*SPOILERS.* After giving Jotaro an OP af ability such as time-stop, Araki thought that he should nerf him. Or he could defeat anyone pretty easily. So that he came with the brilliant idea of giving Jotaro heart problems. Everytime Jotaro used his time-stop ability, the duration of the said ability decreased. In DIO fight, he stopped time for 5 seconds. But in Part 4, he can stop the time for 2 seconds at best. And in later parts, this gets worse and he can stop the time for a brief moment at his best condition. It also severely tires him so that he can't use it back to back. After gaining Star Platinum back in Part 6, Star Platinum officially gets the name of *"Star Platinum : The World"* and he can one again stop the time for 5 seconds straight. It also doesn't tire him anymore and he can spam it. But in exchange, Star Platinum's durability stat decreases to E from A. Meaning that it becomes more fragile than a normal human being(C stat). But it doesn't affect its A power stat.
