I really like this figure, and I can live with it as is, because I love that head sculpt, and I'm not attached to this character. That said, I still don't understand why we didn't get TWO heads with this one??? Black Bolt got two heads with one screaming, right?? This is EXACTLY Hasbro's problem as an action figure company. The budget limits always keep them from success where most fans are concerned. Too many cut corners and ALL OF THE TIME. If this figure had an extra screaming head, this is easily a 9 out of 10 figure, but because it doesn't, it falls to like a 6 or 7. Little things like the lack of paint on the hair are annoying, but things one can easily live with, but the lack of a screaming head? Well, it's kind of like giving us a Clark Kent figure, only someone forgot to include his horn rimmed glasses! It's a MAJOR misstep! A glaring mistake on Hasbro's part. I've seen a dozen reviews on this figure on RU-vid, and not one single reviewer understands why another head wasn't included, and I think that's a good barometer of what collectors think as well. If Hasbro's going to charge more, change their boxes, etc, they're going to have to balance things out with the consumers a little. They need to step the Hell up! They have to, or collectors like me are going to abandoned Marvel Legends, GI Joe Classified and Star Wars Black Series entirely for better made toys. Believe me, I'd be happy just putting all my money towards Mythic Legions figures that NEVER disappoint.
Just abandon them now. If you don’t do it now, you’ll never leave like the girlfriend who’s always telling her friends she’s going to leave her boyfriend who consistently neglect her, but in next 2 years still with the boyfriend.
If they were horrible all of the time, walking away would be easier. Example: put Jigsaw and Siryn together and from the work on the figures alone, it is difficult to determine they came from the same company. I am not compromising my $$$ to accept the indiscretions Hasbro suffers from anymore. If their product isn't exactly what I want, I am not getting it. I do not want a closed mouth Siryn.

Siren with no screaming head and speedball and Vulcan with energy effects is the difference between me buying it and not buying...with all the price hikes I'm more selective with what I buy and would have bought all three years ago ....I wish hasbro would do away with the bafs give us those bigger figs as deluxe offerings and give us proper charecter accessories with these legends
Gonna be honest--I'm mostly getting this figure to put the head on my Phoenix figure. I would not be surprised if Hasbro rereleases this figure in a 2 pack with Banshee that includes a screaming head for both characters.
Nice review, I will get this figure. I agree an additional yelling head sculpt is a must but I like this character. The head / face looks similar to my girlfriend so I suppose I’m biased to like it. Thankfully my gf doesn’t yell at me ;)
Your split screen presentation is brilliant, right down to the timing. You know your audience and our short attention spans well! 😀 I wouldn’t worry about the screaming head. It will be included with the retro card/fan channel exclusive. You’re not going to sell a figure twice to the same collector if you give them all of the necessary accessories and/or the correct deco up front! 😛

I'm fine with the neutral expression if it is the default. Sure a screaming face would be great if we get an extra head. But if we only get one head sculpt then I'd rather it be a neutral one and not a permanent scream.
Tbh I'm glad we have a Siryn but again disappointed with no additional screaming head sculpt. Still anxious to receive my preorder of the Bonebreaker wave.
I don't know if the live stream is going to stay up, but I'll write this here instead. I had an interesting dialogue with channel regular Blake Kwamin about some cool topics, and right after that live-stream was over, I saw this video which I already had opened, which may be of interest to other people as well: " Double Speak: A Blueprint to Control You " by The Fourth Age Which sort of amazingly seems to be bringing up similar things. I am wary of corporations and individuals and groups tying themselves too closely to each other, or allowing corporations with a monetary agenda to try to "speak for" certain people or groups they likely have no genuine interest in helping, supporting, or understanding in the slightest. This becomes even more problematic potentially when in their naïve attempts to represent minorities or marginalized people end up coming off as grouping efforts, boxing efforts, and heavy-handed stereotyping, as well as "us and them(ism)", othering, and differentiating by certain factors or elements which should be considered superficial, arbitrary, and irrelevant. That is the best a soulless corporation wearing a human mask and pretending to know or like people, when all they want is to use people and take their resources, can do. In an old movie called Our Man Flint, they had characters who had names that one might expect associated with certain ethnicities, except they were played by people of other ethnicities, and there seemed to be no particular restriction in who could play what, say what, or be what, everyone was apparently free to be anything, have any name, and weren't locked into stereotypes for fear of having it called "appropriation". I believe this whole thing, as good as its intentions may have been, has almost completely backfired and been hijacked by people who don't understand what they are doing and the divisiveness and trouble that is being created rather than the assimilation and acceptance and color-blindness and sharing without restriction between peers without fear of accusation of appropriation or some crimes when all human heritage should belong to all humans, not tribally "us only, not them". It is essentially bigoted and destructive towards any people actually getting along to create cliques and micro- or sub-cliques within those, and each shutting out and gatekeeping between each other and finding every flaw to attack in petty squabbles over "first world" problems for people with way too much time on their hands apparently and not enough "real problems" or knowledge of crucial struggles occurring right now in every part of the world (having to do with doomsday scenario for the general public's economic future and lifestyle possibilities). It is a distraction being used by corporations to keep people disinterested and disengaged from being able to do anything about their measures which are meant to divide people so that they can not organize against them, and anyone who falls for such a simple plot is probably deemed a "useful idiot" by these very same money and power wielders who keep fomenting these "culture wars" to keep people's eyes off how our rights and all dignity is being swept from under our feet and conditions are becoming so bad that people will soon have to live in tinier spaces making less than ever and practically live like they are in a state of slavery and debt in order to even live at the bare minimum level to cover all the expenses and bills and food, shelter, and electricity. That is a terrible reversal from how things were even just a few decades ago, as people could do a lot more with a lot less money, and now people have around the same money, while being able to do a lot less with it. Furthermore, these corporations are essentially, almost knowingly, racist, and not only are they frequently controlled at the most essential and highest levels by certain groups of people who just keep helping their own family members and relatives to maintain their organizations and keep the money circulating in closed upper circles without anyone else being allowed in or near it, but they promote propaganda and control media which promote stereotypes which mislead people or creates false expectations, instead of just showing everyone as relatively the same and normal no matter where they might be in the world, and relatable, they create over-the-top depictions of "This is like this, and that is like that" which are simply false if anyone has gotten to know people, all humans are more alike and doing things that are more alike than different for most of the day, but that is not the message that is typically promoted by these organizations which control almost everything we see, hear, and buy. Disney has not impressed me much (Shania Twain song) with the way that they have tried to lock people into certain stereotypes, even while supporting and thanking oppressive groups that are torturing people (like thanking the concentration camps terrorizing the Muslim Uyghurs in China when making Mulan and in the credits for it as well). They simply don't care, and they aren't really your friends. If you didn't give them money, they wouldn't care if you died in a ditch, and they make so much money anyway, that you're expendable, so they don't care if you die in a ditch. It isn't true, in my opinion, that "any representation is good representation", since representation that promotes false stereotypes or misleads the ignorant or unaware or people during their youth and development and influences their formation of ideas about things but does so in a misleading and false way, is not helpful, nor is it helpful to allow groups that really don't give a darn in actually be the "voice" that tries to control the people they actually want to manipulate and use. Representation and recognition and awareness are the duties of the people themselves, and the corporations should then also support and allow actual advocates to be able to write and promote authentic messages and stories which speak to people and educate those who don't know, but the best sort of lessons are those which are not heavy-handed, but rather show people as relatable and "the same" with differentiating factors being nearly irrelevant and negligible, so that people can see that animals and people are all rather more similar than different, and that people are not being asked to forcefully accept the most unrelatable extremes before even comprehending the sameness between people and motives which make sense. Not only that, but in the attempt to pander to this group or that group, another and another may be trampled or ignored or wrongfully jumbled up with things that have nothing to do with their own issues. Finally, entertainment should be about entertainment, not a replacement for philosophy, government, civil law, and spirituality. Entertainment, at least for me, seems to be failing to entertain me. A counter example though, is the film INTERCEPTOR which I think you all should see. It has all the usual messaging, yet is still entirely focused on entertainment and it is extremely entertaining, with great action and martial arts choreography and combat scenes. So a film can have all sorts of messages and representation, and not be annoying and boring, and Interceptor proves that, and other films should model themselves after the Interceptor style and pacing and how quickly it gets to the action and keeps the action going and repeating, which was also modeled after older films from the 90s and 80s. It has become my favorite film in recent times. I also saw "The Turning" which was pretty boring and had a shockingly terrible ending or add-on ending which made the entire boring and un-scary experience all the more crappy feeling afterwards and like a total waste of time, and also another one from 2013 called "I'll Follow You Down" or something, which was a bit better, but now Interceptor is the entertainment experience from modern times that I hold all other modern films against for comparison! Like an excellent toy to compare the other toys to and gauge how well they compare to the frequency of enjoyable moments and events. Similarly, I like when the videos on this channel are non-stop, back-to-back, fast-paced ridiculousness, humor, and entertainment, just like the way Interceptor didn't keep people waiting and had practically no slow parts in it. It can be done! Most movies and television shows these days are terrible. I saw Episode 1 or "Part I" of Obi-Wan now, and though it isn't enough to tell if it is going to be bad or not (and I'm pretty certain it is going to be), it was already irritating, badly written, boring, slow, with barely any acting, with a guy forced to be Asian due to the shape of the hat he was drawn with, I mean talk about racism without trying to be racist lol, this is how this ridiculousness ends up backfiring, and some of the acting is so heinously bad that it seems worse than a fan-film, even how some things look, like how the one fish payment guy speaks, man they shouldn't have allowed that guy to speak lol. The bad acting is maybe in the Prequel tradition, haha, I do still want Obi-Wan in a blue shirt to become available though, in case I might purchase it. I've also pre-ordered all the Inquisitor figures so far, since I already have the one from the Fallen Order game too, so it might make for a nice set or team, and maybe I can heat and squeeze the one guys head until it elongates. Well that sounded appropriate for this month, according to our corporate overlords, except we shouldn't have to do such things, they should come that way! Well they probably do!
I've been waiting for this figure for practically decades. Not the costume I wanted but I probably won't get another Siryn figure ever and have to settle for her.
Thanks for the video review David. I hope London ComCon was everything you asked for this year. It surprises me none of the negative remarks from EVERYONE on the lack of the screaming sculpt. Looking at the package they stuffed it in, I am secondly surprised no one on the line saw the picture and the product and said "wait a sec???". Thirdly it surprises me none that Ha$bro More Loot comic-based line line is offering a secondary figure (everyone altogether - again - Ha$bro? BANSHEE!!! - you can use the Grim Reaper buck - you already had the paints for her??????) . For the last surprise, wow it took less then a month before Amazon starts selling this one off at less then $20. I know you love this wave David - especially the BAF - and it is a real kick watching you review Maggot, Bonebreaker and Sabretooth - but for everything I find right with it, I find something equally or glaringly wrong with it. Sorry for crapping all over your page (Maggot's a really decent piece of art bytheby).

This figure is good but not good enough. At this new price point, the figures will need to be quite a bit better to warrant a purchase from me. Additional head and hands, at a bare minimum. I'm only picking up the figures that are stellar enough or of characters that I love enough, but Siryn is neither.
Around £28, no extra head sculpt, pretty cheap paint job, no shading, not even a single effects accessory....not even one....and around £28! Yeeeeeah....Hasbro are extracting the urine here, let's be honest. Compare this to a NECA figure at the same price. This ain't good.
I stand corrected matey, but yeah....extracting the urine a bit, ain't it. I bought the MOON KNIGHT OG figure for about the same price when it was released. Extra head, set of fists, moon darts AND his pole thingy. Bought the MARVEL SELECT THOR with the whirly mjolnir Hammer accessory, extra head and hands at the same price, give or take a quid. If Hasbro were a small company, I could give them some leeway, buuuut....NAH!
