and resonate a C5 consistently. He can sing in full connected head voice up to F5. The note is within his limits. As you get older it’s all about preserving your voice and sometimes dodging notes especially after hours and hours of singing live is one way of doing that. It’s called being a smart vocalist
@@Hyxnjxn pretty sure he could indeed hit that c5 indeed but it does seem more of a risk, he already had to take that extra breath in between too. But park hyo shin is older and always sings it in the original key and he's been singing forever. Not to mention he does solo concerts where he performs so many songs by himself. Does that make park hyo shin not a smart vocalist then?
@@ymh12345 the difference is PHS supported C5 consistently while Kyuhyun supported C5 inconsistently, and that person clearly didn't shade PHS, but some singer who strained their A4 but singing in 5th octave range in almost all their song as if their life depends on it. Thats why Kyuhyun is a smart vocalist because he knows his own strengths and his own weakness and know how to apply that in his performance. Sorry for my bad English
The original and kyuhyun i think.. i felt more emotional when kyuhyun cover it. Idk why, maybe bcs his vocalization techniques n color vocal so smooth , his high note more comfortable in ma ears.
Only in the studio version tho. In live performance, he stopped after the first two seconds for breathe before continuing the remaining. You can check it in his sketchbook or happy together concert fancam
@@naderkhan6156 sorry but if u dont know abt PHS been suffering from vocal dysphonia a rare neurological condition which affect vocal muscles and causes involuntary spasm of these muscles, that's why his voice changes in every song/ album. This condition doesn't have any proper treat...he is legend what he is doing right now. If someone else gone through this,I'm sure they can't even overcome this.
@@flakesnow4234 I don't know who he is, is name isn't written in the video, but he can sing, that's for sure. I wrote Yangpa because it's the only one mentioned in the video.
@@JJ-eu3oi This is exactly why I think she was probably the second best. She's the only one who didn't have to pause multiple times. Haena sounded about as good, but required a pause.
HYNN is my favourite. Technically she’s up there with the best, and her ability to actually hit the notes with power, tone, feeling and in one breath…just amazing. Of course PHS original version is an unbeatable standard though.
All covers were nice but no other singer can sing "Wild Flower" like Park Hyo Shin, cos he's just in sync with this song and the emotions that his vocals stir are just out this world. I think this song is bitter sweet cos its beautiful to watch him sing it live, but then sad when he cries at the end. I've watched some vids of Park Hyo Shin singing this song live and my heart just breaks when he cries nearing the end😭😭😭 I hope he gets more recognition around the world because he has such a golden voice and is an amazing musician/performer.
You trully just brought tears to my eyes. I too always wished that he would venture out of SK, but the agencies in SK are selfish they dont want to lose singers like PHS. I am very happy that he is doing more musicals now - because he is just the best.
Well I don't understand why artists try to hit high notes...I mean instead of feeling the emotions behind the song they are just trying to show their skills..........music is not all about hitting high notes it's about feeling it from your heart......and this thing is often missing in many of the artists......I mean they all are very very talented and have great voice but they should try to feel the song and not worry about high notes......... This is what makes Park Hyo Shin different from others and this song best suits him because of this
It wouldnt have the same effect though if they didnt do those high notes though. Kyuhyun clearly demonstrates that. The song is pretty mellow and emotional for most parts but that part just adds impact to the song and shows the artist's skill. Besides, every singer attempts to be as good as PHS and hence they want to cover his songs and include those high notes. PHS is a master at technique and he just knows how to use his vocals effortlessly
The point of this song is to sing the highlight part of the song with one breath, and HYNN is the only one who saved it, and others couldn't. HYNN is the best!! I used a translator.😂😂
Kyuhyun did a great job. Its not easy to compete with girls of such a high notes caliber and I think everyone did gave the song the justice it deserves in their own way.
i think the way Park hyo shin and Kyuhyun expression is different when I first listen to both of them without knowing the meaning of this song for me Park Hyo Shin : really feel depressing and want cry, especially when the high note, it’s seem he is screaming with pain. the feeling really attacked me. Kyuhyun: I don’t know why, but I feel some kind of hope, or maybe bright side?? or pain but beautiful memories??
1. Park Hyo Shin 2.Kyuhyun (personally i thk it's not how high you sing the note, but the vibe and emotions the singers can provide which matches the song :P)
No one can beat Park Hyo Shin with Wild Flower. But other than him (exclude original singer), I prefer and love KyuHyun version more than other singer who cover it.
It's already given that Park Hyoshin sing it the best since it's his story, life, and his representative song.. Although some of them really does a good job singing the song especially the climax and some does it with a higher note and in one breath etc., I really can't find the emotions that park is giving in his every live performances. Park does not only singing it, he's telling his story.. And that's what other's can't bring and do. no one does it like park hyo shin himself.
I don't know why but when Kyuhyun sing that part, it hits me right in the feels more than the others. It just the way he delivers his songs really makes me emotional.
I say, Kyuhyun. It is a smart move to stay on his comfortable range and focus on delivering the emotions. Some sounds horrible because they're forcing the voice out.
No one can match Park. It's HIS song. It's not the grades you manage to achieve that counts but the emotion you convey... and Park is a master at it.... he's Amazing 💖🥰
Its not about the high notes, its about the emotion that the artist delivered during that parts, and PHS is the best at delivering the emotion straight to your heart.
Park hyo shin himself obviously. Can't beat the original wildflower. I dont think he should even be in here to be an option. Either way also the connection he has with this song. He just brings the most out of it, always gets emotional with the song. The man is a legend. His lives of this (and everything else) are amazing. He's just different as a singer, he's got that special something. After him though, Hynn did fantastic, she got it down the best. The pitch, phrasing, breath, run. so I'd give her that spot after Hyo shin. Most of the others either just didn't sound as good (as hyoshin. They still sound great too.) Or lacked the emotion and often put too many breaths in between the syllables so it sounds more disconnected, cuts the flow a bit and slightly less impressive. But I can't blame them for not having the same control/breath management as Hyo shin. Hynn did it the same as he does in his lives though so props for that. Also we do have to distinguish Live from a studio recording here. Luna did something interesting but it's studio, not live. What you see in the video is not what you hear and her vocals have been edited, she recorded the video lip synching to the already finished track. She would probably not do that live. Or at least not the same way, cause you can see her taking breaths in the video where in the audio the note is just being sustained so she would likely need those extra breaths. Would like to hear that live though
true that nothing can beat the original park hyoshin, but if were to compare all of the covers, hynn came closest to keeping the original flow of the song and hitting the climax without taking the easy route by pausing to take a breathe! her version was impressive :)
