Definitely understand your POV Zo. She kept saying she was glad he had money, and went in blind. She was even a little bit entitled as well. This wasn’t a fairy tale. She stayed and became numb, but finally woke up when he lied about that car coming to her house.
I chose to watch Zo’s reactions because 3 parts in, I couldn’t take watching her by myself. Lol. Zo’s real reaction helped me stay in, so this muted one had me zoned out of the story a few times, too. That being said, thank you for always being you, Zo. I don’t think the critics wanted you to not react truthfully or honestly, it was more so about you jumping to conclusions that were far away from the statements/facts given (like her being the liar instead of the pathological liar mentioned), especially since it was said by others you had similar experiences. Also, a lot of people, women especially, relate to a lot of things she’s done or fell for, so Reesa being called a liar is like taking a personal shot at audience members with similar experiences. Just turned a lot of people off because of the lack of empathy and jumping to conclusions, not because of you speaking on self love, her being gullible/her having a role in this, etc. Me personally, I stopped watching your reaction to her story in the middle of your part one because of the stuff above, and I have never experienced any situation even remotely similar to this.

Sorry-not-sorry but that's a bad take to have, respectively. No hate. By saying, "people treat you how you “allow” them", *that is in fact* victim-blaming. Prime example: Telling a rape victim they "allow" their rapist to rape them. Or they "allowed" themselves to be raped. Being treated horribly, unprovoked, without consent isn't the recipient's fault. That's the abuser's fault and the abuser fault alone. It doesn't matter how you spin it, chop it, dice it, etc. No one "shut out everything else" of anything that's being said nor had selective-hearing. A person treating another person horribly and then blaming the person that was the recipient of said horrible treatment IS 100% victim-blaming/victim-shaming. There's people that can't or maybe aren't able to defend themselves or get out of certain situations, etc. So why say that they "allow" themselves to be treated horribly when they didn't? 🤔 Ultimately, the blame needs to be on the abuser/bully/culprit/manipulator/gaslighter/narcissist/liar/hypocrite, etc. - alone.
