Thank you so very much for covering this lady. I've always felt she lived in her sister's shadow. She was an unsung fashion and social icon.

I have heard that she was the one with the great taste, but Jackie got all the credit. I’m not sure what’s true, but I think she did a beautiful job in fashion and decor.❤

0:40 Not 1967. That is a still photo from the White House Tour. Jackie was not in the White House in 1967. I believe Lee was not able to be with Jackie at the funeral for the President. She was in London recovering from the premature birth of her daughter. A lot of gossip in here.

It was JFK's inauguration that Lee could not attend due to the birth of of her daughter Anna that you mention. In a 2016 rare interview with Vanity Fair, Lee spoke of flying from London for the funeral and an extended stay with Jackie. It did not go well. "In an attempt to comfort Jackie, Radziwill reportedly left a note reading, “Good night my darling Jacks - the bravest and noblest of all. L,” on her sister’s pillow, but it didn’t help much. Confiding to her friend Cecil Beaton, Radziwill shared that she “had gone through hell,” in an attempt to be there for Jackie, but the dynamic was thrown off and they even got physical once when Jackie slapped Radziwill in the face."

@@wintercame Yes, Thank you. I was close. Likely Jackie picked up that face slap from her mother, Janet. One or two books I've read mentioned this.

@@normanduke8855 Interesting! Not ladylike or restrained, but Jackie was suffering deep grief and PTSD at the time, and drinking heavily. That little note from Lee left on her pillow might not have helped.
