Technically it’s the president sole decision to deem things as classified or not. For example when trump shared an image from a military satellite that image was classified. The moment he shared it it’s deemed declassified. The president is sole decision make here

I saw a documentary about life after presidency and not everything about it was favourable. Some degree of freedom to go and do whatever you like is reduced for the rest of lifetime for example.
