There was never a need for sequels. And no one asked for this movie either. Lol. Not complaining about the action sequence. But definitely displeased about the way Jet Li was treated throughout this crappy ass movie overall.
Nah he just an actor and not so pretty boy. Jet Li, Dolph Lundgren and myself would take Sylvester Stallone's ass, easily, in a real life situation and or fight. Facts.
Not gonna lie Gary Daniels was quite awesome in this. He put up quite a fight and it took Jet Li and Statham together to finish him from 7:30 to 7:40 - Only weird thing was why his head was already leaning backwards for Jet Li to finish him. Also love how Steve Austin is the only guy in the franchise to beat Sly. Weird how at 8:22 Randy Couture takes a bullet to the ass but it doesn't mean anything for the rest of the movie. Awesome movie and awesome scene though, Expendables 1 will always be my favorite.
A fine intro the Expendables franchise. But the part 2 was the best 4 me. Just like blade 2. Lord of the rings 2. The ring 2. Xmen 2. Avengers 2. Captain america 2. & So many other great part 2 movies.

Wait a minute? Sylvester Stallone decapitates the one dude at 2:54 but in the next shot at 3:00 it seems like he still has his head. We see the other dude with the knife in the throat tossed to the other side. So, what? We didn't see a third guy, only two! Continuity mistake?
Yeah continuity mistake, the director wanted us to know where the first guy had fallen so he showed it to us, and to make it evident he showed his face with his body still attached, otherwise only the head would've been scary for kids, only the decapitated body would've been a dark view and same for both the head and body separated, would've been too dark of an image for the movie
4th film was awful! Skip that one! Mainly the fact Sylvester Stallone almost killed off Barney Ross and fans were unhappy he didn’t get a full time role anymore!
He couldn't have win any of them. Its just a movie. All of the actors in this film especially Jet Li and Dolph Lundgren would take down Sylvester Stallone without so much as a fight.
Also just look at how when the other guys came in to save Stallone's sorry ass, Jet Li easily subdue Stone Cold Steve Austin. While Stallone got his ass kicked. I think that sums things up alright.
These action movies have always been funny to me unlimited magazine capacity and Stallone is using a what looks like a 8 inch pistol AR in full auto with one of those you could literally stand 3 feet Infront of your target and hit nothing or everything but your target 🎯😂😂😂 can please have me a Hollywood gun??
@@taste_trail_reviews I really respect him for taking the risk of injury in action scenes, in order to make them as realistic as possible. We can't say it was totally worthless. The shot is great
Agreed. He's a lousy actor and the best or worst part? He's not a legit martial artist too. Lol. Or a fighter, nope. A screen fighter perhaps. But the rest of the guys in the film on his team with the exception of Terry crews he's just big, the rest of them are actually legit martial artist and fighters in real life especially Jet Li, Dolph Lundgren and Randy Couture. Jason Statham does kickboxing on a recreational basis and looks good on screen fighting. But stallone? He's perhaps decent or good at filmmaking and that's about it. Can't act, can't fight but really tries hard to portray himself as a martial artist and fighter in all his films and attempt to establish himself as so, and you know its all just a movie or a bunch of bullsh*t. LOL.
