Wish to have more of Fireteam Raven, maybe as unlockable characters in Halo 3 ODST play in firefight.

Would be cool to see them in a lone wolf type last stand firefight mission with endless waves and having 4 players fight until the end and it only ends until the last one dies, fitting seeing as they sacrificed themselves and fought till the end

Haven’t played the game, but it looks like it would be fun for a little while. It definitely has an interesting premise how it loosely adapts CE/The Flood book and adds some new things into the mix. Too bad none of their lore was communicated through the game. For MCC they really should have combined the Firefight and Fireteam Raven updates/seasons into one. This would include stuff like adding Firefight maps based on the game, having the team be unlockable characters for ODST instead of armor pieces in 3, and fixing the Elites and adding in Juggernauts for ODST Firefight. That would have made more sense and would have been so much better than how things turned out. On a slightly off note for the horrible “Halo” show they really should have just made a mini series that juggles the plots of CE, Fireteam Raven, and The Flood book. I think we can all agree that would have been so much better.

I really think the show should have only had Chief as a side character; he's not a character you can build a show around really without making significant changes to him, and that didn't go down well. Should have focussed on some other Spartans or hell, even Marines or ODST, and just have chief pop in occasionally to save their ass

Yeah that is true. From what I hear back in the day when Bungie was thinking about making a Halo movie the plan was pretty much the same as you suggested. You’d have marines in a gritty war movie, and Chief would show up occasionally for a cool action scene to save them. Although, if you’ve seen some of the weird ideas they had I’d say it’s a good thing that didn’t get made. Too bad what we got was so much worse.
